Review 1：For pick up from the airport the transport was half an hour late. The breakfast was monotonous. Could be varied There was something wrong with the AC. We found water all over the floor one morning! We did not have prior intimation that payment by CC would invite an additional 5% surcharge! Luckily we had enough cash to pay.

Review 3：The staff and owners of the hotel made my experience in the Maldives thebest vacation I have had to date. I had just booked a weekend get-a-wayby myself and didn't plan anything except the first night. One ofthe owners of the hotel picked me up from the airport and after a quickchat on the way to the hotel, he realized I didn't have much time inthe Maldives and hadn't planned anything so the next day the twoowners arranged the rest of my stay for me from transport to hotel staysto dining to make sure that I had the best experience possible. Thehospitality at Velima Beach is incomparable to any of the other hotelsin hullemale or any of the resorts.

Review 4：This is the worst stay experience in Maldives. We booked a two bed roomapartment but they provided merely two separate rooms. Then in thebathroom, it did not have liquid shop. After asking, they said, it hasfinished. Though afterward, they provided a soap bar. Then we wanted tosee the sunrise on the next morning. But they said they would not wakeup so early hence the main entrance would be closed. Even on the day wearrived, they were insisting to come back to the room early by midnightso that the lobby boy can go to sleep early. The most terribleexperience we had when we checked out. That morning during breakfast,they declined first to provide drinking water as they said they alreadyprovided drinking water one day earlier with check in! Then theyarranged transport to the airport. We had two bookings. So they charged10 usd each for the airport transfer and said they will provide twovehicles. But they only provided one vehicle which were not sufficientenough. To summarize, "Not recommended at ALL"

Review 7：It was amazing! My 11 year old son and I were treated like family! The manager went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We went on many day trips and also enjoyed the beach right in front of the guest house where water sports and great snorkeling were available. Little shops and restaurants were also a stone's throw from the guest house. We will definitely return! Thank you so much for everything, it was truly wonderful!

Review 8：Wearing bikini's forbidden thus no swimming&sunbathing.No other meal available as it is stated in their brochure.Staff from Bangladesh should speak English.Surroundings's full of garbage.

Review 10：Though the hotel is new & not a huge hotel, its clean & spacious. - bathroom tiles should be replaced with rough tiles or use rubber mats. -it was a bit slippery due to the type of tiles used, so We had to be very careful moving within the BR. - simple breakfast was provided before 5am with orange juice, but when I asked for a hot water...the staff couldnt provide even if i asked 3 times. He said that they only have one electric kettle but its upstairs. With such early time of breakfast, Hot water for coffee/tea is so important. But I'm still thankful for them bcoz they provided aa early breakfast for me & my husband before going to the airport.

Review 11：The hotel manager Mr. Mohd was prompt in picking us up at the airport at 8pm, as we came from our holiday resort in velassaru. He also dropped us off the following day at 5am to the airport. 20$ charge for a roundtrip transfer fee. 15-minute drive away. He was accomodating & also staff named Imran who brought us to the restaurant nearby. - manager upgraded our room from deluxe double room to deluxe balcony w/ sea view on the 3rd floor. Room & Bathroom were huge, very clean, as it's just a new bldg. Free wifi, complimentary water. He even gave me one souvenir when I was looking for one for a friend. He can offer you also good holiday packages if you prefer to get one for a longer days. - Beach is just opposite the hotel. Quiet location, not crowded. There was one good restaurant nearby, Ravin's kitchen & they gave us free papadam...and made a special lemon tea w/ honey & ginger coz my husband was not feeling well :( -The place is good as a transit hotel...or you can stay for 3-4days just to sleep there as long as u get a holiday package for different activities thru them like island or resort-hopping, diving, snorkling, etc.

Review 15：The sea view room has a lovely view The location of the hotel is excellent, just opposite the beach. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The people around and the service is very good, even the breakfast was great. A special Thanks to the hotel Manager Mohammed Luhushan who went out of the way to make our holiday economical and enjoyable. He was always ready to answer all kind of queries and was very friendly/ supportive. Made us feel like home :)

Review 16：Not a bad experience from Hotel part, I fell down while cycling on a clear road taking a U-turn at noon for having ride last in Engineering college, at last felt crossed 60. First-aid given by the hotel.

Review 17：Both rooms & wash-rooms are spot less, excellent bed & the courtesy of the staff, truly home away from home. Taking shower in brighter than full moon light - another experience.

Review 18：Language problem with the staff, they dont understand english. Lookedlike just started the hotel business. Breakfast was included but everytime we need to ask for each and everything. Pick up & drop to &from Male Airport charges were $20 where as bus drops for 16 Rufiyaawhich is $1 approx. Free Rental bikes were included but none of themwere in working conditions. They charge 5% extra on the room chargeswhich they do not mention in the bill.

Review 19：Room was nice & clean. Looked like newly build. Tv, refrigerator,ac, safe locker was provided. It was next to the beach. Free wifi &breakfast & 30 mins Kayak was included.

Review 20：Velima Beach you can reach even with the bus from Airport!As well the bus station for ferry terminal to Male is close, The junior staff very friendly and helpful,with good skills of English(Mr.Ripon) Special thanks to Mr.Mohammed,the manager who does everything for his guests to feel comfortable.from arrival till departure to Airport!

Review 34：Velima beach is a new hotel in a growing island. Hulhumale is fine to stay while you travel in our out of the vacation islands (one or two nights is ok). The hotel is conveniently located in front of the public beach and also at the end where is the most quiet. The room was small, but well equipped and clean, had also a small balcony. Breakfast was two days the same, but was ok.
