Reviews for Hotel Solaria

Review 1:The coffee at breakfast came out of a beverage machine and was disgusting. I noticed that those who wanted a decent cup had to pay for it at the bar. Surely decent coffee could be included! The bathroom could have done with renovating.

Review 2:Friendly staff, on-site parking, comfy beds and good location within easy ready of beaches and centro storico

Review 3:A bit noisy in the evening due to the luna park on the beach. This is not the hotel's fault, of course!

Review 4:We liked it! Most of all - the location next to the beach, free and very convenient parking and the breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly too.

Review 5:nice owner and staff, very friendly and helpful, thanks a lot for them, our second time stayed here, clean rooms and comfortable beds, our feelings were better than two years before, also the breakfast area and the breakfast were fantastic too, we plan to come again.

Review 6:If there was cheese or ham at breakfast you could see trough the slices otherwise you had to have marmelade or choco. The shower had broken doors and was so small that you could just move a bit and we are only 60 kg of weight.

Review 7:close to the beach and the old town

Review 8:Staff doesnt know eanglish and dont have basic information on buses.

Review 9:Great breakfast Good location Close to te beach 10 min from the center

Review 10:Basic breakfast, no fridge in the room

Review 11:Very close to the beach, clean and comfortable, fast wi-fi,free parking.

Review 12:Set up of furniture limits space

Review 13:Sea side

Review 14:Breakfast buffet was good but the same everyday. Ham, cheese, prosciutto, croissants etc. see note on good coffee and other breakfast items. It appears to me, and I have noticed with other reservations through Booking.com you are going to get the most basic of rooms. If you want a room with a view, you will need to put in the comment box when making your reservation. In this case at Hotel Solaria, I think we the only guests for several nights of our stay yet we were not given or offered a better room. I didn't ask this time because we were going to be out most days. But I did negotiate a room with view in Sienna, even after I was told one was not available. I did have to pay extra for it but I would like to be given the option when booking a room through this service.

Review 15:We were there off season so it was nice and quiet. Room & bath clean. Room adequate size, had a little patio that looked sideways toward ocean. Unfortunately weather was rainy off & on & generally cloudy for or 4 day stay. It is close to harbor, bus & train station. But to explore the old part of town or go to the traditional restaurants you have to walk up the old narrow streets with many steps. There are a couple of restaurants closer on the beach and harbor and look like they would be quite lively in the summer months. The old town is beautiful everyone is friendly. We were there researching my husband's family ancestry. Cappuccino made to order and can have several. Full array of juices, yogurt.

Review 16:Absolutely nothing. All was great!

Review 17:Staff was extremely helpful. Great location: the bus which we took from Vico left us off right in front of the hotel. If your driver doesn't leave you off in front, it is only a block up a slight incline to reach. The hotel is a short walk to the old town center (up some stairs) and a short walk to the pier. The bus stop to leave Rodi was right across the street from the hotel! Great convenience!

Review 18:nice family owner, clean rooms, close to beach and city centre, good breakfast, the seafood restaurant “Bella Rodi” recommended by the hotel was very delious with cheap price and the seafood were very very fresh, highly recommended.

Review 19:Bathroom: Colour came of the wall. Location not clean. Staff forgot to give back pasport at check out. Breakfast only Croissant of good standard

Review 20:Breakfast should have more options.
