Reviews for Hotel Villa Adele
Review 1:Breakfast is typical italian, some sweets and coffee...you could survive, but just for an hour )
Review 2:The stuff in hotel are quite friendly and helpful, really close to Venice by bus, just 10-12 min, nice room with sunny view
Review 3:No . Was clean , every thing worked . When we used stuff from the bathroom and mini fridge it was replace . Very very happy . Very good location .
Review 4:It was close to the train and bus stop. We could get the tickets from the hotel and they arrange our taix from and to the air port . It was quite . The room was cleaned every day . Very friendly . Happy to help. Was like a villa then a hotel and kept our stuff safe on the last day after check out till we got back. Lovely , will stay again . Very helpful , very good comunicasion :) . Thank you . We enjoyed our stay
Review 5:As i arrived there was nobody at the reception and the phone on the booking.com wasn't answering, if it weren't for the second phone number written on a plaque near the door, i'd be out for the night. There was an uncomfortable buzzing sound during the night if the card was present in the thing that turns out electricity for the room. So it's either your camera gets charged, or you have to sleep with a buzz.
Review 6:Nice place close to the train station. There was a nice room, fine breakfast and good wireless connectivity. I'd recommend it to everybody for their visit to Mestre or on a way towards Venice.
Review 7:This hotel would have gotten my highest marks, they were well on the way to doing so. On the last day of my 6 day stay they chose to do some painting in my room while I was out. The resulting paint fumes kept me awake all night making me nauseous and giving me a headache ahead of a 12 hour travel day. When I complained to the staff I was met with indifference, and not even offered an apology. I am not normally one to complain, check my other reviews if you wish, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think I would book here again.
Review 8:convenient to bus stop for getting to/from Venice.
Review 9:Cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom was no good. And the basin was blocked and the room aircon was so weak to cooling down the sun heat !
Review 10:Each access to public transportation and the breakfast.
Review 11:A little far from the main sights in Venice. We left the windows open at night but lots of mosquitos came into the room so we had to close the windows and use the AC.
Review 12:Convenient stop bus to Venice is nearby. Quiet area and comfortable. Good breakfast and WiFi worked well. Good value for the cost of the room.
Review 13:Only suggestion that I have, is that they could make the schedule for reception a bit longer, at 11:01pm there is no one there anymore. At leat until 1:00am I think it should be someone at reception.
Review 14:The hotel is very very clean. It's in a very good area right next to bus stop, you'll get into Venice with bus nr 6 and 6L in just 12 min. The area is safe, and not far from it you can find some restaurants, grocery store, banks etc. Good windows, you can sleep very well, ac in the room. Furniture is new and bathroom looks very very good, clean. Andreea, I think is the owner was very kind and explaind what to do and what bus to get etc. He also helped me with a charger for my phone. I would definitely go back to this nice hotel.
Review 15:A lovely breakfast was let down by the orange juice which was very watered down. While the coffee was lovely and strong, anything more than 1 cup was charged as an extra.
Review 16:We stayed here while visiting Venice for a day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm. The staff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful with advice about where to eat locally, and about how best to enjoy our visit to venice. We followed their advice and had a wonderful day. Parking for the car was charged as an extra, but we were able to leave the car parked at the hotel while we took public transport onto the island.
Review 17:everything is very nice все прекрасно
Review 18:All is very nice: location is 15 minites by bus to Venice, very nice staff - friendly and helpful, good breakfast (different baked roll, ham, cheese, jams, milk, yoghurt, croissant, butter, tea, coffee) - in other words everything is needed. I recommend this hotel.
Review 19:The breakfast room was too small to accommodate our group at the same time as other guests.
Review 20:The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to buy tickets for the buses and the vaporreti from the hotel. The room was comfortable and the fluffy white towels were changed each day.
Review 21:The only thing that was a bit of uncomfortable is that they don't have an elevator so we had to drag our luggages up to the first floor. Thankfully there were only 2 levels. The receptionist offered to help, but we didn't take him up on his offer.
Review 22:Overall great experience. although we only spent one night there. Staff was very helpful, shoved us in detal where the bus stopps are on a map that she gave us for no charge. Thay also accomodated us with storing our luggages from 10am until we got back from our day trip (we didn't want to vaste time waiting for check in). Beds were clean and comfortable. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good, salami, cheese, rolls, coffe.
Review 23:1. Breakfast.... No egg 2. Cannot make hot drink (tea/coffe) in bedroom. 3. No laundry
Review 24:1. The staff very kind and helpfull 2. The neighbourhood 3. Easy to get bus
Review 25:This is the second visit for us. It is convenient to bus and train without the expense of staying in Venice itself. We also liked having a balcony to sit for an evening drink
Review 26:The room was very small, in the bathroom i could touch the opposite wall just by leaning to wash my face. My wife found a bug one time. The hotel seems to be cheaply made, the hallways ar tiny, the furniture seems to break anytime. The breakfast was very poor and the coffee machine wasn't even pouring coffee and had to be repaired several times.
Review 27:The stuff is very friendly and they told us everything we wanted to know about visiting Venice. The hotel is located in a quiet area in Marghera, and you can go by the nearby bus station directly to Venice.
Review 28:Nothing - totally delightful
Review 29:Secure gated parking Friendly and helpful staff 2 minutes walk to the bus stop 15 minutes by bus to Venice. Breakfast in the pretty garden WiFi for the teenagers !! Bought day pass (24hrs) for 20 Euros from hotel, excellent value for money, as many bus, train and boats trips as you ..........
Review 30:Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy location to bus into Venice. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Much more affordable than staying directly in Venice
Review 31:very clean good staff quiet area very easy to go to venice we really had good time we enjoyed it looking foward to go again
Review 32:Little hard to find.
Review 33:not directly in Venice but easily reachable by bus
Review 34:great place! Go to a pizzeria called Capli if you get to visit! :)
Review 35:Shower not strong enough but acceptable.
Review 36:Coffee is very good. Nice location.
Review 37:No
Review 38:Good place Nice restaurants nearby Nice room Friendly personnel
Review 39:friendly staff, nice room
Review 40:Personally I found the pillows hard.
Review 41:no Wifi except near the entrance.
Review 42:The stuff was very nice.
Review 43:Easy access on bus network for Venice, comfortable property, friendly and informative staff.
Review 44:Helpful and friendly staff Close to bus station and supermarket Great value for money.
Review 45:Easy to go Venezia. Clean. There is a very big supermarket near hotel.
Review 46:Location staff etc
Review 47:i never saw in my trips before, regarding the breckfast, to pay second hot drink (little cup of tee 2,5E!)...
Review 48:position, shower tub
Review 49:-nope
Review 50:-very quality and interested staff -good location(100m to bus station) -delicious breakfast
Review 51:balcony with lots of spider web
Review 52:close to train station, perfect location, rooms with balcony and quiet.
Review 53:Nothing.
Review 54:Location.....reasonable taxi into and out of Venice. Cheaper way to stay in Hotel ouside of Venice itself and only 10 min Taxi drive away.
Review 55:good bus connection to Venice
Review 56:- friedly and helpful staff, - very good location to Venezia, - fair prices, - clean room, - family atmosphere
Review 57:Very nice and cosy little hotel, very easy to get to Venice. The hotel is very clean and the staff is pleasant.
Review 58:During our stay there was some 2 nights celebration cross the street till 2am and we couldn´t sleep. We stay only 2 nights so I don´t know how often is this happend.
Review 59:WIFI was not working well but all the rest was very much ok.
Review 60:Very friendly people working in the hotel, everybody was helpfull (in English) and we got all the information about bus/boat tickets, map of Venice etc... Good, quiet location of the hotel and nice terrace to eat breakfast outside.
Review 61:Needs some cleaning
Review 62:Breakfast was good not bad 2 minutes to the bus station to go venice and can get the tickets from the hotel free wifi Free friendly employees
Review 63:What I did not like was the untiled part infront of the hotel door
Review 64:Very helpful staff, they help us a lot in transport and in sightseeing information Breakfast was delicious and great at a beautiful garden on the morning Good location for taking the bus from a bus stop next to the Hotel directly to the central of Venice for 1.5 €
Review 65:Lovely family run hotel, I have stayed here before when visiting Venice, and had no hesitation in returning. Perfect quiet location, a minutes walk from the bus stop and 10/15 min bus ride to Venice, a couple of lovely restaurants and small bars just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended
Review 66:Quiet upscale location on a quiet parklike street just 100 meters and 10 minutes from Venice. Extra bonus for shoppers, an amazing street market every Tuesday and Saturday just behind the corner.
Review 67:25 min. from airport, kind staff, very nice room, it is situated like 200 mts from the bus stop to venice ( 10 mins ride to venice) I would return to this hotel for sure.
Review 68:Out of everything, I would have to say: The A/C in my room wasn't working, but that wasn't that big of a deal to me. The beds were a bit hard, but it was manageable, as we were tired after a long day of walking.
Review 69:If you ever needed any help from the staff at the front desk you could easily approach them and ask whatever it is you wanted to know about the nearby cities. They were very helpful. The bus stop is about a minute walk from the hotel. Room was nice, warm, and cozy.
Review 70:Breakfast was not as satisfactory as we've been expecting
Review 71:Very helpfull and attentive staff. A convinient location to reach both city center and airport by public means.
Review 72:There were very few shops and restaurants around the hotel, due to its location. That being said - the public transport system is very efficient and easily allows travel to Venice.
Review 73:Due to unforeseen circumstances Villa Adele was unavailable during our stay, despite our reservation there. However, the owners reserved a room for us at one of their other hotels, Autoespresso, 5 minutes from Villa Adele. We had a great stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room had pretty décor and was a good size for 3 people. Everything was new as the hotel was opened in July 2013. Small family orientated hotel with good service.
Review 74:The staff could be more friendly at times
Review 75:The location is superb.. easy access to Venice island and the rest of Italy.. only 2 mins walk to train station or bus stop
Review 76:The staff was very friendly. Bus and train station near to the hotel. Tickets are available on the reception of the hotel. Private parking lot. Very good location to visit Venice!
Review 77:Unacceptable layout of bathroom in the single room. Toilet was nearly unusable because the shower door is directly in front, so one can almost not sit on the toilet! (and I am not so tall...). Should take out the bidet and turn the toilet 90 degrees so it can be used!
Review 78:Excellent and quiet location, very near Venice Mestre train station. Nice balcony in the single room.
Review 79:There were so many things I completely disliked about this hotel, I could go on for ever. The breakfast room only seats 12 people. So it's necessary to book half an hour of breakfast time in the evening. We were a group of 11, so that was not convenient at all. The single room is extremely small and didn't have any curtains. The first night I had a double room, also really small, with an extremely small bathroom. No bath tub, only a shower. There is no iron and ironing board in the hotel. The breakfast is very, very plane with very limited choice. Obviously we wanted to visit Venice, I wouldn't recommend staying in a hotel that is not located in Venice itself, it takes a really long time to travel by bus from the hotel to Venice.
Review 80:The staff was very, very friendly.
Review 81:the room was very small, especially the bathroom. No balcony. The beds were not comfortable (matress and pillows to hard).
Review 82:the location is great, as well as the staff. The room was clean and had airconditioning.
Review 83:the bed was a bit hard and therefore sleeping was an issue. And the first nigt of my stay there was a lot of dust on the floor, so you could see the room had not been vacuumed
Review 84:My welcome at the hotel was really nice, the desk clerck was very friendly and accommodating when I asked for a different room with a balcony. The breakfast was more than expected, good coffee, plenty of cakes, croissants, toasts and bread.
Review 85:Having to sleep the first night at Hotel Vienna, clearly inferior, due an overbooking. We arrived there at 23:00 and only after two phone calls and a long conversation, they got us an alternative to sleep. When checking out they wanted to charge us almost the same for the original reservation, even though our first night was in a much inferior hotel.
Review 86:You can buy transport tickets in the reception. The AC was working well, necessary during hot days.
Review 87:Ten minutes far away train station. Twenty minutes far away to venezia with bus. There is not too much to eat around.
Review 88:Very helpful personel. Speaks perfect english and french. No smoking rooms.
Review 89:Very friendly and helpful staff, location ok and getting to Venice easy. Quiet room and well-functioning air conditioning - nothing to complane about.
Review 90:We were late arriving but the gentleman at the desk was waiting and glad to help. He spoke perfect English which is a huge bonus. Everything was clean and comfortable. I recommend for couples or small families. Very close to bus route into Venice island.
Review 91:The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early having taken a night train to get there. The lady on reception was very welcoming allowing us to use a downstairs bathroom to freshen up before offering to store our luggage until our room had been made up. The rooms were very clean, and it was quiet. It was a short bus ride into Venice and we are glad we stayed out of Venice as we saw a lot of people struggling with their luggage over all the bridges.
Review 92:The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very professional and friendly. I had a car and the secure parking was excellent. The Venice bus stops about 50 metres from the hotel and only takes 10-15 min to get to Venice. Breakfast was great too.
Review 93:Location is great..it's very close to venice...additionally it takes approximately 30 min.s to marco polo airport...if i go to venice again i surely consider staying in villa adele again...
Review 94:Decoration a bit tired, especially carpet, but this is nitpicking! It was wonderful.
Review 95:Situation perfect for going by bus to Venice, 15 minutes. Train station 7 minutes (mestre). Breakfast good, very friendly staff. Wifi excellent. Location quiet. Clean towels every day. We would stay here again!
Review 96:No heat, as boilers were turned off for season, in spite of a cold snap. This seemed to be a common problem in Italy.
Review 97:Great staff, wonderful breakfast with fresh cappuccinos made on request, easy access to Venice via short bus trip. Staff provided informative and useful advice about visiting Venice and how best to proceed through city.
Review 98:1) The room for three people was very small, we could hardly find a place for our lugguage in the room and almost blocked the way to bathroom.2) Moreover, there was very hot in our room and air condition was turned off. When we asked to turn it on we were told that tommorow would be rain. (I don't see the connection anyway). So we had to open the window and let the moskitos and fresh air into our room. Overall, we slept with fumigator quite good.
Review 99:1) The staff was very friendly and helpful as they can be (although no air conditioning).2) Breakfast was very nice, espresso and capuccino were perfect! There is a beautiful terrace and we went there for breakfast. 3) Receptionist had special Venize map and very clear explanations about beautiful trip to Venize. 4) Overall, place in perfect for trip to Venize - bus station is round the corner and 15 minutes by bus to Piazalle Roma in Venize (further - walk or vaporetto). However, on our departure day we left Venize to go back to the hotel and than on the train when something happened on the road - it was literally blocked. We had no other choice as to walk. Fortunately, it happened not at Venize and we walked for about an hour - almost was late for our train! Just keep in mind that this could happen for planning your day. 5) Marghera is very small and silent town and it was a pleasure to stay there after a day in crowdy Venize.
Review 100:Great location: close to train station in Mestre, close to bus stop for Venice and arrival from airport, close to large supermarket, on quiet street. Breakfast had good variety of foods including yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee, and bread. Staff was friendly and helpful. Viviana was especially helpful.
Review 101:Room was warm and aircon was not working. Also there was not much left for breakfast on the first morning when we came down at 9.35
Review 102:Very helpful and friendly staff
Review 103:The airco didn't work and we had to close the window for the first night we had (with open window) a lot of musquitos.
Review 104:The very friendly and helpfull staff. A good breakfast.
Review 105:I am not sure about the rave reviews posted for this hotel. While theview from the breakfast balcony were great, we never got instructions onhow/when to eat and so only walked up there once. Beds were notgreat and our bathroom stunk so bad we never showered there through ourentire visit. Management was scarce and we only saw them at check-in andout. For the money, the place is getting old and worn and was our leastfavorite during our two weeks in Italy.
Review 106:View, location.
Review 107:Staff was friendly and extremely helpfull. Rooms were clean andcomfortable. Breakfast was incredible, freshmade espresso's andcappucino's They offer the possibillity to buy bus and trainticketsat the reception.
Review 108:The room where we stayed was small, with a very cramped bathroom.
Review 109:Clean room (the cleaning was done every day), warm room for the period (February), helpful staff, good breakfast.
Review 110:A good value, clean, warm and quiet hotel with excellent helpful, friendly staff in a position close to a bus stop with easy access to Venice. The hotel provided good breakfasts and wifi in the room and overall represented good value for money.
Review 111:Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean and quiet rooms. Calm neighbourhood. Close to the bus and train station (very convenient for the airport bus -ATVO). I will recommend this hotel to my friends and would stay there again... and the croissants for breakfast were better than in Belgium!!
Review 112:It was my second stay there its a very comfortable hotel you reach every were in minutes very very helpful staff clean you feel like you are at home thanks to all the staff we really had a great time.
Review 113:But I also should say about some important disadvantages. First of all it's a very cold room (in the middle of october), we should cover with two blankets, but it didn't help when we were out of the beds. The second problem was with one of receptionists, who scolded us for late coming back to the hotel (although there was 24-hour reception). Later we specified that after 2 a.m. it's often can be closed and we should call them by mobile phone and ask to open the door – not very convenient, but it's better than scolding! Also we didn't like that we had a room on the last third floor and young man on the reception didn't help us with the heavy luggage. And finally this hotel offer a breakfast for additional payment, but I didn't see anything in the breakfast room – only cakes, jams and maybe cheese. The nearest supermarket is situated about 7-10 minutes from the hotel (by foot). So if you want to stay at Villa Adele you should do it during summer season and buy all products for breakfast in advance.
Review 114:We chose Villa Adele for spending our weekend in Venice. Unfortunately in the moment of booking all hotels in the center of Venice were very expensive or already booked, that's why we decided to stay at Marghera. I should say that this part of Venice isn't central, but very nice, quiet and safe. Villa Adele is situated not far from railway station of Mestre (about 10 min by foot) and near the bus station, from where you can go to the center of Venice (tickets are available on the reception of the hotel). Also I would like to note that our room was very clean, renovated and staff of the hotel was helpful when we had a problem with shower (they repaired it immediately).
Review 115:Very good location for visit Venezia. Helpfull and kind staff. Peacefull and quit hotel and room. Everything clean, perfect service. Good breakfast!! Bus and train nearly. We really recommned this place for stay:-)
Review 116:The staff is very unprofessional and rude. They overreact over minorthings that can be solved easily. The breakfast was substandard to othercontinental breakfasts in Italy (including watered down juice). Thebreakfast room was tiny, crowded, and uncomfortable. There is nothingnear the hotel or nothing to do in the area. Limited options for food inthe neighborhood.
Review 117:Hotel is a close (although uncomfortable) 15-20 minute bus ridefrom Venice.
Review 118:The Villa Adele is clean and comfortable and is located in a pleasant area. The staff are great. The continental style breakfast was perfectly adequate. Our room had aircon and satellite TV. The bathroom had a shower but no bath. There is a bus stop nearby for buses to Venice (lines 6, 6/, and 66) and to Mestre and the airport (line 15). We bought a 72 hour bus pass at the hotel reception. We thought the Villa Adele was good value for money compared to hotels in the centre of Venice which was only about 15 mins away. We would stay at the Villa Adele again.
Review 119:The rooms are comfortable and really clean .The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom also very clean, shower with hydro massage. The bed sheets and towels are changed every day.The breakfast was nice (the croissants are delicious). It's located in a quiet neighborhood in Marghera, very close to the Mestre railway station, and only 10 minutes away from Venice (Piazzale Roma) . Take the bus number 6 or 6/.The bus station is 2 minute walk from the hotel and you can buy tickets on the reception. They also give you a map od Venice. Great and free wi-fi conection. There were extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe.
