Reviews for Su Barchile
Review 1:Location in the centre, nice terrace, nice breakfast. Pity the restaurant was closed because it really seemed delicious, hope to get there again and try it.
Review 2:Very noisy extract fan in bathroom. Restaurant meal not good value
Review 3:Breakfast good. Hotel building was delightful and very tastefully refurbished. Pizzas very good
Review 4:We had a terrible experience starting from the check in when over thephone we asked for help to find a parking place and they said they willhelp us, but when I came in (by the way very advanced in my pregnancy) Iwas met by very rude manager who refused to give any assistance and sentme out to find parking myself in a vary chaotic town. After I asked toshow mw how ac works as it was from bc ages, they refused to come to theroom. We staid in the most expensive room in this property so it wassupposed to be the best, but it was really nasty! Shower was full ofsomebody hair (not ours of course), the mirror was dirty, toilet broken, shower was tighten with a piece of rope. There definitely was securityissues in the hotel as on the door of our room there was a note "donot leave your valuables in the room as responsibility is limited".What does I mean?! The owners of this place are running a restaurant aswell, which is probably their main business. Restaurant makes a lot ofnice as you are sleeping right on top of it. So you can hear all theguest talking and dishes been brought and washed etc till 1:30 am.Thanks god we had ear plugs! I can continue for a long time. We askedfor assistance from booking.com team to help us to cancel the rest ofthe stay in this hotel, but they got back to us only after we used upall the nights we prebooked. That was also very disappointing, considering we were booking all our trips via booking.com before. Stayaway from this hotel!
Review 5:Having to pay for WiFi is really not necessary. AirCon only on between 12:00 -- 00:00. You need this all the time, another mean aspect of the stay. Having to pay for towel changes also not a nice aspect of this hotel.
Review 6:Great location
Review 7:Bathroom is tiny, crowded and dated, but for the money it is fine!
Review 8:Staff was so kind and helpful, enthusiastic about the area. We had a lovely terrace (shared) with table and chairs. We did not try the restaurant but it looks great!
Review 9:The lock on our door was very tricky to operate, even after being given a lesson by the friendly housekeeping lady.
Review 10:The location is very good, right in the heart of Orosei. It's an enjoyable walk down to the beach. There was no trouble finding free parking on the main road just around the corner. The owners are chatty, helpful and speak excellent English. The restaurant is wonderful. We had some delicious seafood and handmade pasta. Even the house wine was superb. It's worth visiting even if you aren't staying at the hotel.
Review 11:Simple small room. Very small bathroom. No free WIFI.
Review 12:Small family hotel. Good breakfast with real bread. Good location in the town, yet several kms from the beach.
Review 13:we have to pay for wifi price is for one equipment
Review 14:basic but very clean breakfast excellent some home made products restaurant is very good very good cooking
Review 15:The only disadvantage no parking.
Review 16:I highly recommend Su Barchile, friendly and helpful owners and staff, tidy rooms, cleaned everyday, excellent food and location - in the heart of Orosei.
Review 17:- Distance to the beach : 2,5 km (Google maps) and not 1 km as indicated by the hotel flyer - Rooms are not all equiped with hot tub and balcony - Very noisy from 10 pm (karaoke nearby) - Unfriendly personal - Must pay 12€ to change towels within 4 days - Some of the courses do not appear on the menu. When a course is unavailable, another is suggested by the personal but no information about the price (higher of course...
Review 18:- Quality of the food at the restaurant - Rooms are clean - Breakfast is ok
Review 19:i don't understand why the wifi is not offered for free but instead for very high charges (1 euro for 30 minutes or 15 euros for 24 hours!)
Review 20:nice staff, gave us recommendations on where to park, what to do in town and where to go swimming; good breakfast; nice room with balcony - just not very big and the modern and carefully designed bathroom was not very practical (the shower could not be completely closed so the floor got quite wet); however this is probably due to the wheelchair-accessible installations which i see very positive
Review 21:Room is a little dated and staff can be aloof at times
Review 22:Good place to stay for a night or two. A little dated but comfortable. Staff are variable. Well located to see points of interest. Good breakfast too.
Review 23:The staff of the hotel was very unfriendly, if not to say rude all the time. The room itself wasn't very tidy: the TV set was broken, the rugs were dirty. We stayed in room 5 and the only natural light source there was a door(!) of a lively and noisy restaurant terrace. There's a restaurant situated in the same building, so we got a feeling that the people who run both places are more interested in the restaurant business than the guesthouse. All in all, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Breakfast was decent, but please note that they will charge You for a second cup of coffee.
Review 24:The room we stayed had a tinny bathroom which might be a problem for bigger people. One of the women receptionists (maybe owner) was a bit rude!
Review 25:Restaurant is awesome and a must even if you don't stay in the hotel! Employees were really good and committed. Location central and is also good to go to Cala Gonone, on boat trips and to other beaches.
Review 26:The hotel was very good located in the old town, but if you arrive with a car, you have to park in parkings 5 or 10 minutes away walking. The rooms are very clean, but small. The breakfast is.. AMAZING .. but they charge you for the use of WiFi. The dinner @ the terrace is very recomendable! :)
Review 27:Hiden costs.
Review 28:Breakfast!
Review 29:-
Review 30:Location in the heart of the town, very friendly -familly like staff.
Review 31:In the center of Orosei, nice hotel and cheep (less than 20 € per day). kindly stuff with breakfast in "all you can it" style.
Review 32:Great place in the city center. The room was really clean, we had a delicious dinner and the breakfast was great.

Review 39:The toilet was too near the shower, very little space to move in.
Review 40:The restaurant. Great food and service.
Review 41:the room was too small for two people, the shower has no pressure and the guy in reception was not helpful.
Review 42:Restaurant was good

Review 49:good breakfast, close to citycenter
Review 50:no WIFI
Review 51:fair price! good location!
Review 52:Our room was small for 7 nights. For the going to beach is neccesery use car or bikes :) (our best beach was apprx. 4 km from hotel)
Review 53:Good and fiendly staff Godd breaktfast. Terrace Close to nice and very long (apprx. 20 km) beach. Nice sand and water on Osala beach.
Review 54:Too small room for 2 people(though the other rooms might be more spacious...), uncomfortable shower's curtain getting stick on your back while showering.
Review 55:Tasteful decor of the room(and the whole hotel)-perfect size for a solo traveler, very comfy bed(with a firm mattress). The owner reception lady helpful(would advice to ask for any info rather her than at the local tourist office!!;), TASTY BREAKFAST with a kind breakfast lady. The property is just a stone throw away from the bus-stop.
Review 56:Orosei was smaller than we'd expected with only a handful of restaurants-all good though and a traditional sardinian town.
Review 57:Excellent b&b and wonderful restaurant.
Review 58:The room was quite small and noisy because it was located near the street. The furniture is quite old, it would be nice if they made an upgrade. We went there in March and it was quite chilly and the only source of heat was a small electric radiator and that wasn't enough.
Review 59:The hotel is located in the city center. They also have a restaurant and the food is fabulous.
Review 60:Not the most luxurious accommodation, but spotless, comfortable and good value for money.
Review 61:The restaurant served superb food - the best in town! The staff, especially Pepe, were incredibly friendly, helpful and informative.
Review 62:Don't expect much from the rooms - these are quite basic.
Review 63:Hotel owners run very good restaurant. In fact, restaurant is 4* to 5*, while hotel is 3*. Be sure to book your table for dinner!
