Review 1：Staff was somewhat in-attentive with regard to opening the gate for the parking lot -- happened three separate times. My only real negative though.

Review 2：Good location, next to the Gniezno Cathedral and on the same blocks as many good shops and restaurants near to the town center. Very pet friendly.

Review 15：This was our first stay in Poland which was for a period of 3 weeks overthe Christmas/New Year. The hotel is very nice (and quiet - nostreet/road noise) and has two restaurants. The first restaurantserves traditional food (which is excellent value) in the same diningarea that guests take breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful, and you couldhelp yourself to whatever you required. The staff on hand to assist atall times. The 2nd restaurant was the Ristorante Italiano which isamazing for value/ service with a smile at all times, and we notedthat local couples who wanted perhaps a romantic setting went to dinealso . The pizzas are huge and we never ever managed to eat the wholepizza. The Hotel Albertus is "fantastic value", and the veryspecial extra is that the same owner/group owns the Pietrak Hoteljust 3 to 5 mins walk where we used the spa. At this hotel it is 4 star(but not 4 star prices), this hotel has two more restaurants and againthe Pietrak family excel themselves. The staff are immaculate, serve youas a guest impeccably and the food is extra ordinary. Try the cakes,they are just mouth wateringly delicious, and the locals most certainlyfrequent both hotels which shows guests that their reputation is secondto none. In the ground restaurant a pianist will play almost any tuneyou wish and the cellar restaurant is "very fine dining",including wines that the average holiday maker could never afford in theuk. We loved our 3 week stay, we had a card and present from the hotelon Christmas Day, and we would go back again without hesitation. TheHotel Adalbertus is: Excellent, perfect, immaculate, friendly - rightnext to the cathedral, in town, near a lake for a strollbefore/after dinner, you could not ask for more. Value - amazing
