Reviews for Bedenontbijtalmere

Review 1:Let's be honest, I didn't like everything, the house boats are too old, dirty old, at least the one i got. It seems no investment done to this boats, it was also quite cold. The worst thing, it's you can feel it's dirty, things are broken. In the end i had to book another hotel in Amsterdam, i gave the key back, so in a way i lost my money. I don't think i will go back to this location again, at least while it's in this condition

Review 2:The concept is nice, the idea is good. It would be nice if the house boats would be better taken care of, specially on the summer would be nice and interesting to be there.

Review 3:a couple of light bulbs had gone so main room was a bit dark but everything was fine wifi didn't reach the boat but worked in the restaurant

Review 4:cozy and cute our boat could have slept 6 but there was only the 3 of us english tv was welcomed

Review 5:The only thing about the room that was accepbale was the bed. Dirty room, I counted about a dozen spider (webs). Breakfast only served from 09.00 hrs so sufficient food was placed in the fridge but ultimately simple. Although not too close to the motorway still very good to hear.

Review 6:Nice location and relatively calm. Friendly girls in the bar but closing before closing time and Wifi did not work unless one went to the bar

Review 7:not clean!!! We've been in 4 places before this one - this so way behind and we paid more !! Now wifi in the room Hot water finished after 4 showers Nita's we expect Too much light in the morning

Review 8:Breakfast

Review 9:The free WiFi worked only around the restaurant but not in the room. Water temperature in the shower varied quite a bit.

Review 10:I stayed one night in a cozy room of a floating house. There were no waves in the bay so it was stable with only little movement when walking from side to side. There was enough room for my road bike in the room. The nicely decorated restaurant served excellent choice of beer. The location was tranquil away from city noise with mostly only birds singing. The distance to the center was not a problem to me at all. There was a tall tower next to the hostel which you could climb up and watch the scenes. The staff was very friendly and the included breakfast was served to the table.

Review 11:A bit of confusion upon arriving, no clear sign for the B&B or reception. Our bedding didn't seem fresh and ironed and the boat could do with a fresh coat of paint. There was no wash basin, only a sink in the kitchen to wash and shave.

Review 12:The location of the house boats are amazing. We loved watching the wading birds - very calming. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and varied and more than we could eat.

Review 13:Bathroom too small and the room was not very clean.

Review 14:Quiet and nice place. View from the house boat no. 7 is amazing. If you don't look after a luxury place it's ok.

Review 15:Disappointing that only a shower and toilet.no wash basin.had to use the sink.ok for 2 people but sleeps 12.that would be a nightmare, there were showers and toilets along the path to use.

Review 16:Very peaceful.woken by birdsong.ver friendly staff.good breakfast.

Review 17:Wifi weak in houseboat location but fine in the restaurant.

Review 18:Great location at Almere and staff couldn't be more helpful. Arrived late from UK due to traffic but the girls opened up the kitchen and cooked the best steak & chips washed down with wine. Slept like a log on the houseboat and will be back.

Review 19:Main light in lounge wasn't working, or the switch was hidden! Forgot to mention this when checking out, but that's the only niggle.

Review 20:Peaceful interesting location. Great staff and the novelty of sleeping in a floating room makes for a nice stay. Nice big breakfast included in the price.

Review 21:nobody there to serve the breakfast, stood there in the poring rain the double bed had a single blanket

Review 22:value for money nice hide away friendly atmosphere

Review 23:Very good value, excellent staff, very quiet and staying on the house boat was unique. Bed was very comfortable and unit was very clean. Free parking and free breakfast, hard to beat! Will stay there again.

Review 24:Bit of a walk to the parking lot. No mirror for shaving.

Review 25:Very quiet area, yet close to highway and the city of Almere. Friendly staff. Room is cosy, yet no thrills. Did not try the WiFi.

Review 26:Not used to so much water..no barriers to stop child from falling in

Review 27:Lots to see, I travelled with toddler n there was plenty room for him to run around on location

Review 28:Could use larger towels, & not having a hair blower in the room.

Review 29:Loved the staff, & location. Very close to Amsterdam, & loved sleeping on the water. The breakfast was lovely also.

Review 30:nothing.

Review 31:very good location, quiet and lots of nature. feel like a bird in a boat cottage. very nice view from the boat and 10min walk from the nearest bus station. you can come here from Almere central station by bus about 10min and walk. simple breakfast at the restaurant is good enough for the starter of the day.

Review 32:Breakfast served too late at 9.00am.

Review 33:To sleep on a boat was a bit of a novality but it slept the 6 of us and had a shower, small kitchen and a toilet. The restaurant and bar were very nice over looking the lake. The food and beer were excellent as were all the staff.

Review 34:The accommodation was a houseboat, which I chose as a "different" night's stay after several nights in hotels. The surroundings are lovely and a pleasant evening was spent on the patio of the houseboat with a glass of wine and watching the many ducks on the water. The meal in the on-site restaurant was very good, though the waiter messed up on the order and we missed out on our starter.

Review 35:Booking.com shows that all rooms have balcony's but the house boat doesn't have one. I don't know who made the mistake but that should be clear on the website. I've booked a double room in september with a balcony so everything is alright.

Review 36:The location was just perfect. It's a nice quiet area with a bus connection to Amsterdam - Amstel, Almere - Centrum and more. My stay was much better than i expected on a boat. The shower and the toilette were clean. The price was also good , the other hotels are a lot more expensive in Almere.

Review 37:Very old looking rooms. Rooms are nice but looks pretty dirty.

Review 38:Nice surrounding. Enjoyed view a lot.

Review 39:Smell of the water was a bit strong at times.

Review 40:The bed was very comfortable and the ares was quiet and peaceful.

Review 41:WiFi

Review 42:Natural stay in a room surrounded by nature

Review 43:The cobwebs on the ceiling. It clearly hadn't been cleaned properly!

Review 44:The quiet setting with beautiful surroundings.

Review 45:Location, wi-fi is everywhere in the camp but not in the houseboat

Review 46:Nice houseboat, good breakfast, original style of accomondation, nice camp

Review 47:No WiFi in the Houseboat, no internet Not really clean Garbage didn't get emptied from previous guest

Review 48:Houseboat Waterside Staff very friendly

Review 49:Not being able to get in the gates after midnight when I arrived. It is not so easy to get to from the centre of Almere. Didn't get given the wifi access until the next morning. Breakfast is not available early enough if you need to be away sharp.

Review 50:The Houseboat itself. A very novel place to stay! The hanging basket of flowers outside the accommodation. The breakfast was excellent, The bird life around the marina. Excellent shower. Really comfy bed. With double bed and bunk beds make it a great option for a family!

Review 51:The bin hadn't been emptied. We told staff the next day and it was promptly dealt with.

Review 52:The area was very peaceful, gorgeous views, the staff were all good, breakfast had a nice variety and enough to satisfy you until lunchtime.

Review 53:I never did find the light switch for the toilet light - I don't think there was one!

Review 54:It wasn't anything fancy, just quiet, comfortable and friendly. Very good value for money and only a half hour walk into Almere City centre.

Review 55:The wifi did not connect in the cabins. WC facilities could have been better ventilated although they were reasonably clean

Review 56:staff helpful and friendly. isolated and quite location this was most likely due to fact the night I had booked there was very few other people at the site and the weather was bad, heavy rain, but i could imagine it would be a lot better if it were warm and sunny.

Review 57:In the houseboat there was only one sink that worked both as bath-sink and kitchen-sink. The shower was next to the entrance door and it was completely transparent, so the only male of the group had to move out of the house when me or the other 2 girls had to do the shower. There were a lot of insects especially in the upper part of the bunk-bed. The houseboat was very humid and cold.

Review 58:Live in a houseboat was quite a nice experience :) The place was very nice and by car is just 25 min to Amsterdam. Staff was very kind and helped us a lot. The food was delicious and the breakfast was good :)

Review 59:If you want to be near the action.. this is not for you.

Review 60:Amazing location, very tranquil. Friendly staff... just great!

Review 61:house keeping was not perfect

Review 62:the small port, kindness of people

Review 63:the shower/toilet/little kitchen were quite primitive

Review 64:friendly people
