Review 1：A little dishearted to arrive and find out that the chef is on holidays for two week. Travelling with two young kids it was unfortunate that we had to drive around the city and organise our dinner and breakfast.

Review 3：Loved how clean everything was, the staff were so friendly, the grounds were quite beautiful. We only stayed on a stopover however my partner has stayed there for work before previously and also had quite a good experience. We will definitely be staying again!

Review 6：Staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient. Rooms were well set up and very clean and comfortable. Only downside was we could only acess the free wifi around the pool. Very close drive to all major shopping centers.

Review 7：I booked thru booking.com was quoted less than what we had to pay when checking in. We were disappointed but at the time we had been at medical appointments all day and were not even in the mood to worry. But now I'm annoyed.

Review 9：Reported air conditioning as not functioning correctly. Had to have it running at 16 degrees with no fan speed control. Shower was not cleaned properly - pubic hairs in soap dish.

Review 12：The staff were all sensational, happy and friendly. Couldn't ask for better. Breakfast was great and loved the pool. Great job on our cocktails girls.

Review 13：The lady who looked after me on Sunday was very rude, there was a special on Sunday for an all you can eat breakfast and when I called to enquirer all I got was a loud stressed out lady who straight away said "I'll call you right back I'm busy"!!! I waited 15 minutes for a call and had to call again only wanting to know when it all finished up, safe to say we went elsewhere for breakfast. She apologised on check out but there should be help for her on the day when it's super busy.!

Review 15：Photos on the website show a gym. But in actual fact it was in Very poor condition, old equipment and a safety issue with the bench not having any locking nuts for the weights.

Review 17：We booking two night accommodation through booking .com for the 9,10 of October for a set price then when we booked out we where told we had to pay an price adjustment between the website price and the face to face which was Dearer so my question is why even use the website if you are going to get charged a different price ???????

Review 18：Good food in the restaurant. Staff were great, friendly and polite. Room was of a good standard. I have stayed here before and would do do again for work.

Review 19：The room only had one window facing the car park which wasn't overly private even considering little passing foot traffic. It wasn't that bothersome we were weary of it as we spent most of the day in the room watching the AFL grand final and it was a little uncomfortable when people glanced in your room.

Review 20：Kimberley was so lovely and welcoming upon our arrival. Very helpful service. Lovely modern room, clean, quiet and spacious. Parking right in front of the door. Lovely pool and sitting area. Great location. Would recommend a stay here!

Review 28：The dinner we ordered was not nice, we ordered the special Butter Chicken, what came out was far from this, it was peanut based and had cashews in it, along with peas, should have been advertised as a Satay Chicken, lucky I only hate peanuts and am not allergic. Breakfast the next day was one big disaster, ordered hard boiled eggs and poached came down, rang about them and was told they would fix it, when my hard boiled eggs came down they bought just the eggs in a bowl, no fresh toast, expected me to use the soggy toast from the poached eggs. Eggs still soft not hard. I did tell reception when we checked out and the young girl was quite helpful, but they need to check the kitchen especially if you charge those prices.

However if I didn't have much luggage the room would have been fine. The room service meals this time we're not very tasty which is a shame as I have eaten here before & meals were fine

Review 49：Good old fashion service with excellent staff who were very helpful and enjoyed what they were doing. Meals were fantastic. Great location close to the business centre, shopping complex. Excellent value for money with the room rate we were able to secure through Booking.com.

Review 50：There was a dead rodent smell in the bathroom, when the cleaners cleaned the room you could tell an effort was made to remove the smell however the smell was still quite potent. This put a bit of a damper on my stay there.

Review 55：We have only been to Mackay 3 times and every time we have stayed here! We love it! It is great value for money, close to town ($10 taxi fare) to restaurants etc. We keep going back because for the money that you pay...you can't beat it! We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Review 58：Crows no stop squawking. The freezer hadn't been cleaned out and drip tray was full of water. Down light blown over the vanity & the hinge broken off the door under the vanity which is all easy to see if the rooms are being attended to properly.

Review 60：Receptionist recommeded the breakfast pancakes and encouraged booking for breakfast the night before so booked for buffet breakfast ($17 rather than $22 if booked) - no-one else there. Poor quality buffet. Pancakes could be ordered separately for extra cost of around $12.00.

Review 80：Very spacious, lovely beds that were nice and clean :) The staff were absolutely fabulous. I had to leave my mum at the room from 7.30am and she was allowed later check out and a taxi was arranged etc. Whatever we requested, it was no trouble!!!

Review 84：Over priced food in the restaurant that was too salty. All the aircons in our rooms needed cleaning and updating as it as they didn't work properly. We were upgraded to the three bedroom apartment which was noisy as it was by the road and the air con didn't work properly in the lounge room and one of the rooms.
