Review 1：The attached restaurant of the same name is quite basic and more canteen like. The hotel felt a bit dated as did the staff.

Review 2：This is the quieter side of Lake Como and the hotel is right on the water's edge, giving fantastic views over the surrounding area.

Review 3：Everything was great during our stay. The owners of the hotel did their best to make us comfortable. We were travelling with a baby and they really took care of us well. The hotel and places around were very clean.

Review 4：Nightclub across the lake can be heard at night if you leave your windows open (not too loud, but distracting from the peace a little).

Review 7：Located in afternoon shade. We were in a dual aspect room, but one window overlooked somone elses terrace and found the shutters were being closed whilst we were out of the room.

Review 9：Cristina and Carlo are the most wonderfully attentive and welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. This branch of the lake is unspoilt and perfect for a relaxing break, with the busier part of the lake near to Como a short drive away. There is an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel

Review 10：The restaurant next Door attached to the hotel is not recommended. The food was very strange and over priced. I suggest you try the one about 1 km down the road which is excellent.

Review 12：A little far from any action. The buses don't run very late, so be prepared on how to get home or ask for advice- we walked from Lecco but has to take back roads as the main route is pretty dangerous without a footpath.

Review 13：The owners were a delight! They lent us a bottle opener, knife, the works due to our poor organizational skills. Made us feel very welcome. It was a short work to get to the bus stop. Wifi was fine. Breakfast was good. Parking good.

Review 32：The staff was great. I got caught in the rain and they ran to give me a towel the moment I set foot in. I did not stay on the lake side of the hotel but it sill had a lovely view. The terraces on the lake side are beautiful. Very quiet.

Review 33：Bellavista by name and situation. A very clean well run hotel that has stunning views of Lake Como. Every morning there were sailboarders crossing the lake as well as sailing boats. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast adequate. Cristina and Carlo the hosts, were helpful with local transport and restaurants. However some of the best food was there at the hotel's attached restaurant. Also a highlight was taking the local bus into Leco, catching a train to Tirano and then the Bernina train up into the mountains. It takes some coordination with timetables but is well worth the effort. If we had left earlier we could have gone to St Moritz and back in the one day. However getting halfway to the summit and returning was just spectacular. Our four day stay at the Hotel Bellavista was restful and very memorable.

The view was absolutely breathtaking from our balcony, which had railings very high for the safety of young children, parking was convenient, and the staff was very polite and helpful. The owners were lovely, they made our little children very happy with their care and attention. The breakfast was very nice. It's also located next to a restaurant, conveniently. Lots of people windsurf just outside the hotel which is quite entertaining :-). Overall, we recommend this hotel to both young couples and families with kids.

Review 46：Hotel Bellavista is outstanding! Carlo and Christina were so welcoming and friendly! Our room had a beautiful terrace looking out on Lake Como. This is a great location to stay and explore Lecco and the Lake area. We are planning to return to explore more of Northern Italy because we want to stay at Hotel Bellavista again!

Review 47：The family rooms for 4 are too small. Fine as a double room. If taxis are needed, the cost is expensive into Lecco- approx. €25 for 3km. Would advise a bus trip €2.60 return or hire a car for convenience.

Breakfast was lovely with a great choice available. The location was quiet with only a couple of bars and restaurants however it is near Lecco (driving distance or about a 20 minute walk - although we didn't do this as we opted to drive to Belagio as this was our favourite place to eat).

Review 106：Really nowhere to walk to- car is a must. Bellagio and Como about a half an hour away. WiFi worked only intermitently. Somewhat hard beds not to everyone's taste.

Still, the location provides opportunity to be at busy and fence places in a half an hour,or so. Review 115：This is a quiet family-run hotel on one of the quietest shores of lake Como. It offers the breathtaking views of the lake from, perhaps, all of its rooms. You wake up in the morning, open your window and hear the crackle of the windsurfers' sails. When we arrived we thought that the hotel was almost empty. It was so quiet. At the breakfast it turned out that it was full. So, other people will not bother you. Very pleasant hotel owner family.

Review 116：The city of leko is not as nice as como. There are much fewer tourists and I noticed some suspicious young muslims immigrant roaming the streets that worried me about my new car. I would not recommend staying in Leko. The owner of this hotel are nice people. The attached restaurant is overpriced, felt like a converted garage with no decoration, food was too fatty. I would not recommend eating there.
