Review 9:The location of the hotel and the unexpected swimming pool. The friendliness, efficiency and trust of the management. The camel ride and 4x4 into the desert were amazing and all provided a unique experience to my 12 year old son.

Review 20:Otman, Hamid and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, even anticipating our needs, setting up our dromedary trip into the desert and helping us with bus tickets.

Review 21:We failed to look up the location of the Riad - it's not actually in Merzouga, but the next village along, so we thought we'd be able to walk there from our bus, but this wasn't the case! Still, the village which Riad Mamouche is in was much nicer than Merzouga anyway, so the location was actually great!

Review 22:The Riad was lovely - well-kept pool, good A/C in the rooms, beautiful setting, with views from the terrace & the staff were fantastic - very helpful & good company! Their language skills were incredible too - fluent in Spanish, French, Arabic & the local language Berber, and their English, Italian & Japanese were pretty good, too!

Review 23:Everything about Riad Mamouche was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we came really late by car but we found the hotel easily. Short walk to dunes which you can see from the hotel terrace. Great breakfast and amazing (optional) camel trip with staying overnight in the desert. It is possible to book a hotel for one night and spend the second night in the desert paying for just one night in the hotel. The owner of the Riad was very friendly and helpful. We gave him a lift to Rissani in exchange of showing us the market. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the facilities - the pool and the restaurant. Reasonable prices for any extras - drinks etc.

Review 24:We had a great time in Riad Mamouche ! Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and food were good. There is a lovely garden at the courtyard. You can have breakfast ( in the sun ) on the roof-terrace overlooking the sand-dunes, the oasis and the camels. In the evening you can enjoy the fabulous stars here. After dinner the staff accompanied us in making music with drums and singing, very amusing. We enjoyed a jeep ride through the desert organized by the Riad: 4 hours enjoying the beautiful views, Berber people, the oasis and fossils. In the evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset on top of the sand dunes. Altogether Riad Mamouche is a fairy tale from 1001 nights.
