Reviews for L'Antico Asilo
Review 1:L'Antico Asilo is a wonderful bed & breakfast in the little village of Serralunga d'Alba. The owner, Nicolaas, is very welcoming, and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable, and really exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of items to choose from. Fresh breads, cheeses, fruit, meats, yogurt, cereal, and of course great coffee, teas, and juices. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Review 12:The B&B is more than I imagined! It is in the heart of town and is a comforting place to arrive to to enjoy the Piedmont region. The lovely space is very large with a loft/room upstairs, large bathroom with a great standup shower along with a fridge and large windows into the courtyard. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the Wifi to plan and drink wine. The breakfast by far was the best we had in all of Italy. It was refreshing, classy and really lovely! This was our last stop on our trip after Lake Como & Tuscany and really wish we spent more time here. Each town has a castle and when you drive home at night, it really does feel like you are in a dream! I highly recommend this location and B&B for those who are traveling, enjoy comforts of home and a bit of luxury as well. The owner is such a great person and nice to talk to! We will be back.

Absolutely recommend the place. Nicolaas is à great host, friendly, helpful and down to earth. We will be returning.

Review 18:This doesn't feel like a hotel, it feels like you are staying insomeone's beautiful old home. It's not part of the castle,it's just below it, but it feels like it's part of it. Theowners are Dutch, and are very sweet. The room is simple, clean, classic, beautiful. Breakfast is included and it's very good.
