Review 2：Everything was excellent - the attention, the place, it was a calm oasis in the middle of Hakone. A must for anyone who wants to experience traditional kaisekei cuisine and hot springs. The Japanese breakfast in the morning is a must as well - a great way to learn more about another culture!

Review 5：Complete heaven for anyone who wants to escape the city! Service was excellent! Food was amazing, served in-room (breakfast and dinner). Best foot massage and acupuncture we've had.
Review 6：Wouldn't say it's something we didn't like, but this place is of course extremely high end in price and we don't have another ryokan to compare to in terms of price vs value. I'm not entirely sure if I would pay this much for the experience we had again in future, although there was nothing to complain about during our stay.
Review 7：All the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Yumi, in particular was of great service during our stay as she was our personal host when we were in our room and served us dinner and breakfast. She was also very helpful in helping us take a lot of pictures of us in our kimono outfits.

Review 11：My partner thought the couples massage was horrible. The dinner food (for a Westerner) was appalling although interesting. Thank god for the Western breakfast. I would recommend the Nobu teppanyaki restaurant nearby as a good alternative for meals.
