Reviews for Abamar Hotel
Review 1:Wifi very weak. Hotel tennis court costs 10 euro per hour. Expensive bar and restaurant.
Review 2:Great location next to the beach. Very kind staff providing free upgrade to sea view room.
Review 3:I have explained my experience
Review 4:Hotel is good No connection with transport only taxi which is very expensive No facilities at the beach Do not provide even a bottle of water No super store nearby Always traveling by taxi is too expensive No kettle for making tea in the room
Review 5:We had two major issues with our stay. There was a big party with extremely loud music from 10pm until 3 in the morning. When we called reception they gave us a key to a room away from the noise that was full of Mosquitos and we both woke up head to toe in bites at about 3 in the morning. The staff didn't apologise and completely disregarded this when we raised it on leaving.
Review 6:It's a great location, very clean and the facilities are perfect for fun and relaxing.
Review 7:Awful noise of the electrical substation near the hotel day and night, the noise of glass wasted carrying out early in the morning.
Review 8:the location is very nice, the staff is very kind (except sometimes too long waiting of the coffee at the breakfast.)
Review 9:Wi-Fi only in the lobby, dinner menu too expensive (for 25€ per person)
Review 10:Great location (30 metres from the beach), amazing room´s view to the sea, nice and friendly staff, tasty breakfast, clean rooms, hotel´s bar on the beach and deckchair for 5€ (second line) or 10€ (first line) per person per day
Review 11:There was no internet in the room and the connection in the hall was really bad.
Review 12:The place was extremely clean and well located. Staff friendly and helpful.
Review 13:Lack of water in the bathroom. Poor wifi and only in limited areas. Poor breakfast, lunch and dinner with restricted timeschedule. Limited help by reception people and also poor flexibility.
Review 14:The location. The staff and facilities at the beach
Review 15:Bed was uncomfortable; Shower broke on the last day of my stay; the staff didn't help me at all to explain the facility or accommodations (I had to figure it out myself); Wifi is ONLY accessible in front of the reception desk; Breakfast was more limited than other continental offerings.
Review 16:Free / Private beach access; Zumba in the water; AC in the room; facility was very clean; location is near Pula (great for dinners) and 20-30mins to plenty of other scenery / beaches.
Review 17:Its difficult to move around, the buses are not very frequently so its better to rent a car
Review 18:The please is spectacular, next to the beach, the view from the balcony to both sides (sea and forest) is wonderful!
Review 19:The food is not good and there are very few restaurant around even with a car. As two canadian mature women travelling together we found the male staff to be rude and not helpful. When we ask for mojitos at the beach bar we were told in Italian that mojitos are from Americas and that he will give us a sprits instead. When we asks for food after their lunch hour we were told to go to the next restaurant on the beach. If you don't reserve for diner you can not order a la carte so go somewhere else. The pool is too deep for beginner swimmers. The reception staff is lacking knowledge of the surrounding areas to guide activities.
Review 20:The hotel is clean. The bed comfortable. The sea view balcony is worth the extra cost. The ground are well kept
Review 21:Breakfast could be a bit better, more variable - but not bad in general. You need car, otherwise you are stucked in the hotel.
Review 22:Staff friendly, even though the kitchen was closed, they prepared the supper for us. Late check out. Beautiful views from the room. Perfect
Review 23:room is quite small, the athmospere of the hotel is not the happiest i've seen
Review 24:location is quite ok, staff was gentle and helpful, the breakfast is good and there is a good choice. Quite a nice bathroom and shower.
Review 25:Had a double bed which was two single mattresses which separated in night so good 4inch gap down middle of bed. Guy in charge of dining a bit stressed.
Review 26:Location and cleanliness
Review 27:we had junior suite, with all windows closed a million moskitos came in the room overnight , bad isolation evrywhere, even with clsoed windows and doors, all insects can come in !!!!! horrible place
Review 28:nothing should be closed or downgraded to 2 stars with a durchnitt night at 60euros double room max......
Review 29:Hotel specializes in booking Russian tour groups. Screaming Russian children all over the hallways. Things feel a bit down at the heels.
Review 30:Very clean water at the beach
Review 31:Easy access to the beach , just out the back door
Review 32:There is no Wifi in the room, only in the lobby
Review 33:The staff are very kind and helpful..

Review 38:no wi-fi in rooms, far to city (Pula)
Review 39:on clif, with seaview, modern inside (rooms), clean.
Review 40:a bit fancy for younger couples, average breakfast, man on beach with sun lounges was quite rude.
Review 41:great location
Review 42:Noise, restaurant
Review 43:Location
Review 44:First of all it is not a four star hotel, barely three stars. We booked only b&b thinking that we could have something to eat in the hotel or the places nearby. We were so wrong!!! Food in the hotel restaurant was cold and awful! Very poor menu! Don't eat anything there. The hotel is located about 12 km from a small town Pula so if you don't hire a car you will starve. Besides it seems they save money whenever they can no light on the stairs. Also the lift is very small And made of very thin metal sheet. when you enter in to the lift there is no light as well. Make sure you locate your floor bottom during a day, I had to use my phone. It's not a place for young couples, unless you want to stay in the hotel for the whole time. We decided to move to the other part of Sardinia after one night. No wi-fi in the room!!!
Review 45:The hotel is close to the beach and the view from our room was stunning. Helpfull staff.
Review 46:Time travel to 1970s This is a 4-5 storey building from the era of 1970s. - Room: narrow "double" bed - Room: mosquitoes in the room - Bathroom: sink in the bathroom is modern "designer style", but unpractical. The distance between tap and the drain hole is too small. Moreover the sink only has a ramp in one (left-right) direction and no ramp in perpendicular direction. The sand will lay there. - Bathroom: one morning we discovered that the door in the bathroom is locked (by itself?) and the lock doesn't work as expected. After 5 min of trying we managed to open it by lifting the door a little from the very bottom It turned out that the the lock is broken. - Restaurant: dinner (HB) dishes are more on cantina-level, rather than on restaurant-level - Pool: The least problem is that, like in 70s, the water level is 40cm below the pool level. More serious problem is that in many places it is destroyed(splitted off)/rusted. The final shock was when we saw one of the staff putting a bleaching powder (chlorine) from the bucket right into the pool all along its perimeter. 8-( - Room: TV has plenty of channels but all are Italian - Room: some furniture pieces are old - carpets in hotel corridors like in 1970s Summary: Value for Money is low. Not Recommended.
Review 47:+ Bathroom: totally renovated, looks nice and modern + Breakfast is quite good: vegetables, omelet, bacon (too fat for my taste), muesly, flakes, yogurt, cheese, diff. sausages, fruits, croissants, etc.. + Beach: own, 20m down the stairs from the Restaurant, some see grass in front of the Hotel beach, almost no see grass 150m left or right (unoccupied area). + Room: High ceiling, but it makes it difficult to kill mosquitoes
Review 48:We were not allowed on the beach, because he was busy with locals.
Review 49:It was nice. But unfortunately, we were not allowed on the beach, because he was busy with locals.
Review 52:The proximity to the private beach was sensational and the staff werevery friendly and helpful. Having the option of a long stay for an extra€15 was fantastic.
Review 53:The hotel is old and some rooms could be renovated.
Review 54:In front of a good beach, nice staff and service.
