Reviews for Hotel Mediterrane
Review 1:Room reservation indicated a view of the Malecon but the trees blocked most of the view.
Review 2:Location, nice setting, just off of the Malecon so relatively quiet.
Review 3:We did not patronize the restaurant for anything but breakfast one morning because of the unnecessarily high prices; there are more reasonable options in La Paz. The breakfast was greatly over-priced, with no simple toast and jam available in addition to the entree except for a high price, and only espresso, with a charge for each small cup (no ordinary coffee or refills).
Review 4:The attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff was the main pleasure we had in staying here. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Review 5:Run down rooms. Hair all over the floor as we checked in the room. An extremely small 17" or 19" tv to watch from bed which is about 4 (roughly 12 ft away). Clogged toilet in the middle of the night. No batteries on remote control for ac. Furniture smell like 100 years old. Using booking exclude us from getting breakfast.
Review 6:Location. Balcony.
Review 7:Some tiles were raised from the floor on my side of the bed and starting to break. At risk of cutting feet. Had to ask for extra blanket as only one very small one provided not big enough for very large bed.
Review 8:Upstairs room. Liked space to eat outside. View from sun terrace. Light airy room. Left alone but greeted warmly when walking through hotel. Bottled water provided.
Review 9:Like others have said, the bed was pretty hard. No other complaints.
Review 10:Just a half block from the malecon and walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks one morning, loved the breakfasts and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sunset view from the rooftop was spectacular. We would stay here again when visiting La Paz.
Review 11:main window in room did not open (probably so people don't run air conditioning with the window open, but it would have been nice to have that option). Window above shower was open which helped get the moisture out from the shower
Review 12:quiet, spacious room. Nice that it was right off the Malecon but at one end so it was not so noisy (although, I had the air condition on so that probably helped). Nice restaurant with outdoor seating, very convenient. Staff was very nice and helpful
Review 13:My stay at Hotel Mediterrane was WONDERFUL! The hotel staff was kind, helpful, and fun! Barbara is a doll. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was cold. Water was hot! Wifi was fast. Restaurant food was delicious. Fantastic location. I highly recommend.
Review 14:Way too expensive for what it offers. There are better options at half the cost elsewhere in La Paz.
Review 15:Nice location.
Review 16:Clean Personnel were great! Very helpful, polite
Review 17:Room Design/Spacious The receptionist in the morning Location
Review 18:Good location close to the Malecon, restaurants and museums. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Review 19:Bathroom needed some maintenance
Review 20:Excellent restaurant and good WiFi
Review 21:Excellent location...very good facilities....spotless...hot water a challenge....BUT THE STAFF AND PROPRIETORS ARE BEYOND REPROACH !
Review 22:The hotel side was calm and friendly and we had the luxury of the best restaurant in town as well
Review 23:Highly recommended. Make sure to eat at Zoe during your stay.
Review 24:The bed was so hard you could bounce a quarter off it.
Review 25:Great spacious room with a beautiful view of the sky and the mariana, good location.
Review 26:Nothing of note
Review 27:Easy in and out, spoke English well, close to many La Paz sites
