Review 1：This is a very friendly family run B&B. The owner couple is extremely helpful and always has tips and advice at hands for their guests. Our room was spacious with an extra, but private, bathroom across the floor. The view over the open sea is spectacular. You just have to get used to the noise from the waves :-)
Review 2：Had to park about 200 meters away in a public space. Stairs to our 2nd floor room were steep and narrow. Our private bath was across small 2nd floor landing across from room. Not cheap, and cash only at check out.
Review 3：Private second floor balcony overhanging rolling surf. Kept the terrace door ajar to fall asleep to sound of surf. View from balcony encompassed curving waterfront, marina and medieval castle on top of promontory. Just a beautiful setting, both by day and night.
Review 4：View from the room was awesome. Bathroom was huge with plenty of toiletries. The couple that runs the B&B were lovely...so accommodating and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was amazing!
Review 5：The romantic setting is such that couples from all over southern Italy come to Chianalea for their wedding photos. The lone, one-lane street is exactly what we wanted, along with the splendid balcony within spitting distance of the sea. Nella, the host, is a delight.
Review 6：The place, the room, the view... though our stay was made extra special by the proprietors, Nella and Migelle who are simply wonderful! The breakfast buffet is full of delicious fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, yoghurts etc. etc. but the pastries andcakes, freshly baked by Nella are lovely... not to mention Nella's world famous Cappucino! There are some excellent restaraunts all having amazing views... we particularly like the Pizzeria/Ristorante Panaramico... amazing!!

Review 10：Silvana, our hostess, was kind and helpful - suggesting excellent restaurants closeby to the B&B. Be aware, there are three specific areas in Scilla. The Chianalea area, where the Veduta is located, is lovely and much less commercial than the Marina Grande section, a characteristic that we appreciate.
Review 11：We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is extremely well located and close to cozy restaurants. The rooms are very nice with balconies right on the ocean. The service and the breakfast was great and the staff is super sweet and even drove us to the airport. We will definitely go back here.

She met us on arrival, helped us with parking and the luggage and prepared cappuccinos for us and also made dinner reservations at a great local restaurant, "Pirata", where we had a great seafood dinner. All 3 rooms have a balcony with the Mediterranean lapping right up under our Balcony. It was truly romantic and the rooms were well appointed, and all furnishings and decor were recently updated. We had a fabulous breakfast the next morning which Nella prepared. This is a great coastal fishing village where you can easily walk and see fisherman returning with their catch. This B&B is off the tourist track and a great hidden gem.

Review 38：Absolutly everything! We´ve travelled a lot and NEVER been treated in such an outstanding way! We loved to stay with Nella & Michele, as they were much more like a hostfamily than mere managers of the B&B. Great room, an even greater view an everything wax extremely clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast consisted in self-made cake and fruit salads with a lot of other yummy things. We loved the little town of Scilla, even if our car was towed away right in the street of the B&B, so be aware where you´re parking your car. If this would´ve happened in a Hotel they would´ve called us a taxi. Not here! Michele drove us 30min. to the station where our car was parked which was extremely friendly and simpy a great gesture, proving again the great service of the LA Veduta. Definitely recommend to stay there! Nella and her husband are the kind of people that give you back the trust to humanity and the ability to always see the best in people. We loved to stay there and we especially loved Nella and Michele! Simply amazing! Thanks again :) Laura & Davide
Review 39：This is a great B&B - the room was excellent with a lovely balcony looking over the bay. It is within 2 mins walk of the main town and restaurants/bars are 1 min away. Make sure you print out a map to find it though as we had difficulty and I ended up going down a very narrow street (by mistake!) as when I phoned owners she could not really explain how to find the accommodation.

The only downside was a mixup frombooking.com that resulted in only one room booked instead of the 3 wehad planned on - but the owner was incredible and found another hotelclose by for the rest of our group, and ensured they gave us the sameprice. Since La Veduta has only 3 rooms and the owner was super, I amsure it was not her error.

This is the first time I've beencompelled to write a review after returning home.La Veduta was amazing... small B&B with only 3 rooms, all with great balconies over the water and views of the sea. The owner/manager was extremely kind and helpful, the rooms were sparkling clean, and breakfast fantastic. This B&B is located in Scilla, which is a tranquil but lively small town/village on the sea, and a perfect spot for our group to relax and recover with a slower pace, especially after busy sightseeing in Rome. The owner, and La Veduta's location and cleanliness, made our stay even better.

Print off directions ifcoming by car, the road you need is signed to Chianalea about 1km eastof Scilla, immediately before the bridge to the a3. Follow it backtowards the town to park just outside the B&B.
