Review 1：They charged us 15usd for breakfast, which was even more than on their menu, didn't really get it. It's a bit far from Marawila - the town, sp there's no other option than to eat in the hotel restaurant, which of course is bit more pricey than the locals. Sea is not as clean as in the South, but still nice.

Review 3：The towels in the room where really dirty and the bathroom wasn't really clean too. The room is not comfortable but practiale and totally alright to stay there one night.

Review 4：The Staff was nice and the food was very good. The location is next to the ocean but it is hard to go swimming because the current is really strong.

Review 5：If you order a beer at reception when staying by the pool, I expect to have it brought to me (for 600 ruppies definitely), not to have it placed on a restaurant table 50m away to slowly warm up. The staff has room for improvement.

Review 6：Location is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but thats actually nice in order to get some rest from the hectic life in Sri Lanka. The pool is great and beach is very close. Clean sea.

Review 7：Poor service. Lunch took about 60 min and breakfast 50 min. Tuktuk was late most of times.( 15 - 30 min from agreed time ) No room cleaning during 3 nights. Mosquitos in the evening.

Review 9：The staff were great. The room was huge and well furnished. The hotel is situated right next to the beach, which was great for walks, although a little rough for swimming.

Review 10：Faraway from the town. Didn't cleaned the room on the 2nd day. No free bicycle service as promised on booking.com (they have only one functional bike). No welcome drink as said on booking.com. Beach is not clean and nice.

Review 14：The manager would not honour our Booking.com 'genius' late 2pm checkout. The beach outside the hotel is absolutely disgusting, the worse we came across in SL. Full of litter and animal foul. Food in the restaurant overpriced and not very good. We drove along Marawila Beach road and the beach all the way up and down is both narrow and dirty. Wasted trip and wished we had returned to Negomobo for our final night. We did not want to pay the 4000rups for a late check out so left and went to Negomobo. Here we enjoyed the much cleaner beach and ate in the beach restaurant of a 5 star hotel where the food was the same price and of a far superior quality and quantity.

Review 16：We stayed here several nights with our 8 month old baby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious, we had a perfect sunset view on our patio. The property is well maintained. Pool was spotless! Special thumbs up for Rupesiri! Thanks to all for a pleasant stay

Review 17：It is rather far from the village, there is no other restaurant around, and the food was very expensive, I have paid more for the food then for the room. And it was not worth it. The most expensive I have paid in the 2 month I was in Sri Lanka.

Review 18：Very quiet, clean hotel, lovely pool. For the last days before you have to go to the airport it is perfect, transfer to the airport with the hotel van.

Review 19：The Motel we loved it. Comfortable, clean rooms. All you had to stay - the sun, the ocean, the warm gentle breeze, great food and service were available. If there were any minor flaws, that we had never seen.About the friendliness and hospitality of the owners can talk endlessly, they are ready to resolve any disputed issue. Treat their guests like members of a large and happy family. We were received warmly and friendly. Help ready to assist at any time. This Motel definitely recommend for those who want to relax and rejuvenate.

Review 22：Services are very poor with Bf starting late and staffs forget to collect plates after food even. If one needs something after 10 pm , there is no one to attend and no one over reception too. Food quality is poor with less recipe to choose. Wifi needs to be improved as well as small abbretion in door locks to bathroom doors.

Review 24：This motel is located by the beach with relaxed and comfortable facilities. My room was a few steps away from the pool. Staff are ready to help and assist with trips and any other requirements. Mostly used by travellers for a few nights before moving around this beautiful island. My stay was for 2 weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed being in the same location making a few trips out and about.

Review 29：- The staff in the restaurant is just hopeless. Although we were the only guests at the moment, the waiter forgot our order (I had insisted that he writes it down but he forgot it anyway) and by constantly reminding him we finally got our simple food on the table in about 1.5 hours. First curry, 20 min. later rice, after another reminder vegetables. Lazy, passive and unmotivated. Unfortunatelly not many other options to avoid the hassle and eat out. - For small children the place is a bit dangerous. The restaurant terasse is high and the railing has big gaps, steep concrete staircase leads down to the beach, mothballs lying around in the room. You have to watch out constantly. - Although the room itself was clean, the common areas did not look orderly, plenty of items lying around as somebody just left them there.

Review 32：Very nice Hotel and very helpful personnel. In the hotel is hot water. Food was very good. We flew home in the evening and we could stay in the hotel how long we wanted. We had to do room check out at 11:30 but our luggages was in safe and before we went to the airport we could use a shower. Thank you.
