Resort Santa Maria features attractive rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and pastel color schemes. Each one is air-conditioned and has satellite TV and a minibar.

Review 1：Car/motorcycle is a necessity to get to the beach (4km) or to the city of Orosei. Bikes are available but some of very poor quality

Review 3：location is just about perfect if you are not looking for direct access to the beach..close to downtowm Orosei and 10 minutes from Cala Ginepro by car.

Review 24：There is basically a lack of privacy. The little houses are arranged in a circle around the pool, with the bedrooms facing the gravel road. Each house includes two rooms, and the walls between the rooms are paper-thin. The rooms are tiny (they basically consist of the double bed) - the bathroom attached only has a sliding door. There is no way to spend any time in the room. What is also missing are chairs and a table in front of the houses to sit outside at night... Breakfast is ok (although the only kind of bread available is toast).

Review 25：The resort is well kept and clean, has a nice pool, and very friendly and helpful staff. It is about 10 mins away from Orosei, so you need a car. Parking is free. The restaurant area is very nice.

Review 70：Peaceful and quiet, tasteful set of bungalows. lovely rural views, mountains in distance. We were able to drive our car to the property to offload our bags. Our room was tastefully furnished and had a small fridge. Booking form suggested an eight euro charge for car parking: this was not charged to us. An excellent dinner with a variety of local dishes.The extra nine euros for the buffet breakfast was good value: a really good variety of food available including scrambled eggs with bacon, sausages and a variety of cold meats, cheese and croissants,

Review 71：The staff of the resort did not tell us beforehand that there were parking costs. They spoke a poor level of English and had no knowledge of any other languages. We were also prankcalled at 6.00 in the morning while staying at the resort. When we had questions they did not sincerely want to help, fake friendly friendliness. At the restaurant a lot of dishes could not be ordered, the spaghetti with olives was very good. The dishes on the menu were literally translated from Italian and the translation did not make sense. Therefore we asked for an explanation which the staff could not provide, because the staff of the restaurant does not speak any English.

Review 74：Hidden fees for parking, no info on cost for breakfast, path does not allow for baggage to be wheeled to the rooms which are far away. Wifi did not work (I could use staff's computer for airline check-in)

Taxi needed evertime we went out which although taxi price was reasonable it soon adds up to quite a lot if you need 3 to 4 taxi's a day. we were charged bed and breakfast when I only book a room. but as we had to get to airport which was an hour away I had no choice but to pay. Reception then forgot to give us our passports backs so we missed the flight.

Review 81：Very nice place, at the beginning when we reserved we were a bit afraid that this place and his staff will be a bit snobbish, instead they are all very friendly and willing to help you and answer to any question you might have. In the resort there are kind of bungalow and rooms, I guess depends on how many you are and on how much you pay. The swimming pool is nice and the place is quite. There is a parking place which you pay for it (prize in September was 5 Euro per motorbike and 10 Euro per car per day), then can happen that they will give you a discount...

Although it is at some distance of everything, it is a good strating point to visit all the best beaches of Orosei. There's a supermarket nearby. Very rural and nice views.

Review 94：We were happy with everything. Some reviewers found the location a little out of the way, it's about 2km outside of town, but we liked the peace and quiet and if you have a car it's just a few minutes drive. Friends of ours stayed in town and found patking difficult.

Review 95：It was excellent value for money. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the resort was for the price we paid - much lower than hotels in Orosei city centre. The room was nice and clean and faced the swimming room. The sunset view with the mountains in the background was spectacular, all adding to a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay. Review 96：The resort was very nice situated in a quit area.The staff was very friendly and helpfull, they took the time to tell their guests about the area, local receipts/drinks and we felt very welcome. The rooms are very nice decorated and had a very pleasant smell the entire stay. The bathroom was properly equiped with all the necessary things. The dinning/breakfast area was situated on a nice patio, with or without shadow. The breakfast was very well organised, and we had a dinner at this resort that also was very tastefull with some local dishes. We stayed 2 weeks at Sardinia, made a round the island trip and booked 7 hotels on this beautifull island: THIS WAS THE BEST.

Review 101：upon arrival/ check in , front desk attendant seemed pre occupied, as if we were interrupting him.When he acknowledged us (finally looked up, from his papers) he took our passports then took us to the room across the parking lot.It was very compact/small. We brought in our luggage and tried to unpack but there was not enough space to open the suite case except the bed.There was a cabinet with drawers , but you could not open them because the bed was too close and attached to the wall, so it could not be moved over. We tried to set the code for the safe - according to the instructions provided, but we were not successful. We went back to the front office for assistance, again this did not go well.... While the attendant waved his hand by us, 5 min wait. A couple had just pulled up, and he was assisting them (they spoke Italian) We watched as he greeted them.. Helped them unloading there bags to the golf cart, then took then to there room about 30 min's later (while we were waiting another couple stopped in the office as well, but left after a few min's. of waiting themselves) When he did arrive back his attitude was unacceptable. We told him that our wait was a long 5 min's. He said that was not his problem- he was by himself and had to check guests in, and he was very busy. Excuse me! But we were guests as well, and did not to waste 30 min's of our vacation to get assistance from this person. We told him about the safe, enquired about the Internet service (which is available..for an extra charge, you would receive a code and let him know in advance of using it so he could apply the hourly charge) He made a call about the safe and some one came to our room. We also had to ask for our passports back as he said he was too busy to process them and needed to make copies. The instructions were not right and that was the problem, the door to the desk (where the fridge may have been located was locked) but we were told to go back to the...
