Review 4：The staff were fantastic the young guy at the front desk when we arrived was happy and helpful. And the bar man Jarred was brilliant. Room was great with great view We didn't eat there but there are some great restaurants in the area

Review 9：The only problem we had was that the carpets had been cleaned sometime very soon before our arrival so the room was a bit musty. Opening the balcony doors solved this, but would have been 5 stars on the cleanliness except for this - everything else was spotless.

Review 10：Easy access to the hotel with plenty of parking both in and around the hotel. Room (Spa Suite) was very spacious with double access to the balcony. A great level of amenity both in the self contained kitchen with a "real" sized fridge and the bathroom, the Spa was comfortable for two people.

Review 11：The room was advertised as self contained yet was lacking essential items... like a frying pan and cooking utensils... which reception sorted out once we called them but then we discovered the hot plates had been turned off at the main switch board tucked away in the closet in the bedroom... which was sorted with another phone call but some simple instructions on the wall near the hot plate or in the information book provided would have saved a lot of to and froing...

Walk the breakwater as gym still tiny...staff very helpful and made an Affagato even though it was not on the menu

Review 22：1. Requests for early check in (12 noon) and late check out (12 noon) were both denied. I was sent away at 12 unable to check in without paying a fee. 2. I booked a 2 bed apartment but in fact was given adjoining rooms with 2 kitchens and one room was superior to the other. Nothing like the advertised 2 bed apt.

Review 23：Beautiful decor, very nice beds. Great views over the harbour. Looked like a great buffet, although I didnt partake. Nice pool and fabulous gardens.

Review 24：The "executive suite" was discusting. The carpets were filthy, the ac in bedroom didn't work, everytime you walked past the bed a black mark was left on your leg and the bed head was flaking off everywhere. There was NO warning as to the state of the room and they still wanted to charge the full $254!! Not impressed at all.

Review 26：Very hard bed. Noisy wedding reception outside by the window till well past midnight. Very small bathtub with a shower arrangement, just like in the 70s. Don't know why they got a tv in there as it points towards a wall, can't watch it from the bed or couch. Breakfast! $18 Eggs Benedict came out on normal toast bread as they ran out,(no apologies,no "would you like to change your order" and after I signed the breakfast to my room number) this is not Eggs Bernedict, it's what I call eggs on toast.

Considering they paid thousands to have it there was pretty poor effort on planners behalf and also the food for the wedding was also not that great considering it was like $65 a head . Would definitely not recommend having a wedding here ever again.

Review 53：The male at the front desk - everything just seemed like too much trouble. Only 1 person on checkout on a Sunday morning at 9.30am - had to wait for just over 20 minutes to check out! We had booked for 5 days in an Executive Room but were put in a room with a partial view of the marina. To upgrade to a room with a view (which is one of the main reasons we stayed at the Clarion), we had to pay over $50 per night.

Review 78：My recommendation is if you have teenagers you get a 2 bedroom apartment as the fold out sofa was really uncomfortable for the teenagers as springs were digging in there backs and they sunk into the middle. The main bedroom bed was fine.

Review 83：We found the Clarion in a great location, close to family residing near by. Close to town and facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Being on the marina is perfect with great walking path, and plenty of restaurants close by. Having our own kitchen facilities kept our costs down, but the hotel amenities were also excellent.

We were there on one of the nights of their seafood buffet special and they made something else up especially for wifey who is a vegitarian without any fuss/problem. Review 100：We had several lights out in our bathroom and the hose wasn't connected to th shower head properly, so all the water sprayed out of the gap in the fitting with minimal actually coming out of the shower head. The toothbrush holder still had a large build up of tooth paste from the previous guest. We reported this but only the light bulbs were replaced so we had no where for our toothbrush and a shower that we couldn't really rinse ourselves in. Not really what you expect for that price.

Review 102：Quietness and top accommodation next to the park, restaurants at the marina - fish and chips at the lighthouse - best feed at affordable costs and close by to the beach. Accommodation was excellent with self contained facility. It really is home away from home!! I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who would like a relaxing break away from town.

Review 126：I paid for a water view which could hardly be seen due to height of palm trees. Breakfast buffet was served in a different room to the tables, so had to walk a long way, several times to carry plate, tea & water glass etc. Couldn't see the view again at dinner cause the front half the restaurant was closed for a wedding the next day. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Will not stay again.
