Reviews for Antica Villa Graziella

Review 1:Location is not so good. The design of bed and closet together is very bad. Every time I stood from the bed i stack the closet.

Review 2:Helpfull stafff. Free parking.

Review 3:Very nice hotel off the island of Venice A bit far to walk from Mestre Station Staff very good at explaining bus routes and tickets can be bought at the hotel or across the road Area further down the road a bit dodgy after hours. Good breakfast

Review 4:None

Review 5:Nice Hotel with very good value to money. Only 10 minutes to Venice by bus, bus stop 5 minutes walk from hotel. Helpful staff. Free parking at the street.

Review 6:Breakfast out on the veranda was lovely. Close enough to transport to make the journey to the sights of venice pretty straightforward. Staff really helpful and provided lots advice about where to go and how to get there etc.

Review 7:* Location - at night this is not one of the pleasant places to go in. and The bus stop does requires some short - 7 minutes but walking. * The hotel offers to buy bus tickets from them. which is nice service. but one of our days we stayed there and bought tickets to the bus - we payed 6 Euro for both way tickets, and when we were on our way back, it turned out that the tickets we received were one way (3 Euro Value). But the bus driver could only sell us the 6 euro tickets. so wile the hotel returned the original 3 euro they charged, we still overpaid 6 euro for travelling because of their mistake. So make sure when buying tickets to verify what did you receive.

Review 8:the place is small and cozy. They have good breakfast. with the bus it usually took us in total about 35-40 minutes to get to Venice which was not bad (walking time + bus waiting + bus driving).

Review 9:Not a problem for us but the staircase to our room could be a problem for the less able.

Review 10:Quaint villa with a vine covered verandah where we ate breakfast, which was continental in style and included home baked cakes and a selection of teas and coffee. We had a family room with a large double bed and bunks for our daughters. There was a small en-suite bathroom and the French doors opened onto a balcony. Staff were very pleasant and helped us to purchase tickets at their reception desk for tram and bus rides to Mestre and Piazzale Roma. The tram and bus stop was a short walk from the B and B and return bus fare to Venice centre was just 3 euros each. The service was regular and reliable so we were able to spend the Saturday evening and all day Sunday exploring Venice and Murano. We managed to wheel our suitcases from the villa to the bus stop on the Monday morning to take the bus to Piazzale Roma then walk to the cruise ship terminal to join our ship. This was the ideal start to our cruise holiday

Review 11:The room could be larger. A week before arrival the hotel tried to make preventive check on my credit card. It wasn't the online transaction only some kind of different, that my bank doesn't authorize. I never met it before.

Review 12:Very nice lady explained how to get to the Venice. Private parking, but we left car on the street and was ok. About 300 m to the bus station and 15 min to Venice. Very clean.

Review 13:Room quite small for 4 of us (bunk beds a bit small for our teenagers), but adequate for our stay of 2 nights.

Review 14:Air conditioning Close to bus route into Venice Clean and newly decorated room Helpful staff

Review 15:We booked antica villa graziella For 1 night as we wanted to visit Venice. It was a very nice stay. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was freshly made and we had a lot of choices. This little hotel is very close to Venice center as you could take a 10-min train ride to the center from the nearby train station. We definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.

Review 16:breakfast is a rip off - they are right about calling it a 'little breakfast' on the spot staff is terrible, except for a blond lady. a younger girl is rude and annoying and the old guy is grumpy, too. unpleasant check in expericece. I didn't close the door of the reception, because i was waiting for the others to come - the old guy came and nervously shut it - felt like a murderer

Review 17:reliable internet air con is great clean, close to venice

Review 18:We were little bit disappointed hotel is charming outside but convenient only for backpackers, not for family people or older at all,how ever all was clean

Review 19:Garden and staff

Review 20:Was a tight squeeze for four of us. But it worked for a short stay.

Review 21:Was well located for visiting Venice. Catching the bus was easy. Staff were generally friendly. Great to have a secure parking spot as well.

Review 22:It would have been nice to be closer to the Mestre train station, but the staff is very helpful with hand prepared large maps at the desk showing where all transportation options are and will call a cab without issue when needed.

Review 23:The staff is very friendly, we stayed overnight prior to our cruise, and then stayed overnight again after our cruise returned. The staff remembered us by sight and was very friendly.

Review 24:Nothing, everything was great!

Review 25:Perfect location, easy to take a cheap bus into the city centre of Venice. Very good breakfast, everything you need and also very friendly and helpful staff :-)

Review 26:Struggling to think of anything.

Review 27:Staff were brilliant - couldn't do enough for you. We booked one room for four adults and did worry that it might have been a bit cramped but it was perfect. Hotel is very clean and welcoming. Great location with excellent transport systems to get around. Extremely reasonable price and lovely plentiful breakfast.

Review 28:Easy access to the hotel, staff is very helpful and kind, the bedroom very clean with exelent view. . Easy access to main attraction. Overall I will be back to the same hotel and will also strong recommend. .

Review 29:I must confess that I didn't feel very safe in Mestre, but nothing bad happened.

Review 30:Everything! You save a lot of money by not staying in the heart of Venice & at the same time you can get there fairly quickly! Plus it's close to a supermarket ( we saved a lot of money thanks to this!!)

Review 31:nothing about the hotel or personal. but I should say things about transportation from the hotel to venice: well, I'm from İstanbul, the chaotic city...so I could bear the 15 min. long "full-bus" experience to reach venice, and back.. but for those 'delicate' people out there, that are use to have their 'personal space' (whatever it is) it might be a problem to 'get intimate' with other people on the way.

Review 32:really helpful and friendly personal. good breakfast. I would stay again / recommend to my family and friends.

Review 33:It is recommended to put a fridge in the room. The having breakfast place is small.

Review 34:The room is clean. Staff are professional and friendly. Garden is lovely. Bathroom is big enough.

Review 35:I loved this hotel and the still of it, I stayed there with my family, the night receptionist is fantastic, very helpful and she is very organized, we arrived at night and she had everything ready for us with briefing about all we will need. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, I would defiantly go back.

Review 36:The hotel was lovely from outside, the staff were very helpful and the room was very clean and comfortably sized for our trip. The hotel was easily reachable by one 15 min bus into Venice Central and I have nothing bad to say about it!

Review 37:We liked everything - no problems - a lot of amenities including heating for winter and AC unit for summer, hair-dryer, free safe in the room. Only recommendation may be to also have a mini fridge in the rooms especially for summer if you want to purchase some food or drinks from the nearby market.

Review 38:Location in Marghera was perfect. 2 min walk to the bus station and Line6 or 6L takes you to Venice in 10mins. Friendly staff from the welcome to the goodbye - very clean rooms - comfortable bed and big enough size bathroom. Free Wifi was working perfect and in our last day the hotel was able to keep our luggage until the evening hours once we checked out in the morning with no charge. We stayed for 4 nights in number 9, was very quiet even though the hotel was full capacity. Great and quality value for your money - If you want to spend at least three times more for a similar room (probably with questionable reviews) in the city, it's also your choice. Highly recommend Villa Antica Graziella, and would stay again if in Venice.

Review 39:Nothing

Review 40:Loved the hotel, very clean, well managed, secure parking. Lovely breakfast. Very reasonable for coffee's etc. Just wish there was a tea tray in the room.

Review 41:On the last night the hotel got crowded and we could hear some noise coming from next room. The pillows are rather hard.

Review 42:Quiet neighborhood, close to a supermarket and the bus stop. 10 minutes walk to a good restaurant opened until midnight. very friendly staff speaking multiple languages. Room of decent size, very good Wifi.

Review 43:We was very satisfied there. Accommodation was nice and comfortable, staff really very kind and helpful and location is perfect. 5 minutes to the bus station to the Venice, ten minutes to the train station (if you prefer train or you would like to see Verona). By bus you can reach Venice for 15 minutes

Review 45:Second time here and will go back there next time as well. Great stay, comfortable clean rooms, great hostess. Bus stop nearby, good restaurant nearby

Review 46:Room was tiny -so only for sleeping Bunk beds squeaked, so every time sour youngest child turned around, my son and I woke up (often).

Review 47:On ground parking Lovely outside sitting area with cat Excellent breakfast (not just croissants but alsofresh fruit, musli etc) Cool bunk beds for the kids Easy walk to bus stop to get into Venice and desk had tickets for first trip in.

Review 48:Breakfast and parking were included. Staff were pleasant and the room was fine. The reasonable rate and easy access to Venice indicate this was a good value for us. There were also nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

Review 49:Not quite in the centre of mestre but no major problem

Review 50:Good location to access the numerous transport links to venice. Helpful staff, who allowed us to check in early from our flight.

Review 51:Very close to the bus leading to Venice Close to excellent pizzeria and an even better austeria Nice people, very clean, comftorble bed, we had a good stay and we recomand it

Review 52:Not really a bad word to say about this place

Review 53:Very comfortable with cosy little rooms and a very good ensuite bathroom. This is a really good place to stay for a decent price just outside of Venice with the bus fares being really cheap and the buses being really regular! The host was amazing and sold us tickets for the bus aswell as tell us exactly where to go. The hotel was also very quiet so for a decent nights sleep.

Review 54:Great staff. Breakfast buffet very varied. The room was quite big and very confortable. Wifi connection was excellent. Although it is a bit far from the train station (15 min walk), it was an excellent choice.

Review 55:We were not advised of bus ticket purchase process and incurred a fine. We should have asked but it did spoil the visit. Apparently tickets can be purchased at the hotel. Please make sure you do.

Review 56:Good location. Near to train and buses. Away from noise of Venice.

Review 57:Great value location with just a €2.40 return bus fare and 15 min trip to Venice and full explanation from the staff. Parking availability was the major drawcard and for a bargain price compared to inner Venice hotels.

Review 58:The attitude of the small man we first met on arrival at reception when he realized we were on motorcycles.

Review 59:Comfortable small hotel,Ideal for visiting Venice you can even purchase your bus tickets from the reception for the bus to Venice,, I definitely would use this Hotel again. Most of the Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Review 68:We were staying in AVG only for 3 days and it it was a love on first sight. A very comfortable small hotel with nice and helpful staff. We also enjoyed the location, farther from the crowded center of Mestre but still quite comfortably close to it by walk and 20 minutes by bus to Venice. We can only recommend.

Review 69:Hotel is located in not too good an area with very few restaurants local and I certainly walked my legs off looking. Male member of staff not friendly.

Review 70:Garden, private parking for motorcycle, easy bus access to Venice

Review 71:It is very close to a bus station so you can easily reach Venezia 24/7. There is a cute garden where you may have coffee in the morning. The staff is very helpful. We came earlier than the check in time but they made the room and did not make us wait.

Review 72:The best choiche to visit Venice and avoid crowd. The local citybus (no.6 or 6/) stops only few meters from the hotel and it gets Venice within 15 minutes. Toll-free parking in the backyard air-conditioned rooms.
