Review 4：This hotel is a peace of luxury, it has everything and extremely friendly staff, easy the find in the beautiful Santa marguerita di pula, plenty activities on site, I booked for a standard room and was giving a superior with a beautiful large patio, the hotel is just perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Review 23：Good breakfast and snack bar/restaurant with excellent staff. Generally very quiet near the swimming pools and lots of space for guests to relax. There is a useful bus service nearby if you really don't want a car. Loved it!

Review 24：The rooms were very small, the toilet smelt, the shower didn't drain away, the water didn't work for a couple of days, the wifi was very weak to non existant. The manager gave us a small discounts for the inconveniance,however charged charged extra (alot) for our 7 year daughter even though she slept in our bed.Further one of the Stafford membera asked our Children to play quietly in the pool?!?!!!How is that possible. All in all iT was ver disappointing. We paid a lot per night and really didn't get our money's worth. We are travelling around Sardinia so IT was easier to compare different hotels and prices.

Review 28：You do really need a car. We had one for three days, which was sufficient. Without a car, I think most people would struggle. The nearest town, Pula, is nothing special. This is definitely not the holiday for you if you are after culture or shopping.

Review 29：The hotel was small but with great facilities for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The restaurant served excellent food in a picturesque and romantic setting. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. The coastline is superb in that area - sandy coves and safe for bathing. It was possible to walk to the nearest beach. This was our honeymoon and we wanted a chance to really chill in beautiful surroundings, and found this to be the ideal place.

Review 44：We first got one of the older hotel rooms that was a bit smelly, however after we told the receptionist about it we immediately received a new room, even within a higher category. This one has already been refurbished and was absolutely beautiful! The pool and the hotel facilities itself are is quite small, however the beaches are the better choice anyway. Plus you will definitely need a rental car to get around.

Review 45：Excellent concierge service, each restaurant recommendation was absolutely amazing, both for quality of food vs. price ratio as well as for location. Some of the most beautiful and Caribbean-like beaches are only a 20 minutes drive away (i.e. Spiaggia Di Tuerredda). All of the staff have been super friendly and supportive.

Even though my other half was happy to hit the water, I couldn't get in the beautiful pools, sadly. It was just too cold. You will also need a car to get about the island, which we completely loved but you should be warned of this.

She has vast knowledge of the area, makes excellent lattes and even bought in an English/Italian plug adapter from home so we could charge our phones, as we had bought an incorrect one. Everyone is helpful, friendly and the service is impeccable. We would go back tomorrow. We had the most amazing honeymoon. The suite was beautiful, food was excellent and is a perfect retreat.

Review 56：We booked Villa Del Borgo the day before and got an excellent deal on a classic double - that was then upgraded on our arrival to a junior suite. As long as you have a car, it is ideally placed for exploring the south of Sardinia, close to Pula, Cagliari and great beaches around Chia. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is decent. There are several swimming pools to choose from - we had one right outside our room with sun loungers that we had to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay, which was great value.

The hotel offered us somewhere but it was not the kind of hotel we wanted to stay in - and nothing like a Relais. We were disppointed to say the least and our faith in booking.com has evaporated. Location - in derelict looking area.

Meaningthat the hotel is situated in its own grounds, with a circular swimmingpool, small gym facility and attractive but simple public areaconsisting of a bar and reception area.
