Reviews for City of Art Venice LLoyd
Review 1:Is nice if can provide more clear direction to the hostel from the train station, as there are many exist from the station and no signboard showed at the train station to Marghera. No many restaurant/ cafe nearby the area.
Review 2:my room has upgraded to twin room with bathroom without additional charges, as the booked hostel has closed.
Review 3:Some annoying things to point. The nicest person there was the cleaning lady which we stumble now and then by accident, but this is a minor thing. Imagine that when the top neighboor would flush the toilet or take a shower, our room would become full with this noise of water running everywhere, like very very loud. So imagine when they decided to take a shower at 5 am, which is within their right, but we awoke and could not sleep for half an hour which was the time they took. This was seriously annoying. Another thing is that the walls seemed like they were made of paper. It was like high definition. We could hear the neighboors playing and laughing and, worst, another couple whispering, and you could tell they were whispering and still hear it. Later that night, the things evolved, if you know what I mean, and so we got the chance to hear them doing their thing for the all duration wich is an old hotel cliché and usually does no harm but this was really very loud.
Review 4:The proximity to the station, the breakfast was ok. The clealiness was perfect too. The price was ok for who doesn't want to spend a lot like us
Review 5:The hotel has no free WIFI, and if you want the use the internet you can use it only in the lobby and for 30 min you pay 1 euro. One of the staff members was very rude and unpleasant to deal with.
Review 6:The hotel has a good location, the only bad thing is that to get to the hotel from Mestre bus/train station you should walk through a underground tunnel/passage that even though has good illumination it is kind of lonely and around 150 meters long, it was a little bit frightening.
Review 7:I booked the City of Art Venice Lloyd Hotel in late September for a one night stay on December 18/19. The City of Art Venice Lloyd Hotel was closed because there were no clients (no wonder, it's not a very good hotel). However, they put me at the Hotel Mondial, across the street (the hotel where one can leave the luggage at the reception when the reception at City of Art Lloyd is closed). So this is a review for Hotel Mondial, where I spent the night of December 18/19. Hotel Mondial (although seemingly owned by the same company) is better than City of Art Venice Lloyd. It has FREE internet at the reception, unlike City of Art Venice Lloyd. Both these hotels are very close to the Venezia Mestre train station, so that works in their favor. Although breakfast and dinner were available at Hotel Mondial, I didn't eat there. I preferred to have dinner at a pizzeria nearby. The Italian guy at the reception was friendly and funny. Thumbs up for him. I think I'll book Hotel Mondial instead of City of Art Lloyd in the future.
Review 8:I didn't like that they don't ha've included WiFi, and the only place you you can use their hourly-rate WiFi is in the small lounge area next to the ground floor foyer.
Review 9:There were comfortable, spacious rooms with good ensuite shower. A very large dining room for a quite good, included breakfast. You can catch either the bus across the road, or 3 min walk to a train, to get onto the island of Venice.
Review 10:prefer to have some flexibility on check-in and check-out hours. Arrived around 1PM and have to wait at the hotel lobby for nearly 1.5 hours to get the room
Review 11:Good deal for the money, central location, few minutes walk to Venice Maestre train station.
Review 12:We stayed one hour waiting outside the hotel with the luggage waiting the checkin,no one open the door for us No wifi No sign board to hotel direction
Review 13:CLEAN BREAKFAST
Review 14:The hotel itself is disgraceful. Mouldy ceiling in the bathroom, no pressure in the shower, no hot water, dirty walls, missing cover on the switches... I stayed only two nights but couldn't sleep almost at all because the walls are extremely thin and could hear everything from other rooms. Paid €100 but definitely didn't worth it.
Review 15:The location is absolutely excellent, staff is helpful and polite.
Review 16:Thin cardboard walls let you hear all your neighbors noises. Very small room and bathroom, dirty dusty curtains. Shabby place, better avoid.
Review 17:Near to the train station.
Review 18:It was very cold in bathroom and bad smell. King sized bed was actually two separate beds put together and always separating apart. We expected breakfast like that (some cakes, flakes and ham) but coffee was terrible. It smelled bad and tasted also very bad.
Review 19:Location was good.
Review 20:Small rooms. Quite dirty. Any heating-it was cold. Any soundisolation - you will hear everything that happens arround. Shower is leaking very much, I had to clean up the water. This is the only place to come and immediately go to sleep if you get tired after Venezia walking)))
Review 21:The staff is quite cooperative. Few minutes walk to Venezia Mestre train station. Free hotel parking!!! Breakfest included.
Review 22:The hotel looks very dirty when you get in. The reception looks amazing in the photos but once you get there you find out that it is the only renovated part of the hotel. The rooms are old and tiny, and don't have many facilities. The breakfast is very poor (the juice was impossible to drink). You can't go out at night because reception closes at 23:00 and after that time you can't get in. In general a hotel that I do not recommend, however it is quite cheap and located less than 15 minutes by car from Venice's piazzale di Roma.
Review 23:We liked the recepcionist, he was very friendly and nice. The free parking at the hotel was a good surprise when we arrived and we appreciated it.
Review 24:The hotel is very close to the Mestre train station. It's very conveniently located for somebody who wants to visit Venice. The room I stayed in was soundproof, which was a great thing. This hotel has a good value for money if one doesn't request neither an internet connection (available in the lobby near the reception, and not for free) nor breakfast :)
Review 25:Everywhere is dirty, the bed, the wall, the table, like I was in 1960's. The toilet is no larger than one person. The waiter is emotionless, only ask moneyfor internet, for map, for towel, for this and for that. The breakfast you buy one night before cost 4 euro, but 5 euro if you pay in the morning. Look, they call it BREAKFAST! Awesome! It is silly to ask for 5 euro.
Review 26:Awesome, there is warm water for shower!
Review 27:I was badly impressed by the dirty walls. It's such a huge discrepancy between the bathroom, floors and laundry (extremely clean!) and such dirty walls. As I couldn't stand the dirty wall right next to the bed, I have cleand it by myself. It took me about 15 minutes and I used 5 wet wipes to get the job done. I would kindly ask the administration to check room #206 and to notice the difference between the wall next to the bed and the large, dirty one. It's been the same level of dirt. I believe that the walls could be cleaned up after each guest. It would take max one minute and one wet wipe but it would make such a big difference to the guests. It's unpleasant to be welcome by dirty walls to your room... Something else: there is no chest or wardrobe, although there is a particular space designed for that purpose. I don't unedrstand... Even a couple of high night tables with drawers would do. All these could be fixed with proper maintenance.
Review 28:I liked first of all the staff: very kind people, professional, helpful and friendly. I also liked very much the location - 5 walking minutes from the railway station. I appreciated the high level of cleanliness of the bathroom, floors, sheets and towels - which are really fresh. too. Good breakfast too - for all tastes. Not a wide selection, but good quality food. I would choose this hotel again if I'd have to stay in Mestre.
Review 29:you must PAY for WiFi. wich works just in the LOBBY!. bad comunicaion - man from the reception..
Review 30:clean room / bathroom. towels was changed every day, shampoo, soap.
Review 31:Good maps did not show the location clearly which created confusion & some time waste. No Indian hotels near this Hotel. Hotel name on the outside is given as 'City'only and not the full hotel name
Review 32:Excellent Location. Close to Venice Mestre Railway Station. Easy accessible by bus to Venice island. Breakfast was good. Courtesy of staffs was good. Clean hotel. Only 2 minutes walk from the back entrance of Venice Mestre station. Take the first left after coming out & then at end of road take left again. 1st hotel is this hotel. It is on the tram track. (Not required to go to the round about with color fountain)
Review 33:No wi fii, no brekfast americano ,bed small ,bad service...
Review 34:La ubicacion a 20 minutos de venezia y 1 del bus , esta frente al paradero del bus linea 6 y 6L buenisimo quelleva a venezia. Por 2 €
Review 35:15 minutes to Venice (with bus no 6 or 6L), room is small, not so clean, blanket is very old. They want 1 € for luggage. Wifi is not feee
Review 36:Cheap compared to Venice, good breakfast
Review 37:There are all of bodies of mosquitos, in the wall in the roof and in the curtain. And there are hairs in the blanket. Wow. I can't believe it. Also, the time of check in is so late.
Review 38:I can't leave my baggage. Why?? It is so difficult?? I can not understand. And mannager was very unkindness!!!!!!!!!!! Hotel must be provide good service!
Review 39:Robby style was good. But I can't leave my baggage. Why?? It is difficult?? I can not understand. And mannager was very unkindness!!!!!!!!!!! Hotel must be provide good service!
Review 40:There's is no reception or management between ten and three. You can not get into the building. Only after knocking on the front door a cleaning lady told me that to go accros the street to Hotel Mondale and wait until three o'clock .The walls have no iinsulation and you can hear even when somebody was snoring in the next room. The safe in the room supposed have operating instruction was missing but they were in no hurry to help me out. VERY BAD ATTITUDE PROBLEM Ten o'clock in the morning they kick me out of the building. They have to change the system! !!!
Review 41:The breakfast
Review 42:The rooms are very basic and a little tired
Review 43:Arrived late at night, it was very easy from the airport to mestre station (which is very close by) staff had stayed late for my check in and even arranged a little food.
Review 44:The hotel is below average. It would have to be qualified as a purely budget hotel with the most basic facilities.
Review 45:The location of the Hotel (Next to the train station) is the best thing about this venue.
Review 46:The building is not well maintained. The coffee machine in the breakfast room was squirting on the floor and not in the direction of the cup. The breakfast lady became agitated when she had to clean it up. The worst thing was, in the room we were sleeping, had squashed nats with blood on the wall. They were not cleaned off before we were given the room. Nevertheless, there were more on the wall by the time we left, as there was a festation of nats. I wanted to throw up, but had no choice but to drag out the three nights we stayed. I asked for a non smoking room in a non smoking area, because I suffer from asthma, as smoke aggrevates my breathing. In the room next to ours, there was smoking going on, and the hallway reeked of smoke. I reported it to the reception, but did not take any action. Alsot he door next door would begin to slam continuously from 6.00am in the morning. I don't know what to call this accommodation, but it is not a hotel, I would say it does not deserve even half a star. I was very grateful to the cleaner who helped when I asked for the room to be cleaned again and she always had a smile on her face.
Review 47:When we arrived the room was not clean. I asked a cleaner in the lobby to clean it again and she did, hapilly. I asked the curtains to be removed, because they were dusty, and they were with no problems. The shower tray was blocked and it was fixed promptly after second complaint at 1.00 am. Once asking for assistance, it was given with no problem.
Review 48:Paid wi-fi, which only works in the reception area, single room ok, but could be cleaner and the shower could be better.
Review 49:Location was good. Close to Mestre station and meters from a bus stop that take you to Venice.
Review 50:The reception was extremely rude. He was behaving like dictator, all the time he was trying to shut ypur mouth if want to ask anything. Its my recommendation to nrver ever go this place if like self respect and live with dignity.
Review 51:Nothing
Review 52:The receoption is closed except the checkin and chexkout time frame. Also, i booked 2 nights by mistake nonrefundable, and immediately asked for cancellation of night, they didnt accepted. If u arrive early, they ask you to wait in opposite hotel untill 3pm..checkin time..
Review 53:Located straight opposite to the train station, and can catch a bus easily to Venice
Review 54:We had two cockroaches on the floor near the room when we arrived from dinner. The best that the guy in the reception, that speaked nearly no English, could do was give as a spray for the bugs. He went on and on saying he didn't know what a cockroach was... Undiscribable. The manager was no where to be found and in the morning if we wanted to we could talk to him but we had to go and find him in another hotel. The bathroom was a cubicule. If one of us was seating down in the toillete the other couldn't reach the shower or the basin to wash his ou her teeth/face. The breakfast was poor. And basicly the hotel was esventred. I think they started to renovate and stoped. Really...
Review 55:Se we're able to park the car in the hotel's backyard. It is not a garagem as they claim but the car was ok.
Review 56:not free wifi, breakfast without vegtables, very small room, door was like from the paper (we could see the light from the hall, and hear noise at 6:20 a.m. caused by other guests)
Review 57:good location ( near the bus stop to Venice, railway Mestre), friendy staff, good price
Review 58:Disadvantages: No free wifi (1€ for 30 minutes), no breakfast included, very very dirty room, dirty bathroom, you can´t change the temperature of the "air conditioner", you need to arrive between 15:00-18:00 to check in.
Review 59:Advantages: You can pay with card, the room has a tv, they change your towels averyday, they make your bed, they give you shampoo and soap every day and there is kind of air conditioner.
Review 60:The hotel itself was shut down until 3pm when check in opens. So The normal assumption of leaving your bags there and exploring is useless. The doors are all locked to enter the building and there are no staff present. Instead a sign sends you to a hotel opposite (assumably owned by the same company) where you can leave your luggage for the day. There is a very small old elevator going to the fourth floor which can only take two people. There is no free WiFi in the room, instead you have to PAY to use it only in the lobby. Breakfast has NO hot food and is generally stale with whatever shop croissants and bread available. There are no vending machines or water fountains, to snack or drink within the hotel but there are a few nearby cafes and convenience stores. These do close for a few hours during midday so for lunch the only option is to go back to the station or out to Venice. This side of the train station is a ghost town with nothing to do so be aware that if you miss your stop on the return bus it's very easy to get lost!
Review 61:No free wifi, even when you pay for it you have it only in the lobby. Reception works only in the aftrenoon, so when you come at night you have to wait for someone to opet you the door of the hotel.
Review 62:Good breakfast.
Review 63:I used to work for Hilton Hotels, so I know how hard it can be to keep cleaning rooms every day. The rooms are similar to the student halls of residence at my university, but this is what I was used to at Hilton. Again it was just what I really needed as I was out and about in Venice. However I did find hairs in the towels and sheets. I appreciate staff might be busy cleaning all 20 rooms etc. but Double Check every time.
Review 64:Great location. Being next to the accessible train station was what I needed.
Review 65:This is a very shady hotel ran by extremely rude staff. We saw that horrible service was consistent with other hotel guests. The rooms were dirty, filled with mosquitoes and lastly had uncomfortable beds and bedding. The walls were disgustingly covered with dead bug guts. This is not a normal hotel. The hotel locks its doors part way through the day (10am-3) and after 11pm so there's no way to get back in. You have to check in your luggage across the street for a euro per package during these times. There's no security for those bags since it is simply placed behind a curtain that anyone in the lobby can walk behind to.
Review 66:I didn't like the staff. People at the reception didn't seem to be interested in their work let alone customers. The Internet does not work on the 2nd floor and is a charged extra. The rooms smell weird and are clean but the conditions are really poor. In Poland hostels have better rooms than this one in Italy. Cheap and close to the train station but I wouldn'stray there again.
Review 67:The localisation of the place is great. Just 150 m to the train station where 1.5 EUR train ride takes you in 10 min to Venice Santa Lucia.
Review 68:Small space of the room and the shower. To make double bed they put two single beds side by side, when you are sleeping the beds tend to separate which is uncomfortable.
Review 69:Location near Mestre station, breakfast, room with air-conditioned.
Review 70:Checkout time at 10am, whyyyyy? Plus I found used soap in my bathroom. And no window in my bedroom. There was but blocked by metal blinds.
Review 71:The lobby was promising, the room was a letdown. Glad I stayed only overnight, back from Budapest, just to catch my homeward flight.
Review 72:Having to pay extra for wifi should really go to history.. Also, the bed, although new, is not as comfortable as it could be.
Review 73:Fair-priced budget hotel very close to the Mestre rail station. If that's what you are looking for this is the right thing.
Review 74:Staff extremely rude. Left luggage in hotel across the road (unlocked room). Dirty towels. No free wifi.
Review 75:Great location. Minutes from the train and bus stations with good services to Venice and treviso. It's great if you do not plan to spend time in the room and need to catch a flight from Treviso.
Review 76:The staff member of African appearance was very rude. I walked in around 11am and produced my booking document, he brushed it away, saying:"moment, moment, you can't check in before 3pm." The tone was accusing and nasty, as if I invaded the place or did something wrong. No greeting, no smile, just outright rudeness. I was scared of him during my stay. When you ask him something, it's like you are bothering him. I do not recommend this hotel.
Review 77:For Internet you have to pay 70 euro cent for 30 minit. Wen you leave the hotel in the morning, they close the hotels door until 15 pm and no chance to go back to the hotel because you don't have the key and there are no personal also wen you check in the door of the hotel is closed until 15 pm and you should pay 1 euro to another hotels personal for the same company to keep your things also the cleaning lady come at 7 am and wacke you up early to clean your room,so you should leave the room.also the portier from Senigal closed the out door of hotel at 11:30 pm and leave the hotel and one family from Spain remaining under the rain outside because they didn't have the key, they throw the stone into my rooms window to open the door for them.it look the team of the hotel are not professional.
Review 78:It was near the bus station and centre of mestre.
Review 79:- The reception is closed until 15.00, I mean... Really, really closed as in the front doors are shut. Have you booked an early flight, you need to drop off your luggage in a nearby hotel which they charge money for. - Also, WiFi costs 1 euro per 30 minutes. Very costly and in my opinion outdated in the 21st century. - Lastly, don't expect to much of the hotel room itself. It is very, very, basic. Small room, a bed, and a tiny shower/bathroom. Excellent if you are on budget but not recommended for families or children who need space. They did have airconditioning! - Breakfast was small, not much choice but sufficient to fill your stomach.
Review 80:- The location of this hotel is really ideal. You are located 3 minutes walking to the Marghera main trainstation which travels to the airport, Venice and a range of other locations. There is even a public bus stop in front of the hotel which goes to Venice every ten minutes!!! - Also the price/quality is very decent during the high season. If you decide the hotel prices are too high in Venice itself, this is a great alternative. - The staff is really friendly
Review 81:full of mosquitos... walls were dirty, room was hot and crampy and the corridors smelled bad (like when you use a lot of bleach to clean them) to the point that you could get dizzy..
Review 82:good breakfast and good location, just next to the train station.
Review 83:The african staff is a bit rough. Paid wifi and quite expensive rate. Wall is too thin. Can hear neighbors and noisy.
Review 84:Private bathroom & rooms. Near Venezia Mestre stations. Free breakfast.
Review 85:Arrived an hour before check in and were told we were not allowed to wait in reception nor were we allowed to leave our bags. No cafés open near the hotel so had to lug our bags back though the train station to the other side to find a cafe out of the heat. We did not find this very accommodating seeing as there was ample space for us to sit or even simply leave our bags. Ridiculous wifi policy It must be paid for, which we were more than happy to do, but upon purchasing 3hrs of internet it must be used in one sitting. It can not be logged in and out of.
Review 86:Great location right near the train station. Easy for us to get to Venice and Verona. Rooms were basic but clean and reasonable.
Review 87:It's not very sound proof. It's easy to hear people in the next rooms and people in the hallway at the other end of the building.
Review 88:Price wise and closeness to Venice island were good. Very clean, good air con, had a safe
Review 89:If only they could get the internet situation fixed. This is my second time at City of Art and it just does not work, even in the lobby. Do not expect Wifi at this hotel.
Review 90:It's clean, bright and excellent value for money and it's a stone's throw from Mestre station south side. The air conditioning is really good: a big bonus in July.
Review 91:No wifi!!!! After 10am (the check out time), they will though you out!!!!!!!!! Staff is helpless, room is small! Breakfast only serve bread!!!
Review 92:We were greeted in a less than welcoming manner once we finally made it to the hotel after being on transit for over 20 hours. The room was very low budget, not worth what we paid. The day we checked out we were rudely rushed and told we needed to be down stairs before the check out time. This was the worst place we stayed in Italy, and we are normally easily pleased.
Review 93:The location was convenient. The housekeeping staff was friendly.
Review 94:Very small room, not very clean (except towels), old furniture..no mosquito net (and there are millions of mosquitos), also I could hear tram and cars (not quiet street), wifi was working only in main hotel across the street and if you carry heavy bags it's a pretty long way to reach bus station for airport
Review 95:Cleaning lady was helpful and nice
Review 96:- no WiFi (only available in the lobby and even paying for it was 20 years ago) - no one at the reception before 3 o'clock - the first room we got was a bit smelly. However, it was no problem to get another one
Review 97:- 5min walk to the train station (you don't hear it) where every 5min a train to Venice goes for 1,25€/person
Review 98:The wifi was very poorly explained to us. You have to pay for it and if you are on any floor but the first you have to sit in the lobby which closes at 11. And the man working the desk at night is very rude and unwelcoming.
Review 99:This hotel was easy to get to from the train station and there was a bus stop right out front that made it easy to get in and out of the city. It was only a 15 minutes bus ride.
Review 100:Small rooms, small bathrooms, expensive wi-fi
Review 101:Nice staff, good breakfast, new furniture, free parking (this is not mentioned on booking). Air conditioning running when we got to the room so it was cold and cool.
Review 102:Nothing.
Review 103:The Hotel was Modern and Clean and Great Value. I got the Breakfast and it was similar to other 3 star hotels in Italy and I would get it again.
Review 104:WiFi cost a fee and was only available in the lobby until 11pm. Shower was pretty tiny for a typical guy - room was pretty small in general.
Review 105:For a budget - good location. Outside of Venice but close to a bus stop - 1.50E for the bus.
Review 106:Room was not clean with hair in the bed and mosquito remains all over the walls. The TV was so small it was irrelevant. The room was very simple and the staff was very edgy. The breakfast was a disaster, to put it delicately. Am not sure why this is not rated a 2-star hotel, would suit it more.
Review 107:It is close to the train station.
Review 108:Internet was not possible to use after 11pm even after paying money. Reception staff was very unfriendly. Charges to put your luggage for few hours. No information about Venice city. Shower cabin is so small that you can not move your hands.
Review 109:Location
Review 110:small room for 4 adult people, you couldn't even open the baggage, busy street, small, old, almost forgotten brand Telefunken TV
Review 111:close to Mestre station so you can get around easily
Review 112:Crepe nei muri. Televisore in camera troppo piccolo! Staff un po' 'scorbutico', mostrata davvero poca pazienza.
Review 113:Stazione ferroviaria di Mestre vicinissima all'hotel, molto comodo quindi per gli spostamenti su Venezia Città.
Review 114:The concierge was lacking in customer care. We arrived about 10pm after an exhausting journey and was told the bar was closed even though the sign said bar open until 11pm. It was extremely hot and humid and we couldn't even get a drink. We hadn't been given a departure time and received 2-3 phone calls to tell us we were late and needed to leave. He was quite rude and dismissive. The waitresses were lovely and the breakfast was ok
Review 115:Hotel was comfortable and in a great location
Review 116:rude and impolite check in and check out staff... check out time is 10am with no wifi (need to pay), not much restaurant nearby room no really clean with hair in bathroom, many insects in room
Review 117:5 mins walk to Mestre station
Review 118:Had to pay for wifi and only accessible in lobby. Shower was too small. Room too small. did not like idea of reception closing from10am to 3pm. Got there at 2pm. Had to wait an hour before checking in. No luggage storage facility. Staff not all that friendly. Had no maps available to guests.
Review 119:Easy access to bus and metro. Breakfast was good. Neat and clean.
Review 120:The receptionist was unhelpful, unfriendly and disrespectful. The person who served us was shouting at me when I want to get out to get some water at night. The guy shouted at me then order me to bed. The man unexpectedly told us to check out early due to his meeting. When we were packing up our suitcase to check out. The man phoned 3 times demanding us to go down immediately. He walked up 1 min later , knocked our door, shouted at us, blamed us for missing his meeting, took the room key card. The man did not even allow us to see if we have left anything. My friend nearly left his shoes because of that. The man did not even give us his name. Don't let the statue in the recpetion fool you. This hotel felt more like a hostel or a prison. A prison is probably better.
Review 121:Free breakfast is the only thing we like.
Review 122:Room is really small. Poor breakfast, but included (that's a plus). Staff wasn't very pleasant.
Review 123:Just 4 stops from Venice, 10-15 min by bus. Bus stop is close to hotel. You may find big grocery shop in 10 min walk.
Review 124:Except for the reception, the rest of the hotel is like a prison. The corridors ugly, not maintained walls. In the bathroom, broken kettle in the room broken picture frame on the wall. Not well maintained.
Review 125:receptionist was helpful
Review 126:Walls are very thin you can hear almost everything your neighbours do.
Review 127:Location is perfect, 2 minutes away from the train station that takes you straight to venice.
Review 128:1) Don't believe them, no air-conditioner 2) Staff are very unhelpful. Their keywords: I will talk to my manager (Said by the Italian reception)/ The room is like that, take it, or leave it (Said by the African reception). 3) Don't come before 3pm, you have to pay for keeping the luggage in the sister hotel if you come earlier. 4) Room are extremely small, toilet water leakage I have stay in 8 hotels during my stay in Italy, this is the only one hotel I give a bad comment, trust me, it is really bad. I cannot figure it out why Booking.com keep this hotel for 3 stars, I will give -3 stars.
Review 129:I can't find any.
Review 130:Not allowed to check-in before 3:05 PM; reached hotel at 2PM - not allowed till 3PM; room was quite small.
Review 131:Very clean with nice attached toilet and bath.
Review 132:The room is very small & the shower cubicle is very small. The air conditioning of the room is very slow & took hrs to reach comfortable temp.
Review 133:The location of the hotel is very near to station.
Review 134:After check out the hotel will closed so the staff did not allow you to stay at the lobby. Worst service ever. The only hotel who are sending customers out. The hotel is not worth the money.
Review 135:None
Review 136:A member of the staff was really rude and very unhelpful and told me off for something that was another travellers fault. I have never received an appology from the hotel. Also I asked for a quiret room and they gave me a room towards the street and it was very noice and although I complained and they had free room towards the garden they would not let me have another room for the three days I stayed there.
Review 137:It is well located and at a resonable price.
Review 138:Very basic, cheap and cheerful would be the phase to use here. We stayed in a hostel on the same trip and would have to say this hotel was below par with that. It is a 10 minute train journey from Venice main station and St Marks a fuehrer 30 minute walk so be prepared to make a fair journey every day.
Review 139:It was cheap. At around 40 euros we really can't complain and it saved us a lot of money especially in a city where hotels can be very expensive. It was good for getting trains (we were getting a night train from Venice Mestre).
Review 140:The walls are very thin, you could hear everything that was going on not only in the hallway but in the adjacent rooms, too.
Review 141:Bus stop was right outside the hotel to take you into Venice.
Review 142:Not cheap. Reception not opened all the time. You have to pay to leaveyour luggage at the opposite hotel. You have to pay for wi-fi. No suchthing as free Breakfast. Either the hotel or booking.com mislead.
