Reviews for Kathmandu Guest House by KGH Hotels and Resorts

Review 1:The breakfast is good but could use a bit more variety. The wireless is quite bad, drops every 2 minutes, which is a pain if you need to rely on it. Best to go to the coffee shop next door.

Review 2:The staff is very friendly. The garden in the center of the hotel is very nice. After the remodelling it has become even better. The service is excellent, they really help you with everything.

Review 3:In a building with standard rooms (separate from newer part with deluxe rooms) - noise from a neighboring building, 2 out of 3 days troubles with hot water.

Review 4:Nice terrace inside, very good location

Review 5:High cost of food/drink meant we barely had anything other than our breakfast which was included in price. It was a nice setting but very high charges for coffee/beer etc meant we went outside for all our refreshments.

Review 6:Very friendly and helpful staff, peaceful garden to relax and escape the noise a while

Review 7:With the section of the hotel that is missing there is more road and club noise that comes through to the rooms. Not a real problem but noticeable from before.

Review 8:2nd time here. Surprised to see a whole section of the hotel missing but very happy to see the rest of the hotel in beautiful condition. The grounds are supurb and the location is to die for.

Review 9:Overall the experience was great, room was a little dusty but that wasn't an issue. I found I was sleeping with a mosquito though, had to wear long top and mosquito repellent at night. Things that could be improved, list of to channels, and information about location and time of breakfast - easily resolved by a quick call though. Bathroom a little too dark for me but that's a personal preference. I think the worse experience was being left at the airport for 40 minutes as the hotel handy organised airport transfer. Make sure you have the hotels number with you, as I had to phone them twice to be picked up. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again for the price paid, there are better deals to be had but if you like the idea of staying at KGH then at least do it once.

Review 10:Checkin - very welcoming , staff friendly Room - deluxe, good size and there was heating as it got cold at night. Tea facilities are limited but very generous with bottled water. Breakfast - Basic, staff polite but spent most of the time talking to each other, turning the lights off with guests are in the breakfast is unprofessional. Check out - easy and happy to leave your bags there for pick up later. Overall nice stay and enjoyed going somewhere that I had heard so much about but wouldn't stay again, unless I was being lazy t and didn't want to shop around .

Review 11:I didn't have a bad experience, but I found the atmosphere in the restaurant facilities lacking in warm and character - this was in contrast to the warm service and helpfulness in the hotel.

Review 12:Clean luxurious accommodation and pleasant gardens for relaxation in the middle of a bustling area of the city

Review 13:I booked a standard room judging from pictures on the internet, when i arrived the rooms were not the same as those posted, the room was tiny, bathroom also tiny. it was dull and smelt of mold. I asked to be changed as they did quite happily but the next room was then a triple room with much of the same look, the sheets were dirty and it had very little light. I again complained and asked to move for a third time, i was showed a superior room in the newer building which was much nicer and had a balcony, but again the bathroom was dull and looked old. I did take this room as it was the better of the 3 but I had to pay and extra $60 dollars for the 2 nights. we did get breakfast with the stay but it was of poor quality also, the toast was rock hard and not a lot of variety for a 'buffet' breakfast. We had breakfast in one of the local restaurants the following morning.

Review 14:location, in the heart of thamel and easy access to everything. Had a lovely garden to sit in and was nice in the evening. 2 parts to the hotel, one building is much nicer than the other.

Review 15:We paid what we that was good money for a standard room in kathmandu because our previous stay was pleasant. This room was not pleasant. It was small the bathroom was mouldy and the towels were dirty and torn, they should have been made into cleaning rags. Floor mat was dirty. The beds are past their used by date and uncomfortable. Bed sheets had holes in them. Breakfast ordinary.

Review 16:This was the second stay at the guest house. The best thing about this stay was the location.

Review 17:No hot water sometimes

Review 18:Love the garden to sit in, have a drink, read or just relax Perfect location right in the heart of Thamal Love the ambience Very relaxed atmosphere that feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel

Review 19:Standard rooms have no water cooker which in Asia is a standard in even the simplest hotels, Front staff not all genuinly friendly

Review 20:Lovely garden, good breakfast, very friendly housekeeping and service staff,

Review 21:Disparately need new beds. WI-FI is good in lobby or patio, but not in rooms.

Review 22:Nice place to stay, but double check your bill before you check out. The setting is awesome. I really liked the Kathmandu Guest House. Even though the room was not so great, Motel 6 quality, the Location, Service and Property was excellent!
After being seriously damaged by an earthquake, the Kathmandu Guest House rebounded quickly and were in the midst of restoring the property to be even better than it was before.
Very pleasant place to stay, UNTIL YOU CHECK OUT! They charged me for 6 nights even though I was only there for 5, when I called them on it they said their accounts manager wasn't there and they could take care of it "tomorrow". They said if I couldn't come back tomorrow, when I get back to the USA I should contact them and they would take care of it. When I got back to the USA I contacted them and they said "Sorry you requested an Early Check Out" so they could only give me a "partial refund". Most places are honest, some are not, Kathmandu Guest House falls into the second category. I think their philosophy is "Screw the American, he's not coming back anyway, and after all, it isn't so much money that he's going institute an international lawsuit". They're right, I'm not going to sue them, but I am going to tell everyone I can about this scam. If they get fifty or hundred dollars from every foreign guest that they think won't sue them, they're raking in a lot of extra money each week.
SHAME ON YOU KATHMANDU GUEST HOUSE! I won't be back, there are a lot of other very nice (and honest) hotels in Kathmandu.
Room Tip: If you do stay here ask for one of the newer post earthquake rooms. One more thing, the in room wi-fi is very weak, I had to go to the lobby or the patio to get a good signal

Review 23:Room was dirty when I checked in, also noisy in evening (the price of a central location!)

Review 24:Good location in heart of Thamel, really nice big garden in hotel grounds to relax in. Hotel shower was also good- lots of hot water.

Review 25:Slightly pricey by its standards and service. Very disappointing breakfast- limited buffet and overpriced. In case it's not included in the room price I would suggest going outside to the restaurants/bar located a few steps away.

Review 26:Excellent location in Thamel. Some 15 minutes walking to Durbar Square and some 20 to the Monkey Temple. Nice garden to chill out. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean. Has wifi in the rooms and in shared areas. One wing was under construction- being reconstructed after the earthquake. Hence, understandably, it was a bit noisy and dusty. The hotel management notifies of ongoing works on the website, appreciated.

Review 27:Nothing I didn't like, anything we asked for was given with a smile, was very happy with my stay

Review 28:Staff were very friendly and happy, nothing was a problem, very centrally located

Review 29:Breakfast (included) was plain but accepted. Personal support especially with Internet was low quality even if they try

Review 30:Good location, heritage historical building

Review 31:No real issues, although breakfast set up was a little awkward, otherwise, fine. Why charge for an espresso coffee at breakfast?!

Review 32:Location, room facilities, friendly & helpful staff, clean environment.

Review 33:They advertised on booking.com a room with Bathtub and Wardrobe but theroom was without these two and staff did not bother to shift you to aroom with those facility and gave me another room with these twoinclusions only after one night stay but still bathroom was not cleannor even bathtub. They did not provide required toiletries. No bath Gel , no shower Cap , No dental kit , No Sahving kit They serve poorest breakfast (except their yoghurt and omlet ) No Clock on the Wall No Toilet Shower in one of the buildings were I stayed on 2nd night Toilet cover was broken and temporarily fixed with a wire ? I did not unerstand why they charged me so huge for such a dirty room . rooms were not as clean as advertised on booking.com website They have no power back-up facility . When there was a load shedding i was told that they cannot do anything and I have wait for till the power resumes . only the main building ( one out of 3 ) will have all lights working from one generator . Anything asked was served only after repeatedly calling them again and again Poorest breakfast and very poor coffee of my stay in kathmandu

Review 34:Nearby the Hotel there is a super market where one can get necessaryitems in urgency . Their Garden ( though it was being not fullyavailable for use as one part of building was under repair ) .

Review 35:WiFi didnt work. Cold water in the shower - freezing cold. Rooms were not cleaned for 4 days we did not get fresh towels we had to ask for clean ones. When asked for an iron we had to wait 2h to get one. Hotel is under renovation so builders were basically working in front of our windows.

Review 36:Staff working in the hotel was extremely polite and helpful.

Review 37:Breakfast is a little boring! If you like to eat less fat and/or less sugar you hardly find something at the buffet.

Review 38:Nice rooms and absolutely clean! A highlight in this area!

Review 39:There is never power in the room. Staff just tell you there is not power and that is it. If somehow you have to stay in the hotel during the day time, there is not A/C and the the fan doesn't work because there is not power, inside of the room is hot! The Internet is the slowest I have used in many years. Had to go to a coffee near by to upload some pics of my trip, with the hotel Wi-Fi it would take days, literally.. Breakfast is poor, rooms are old..

Review 40:If you need a place to sleep and storage your stuffs while you explore Kathamdu, this place is okay, located right in Thamel.

Review 41:I arrived a few days before the Earthquake struck on 25 April. The kghwas a pleasure indeed. You are made to feel welcome & also special. From the moment the earthquake hit we were were taken care of & re-assured by Rajan Sakya & his wonderful staff. In their tragedy &loss their priority was us - their guests! We were gathered as oneoutside in the courtyard, where we tried to rest inbetween aftershocks.Kgh provided us with water & food & use of a mobile phone tocontact loved ones. It was humbling! Please visit beautiful Nepal &its amazing people, & this wonderful abode. You will understand whywhen you arrive.

Review 42:the facilities do not match up to the description on booking .com, the standard rooms are expensive , do not have a bath or sitting area. They also face an alley with kitchens etc and are very noisy from about 5am. Also the man who appeared to be in charge of the front desk(not nabil) was less than friendly.

Review 43:An oasis of peace in the middle of thamel, nice gardens, wonderful ambience.

Review 44:Although we had advised the hotel well in advance they failed to send a car to pick us up at the airport early in the morning Arrangements to take us to the airport on our departure, again early in the morning, almost went badly wrong again. Persistence required to make it work.

Review 45:Great location, pleasant staff and good facilities.

Review 46:Stayed in three different types of rooms, the room on the 4th floor was the most basic with noisy pigeons outside. Rooms overlooking the garden are best.

Review 47:Located right in tourist area ,close to resturants and shops.

Review 48:Staff are not professional- The receptionist lady had difficulty to believe that a black person can be a guest in the hotel.

Review 49:Nice big garden in a very central of Kathmandu but staff are not professional

Review 50:everything is totally overpriced. My room got windows out of the front. Windows didn't close. There is a reggae club in the neighborhood so I needed earplugs to sleep. Not acceptable for this price. Also I got double charged for the airport pickup.

Review 51:It was clean and the backyard was nice

Review 52:I have visited Kathmandu on numerous occasions and had always wanted to stay in KGH unfortunately it did NOT live up to my expectations AT ALL :( 1. I was stared at and followed by Indian tourists in the foyer and to my room (not ideal when travelling alone) 2. Aformentioned gentlemen played loud music and kept me awake depite my making lots of complaints. 3. My room was next to the generator and the shaking kept me awake (do not book 407).

Review 53:1. To their credit KGH moved my room - albeit at 1:30am after lots of complaints :( 2. Breakfast was great! 3. Some other lovely guests that I met whilst there. 4. The grounds are beautiful 5. Location is fantastic

Review 54:The bed was really hard.

Review 55:Wifi network was good. Location was excellent. Staff were friendly. Garden area to relax in really nice, clean and peaceful. Restaurant good.

Review 56:The hotel had a very unwelcoming feel as soon as we arrived to the minute we left. Rude and very unfriendly, overpriced, a terrible attitude from staff

Review 57:The bed was comfortable.

Review 58:Just wished I had a balcony room...

Review 59:The location was superb as well as the security. Very nice restaurant and grounds to sit and relax. Love the garden area!

Review 60:The deluxe room was big but other than that was nothing special. The shower was a bit broken. We had many problems with the wifi.

Review 61:The location is excellent. The garden is great to sit in with a book or drink. There was a huge mix of different types of people staying here. They collected us from the airport free of charge.

Review 62:Snacks and drinks are way to expensive. Staff could be more helpful.

Review 63:Perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and dining in Thamel. Wonderful garden. Lift!

Review 64:See last box.

Review 65:The front desk staff were rather miserable, but this was more than compensated for by the bedroom attendant.,who was friendly and attentive.

Review 66:Not value if you are seasoned traveller. Manager and front office staff useless. Asked for bath was told $10 upgrade I said fine. They then realised I booked through bookings and suddenly room was not available as they wanted $169 and I said no its $106 with upgrade. Manager intervened and lies developed further. I asked him if he read special request from booking and he rather ignored the question. Suddenly a deluxe with bath was found. Such a faff for a simple tub which caught people out in their deceit. Most unprofessional

Review 67:Room nice and big and bed wonderful. Security and f&b staff wonderful. Location ideal.

Review 68:Great staff, always helpful & friendly, love the location in the middle of Thamel. Room was basic but perfect for me...if you want 7 star...go to Dubai, UAE or somewhere like that, if you want real life....go to Kathmandu...Awesome!!!

Review 69:-staff did not seem overly interested in providing good experience -cold rooms, had to request extra blankets several times -had to request water every day that was supposed to be included with room -when I booked a tour through the hotel, I was pressured to pay with cash, even though they accepted credit card, I suspect because the staff member making the booking would receive a cut. I paid by credit card.

Review 70:-good location -manager remembered my name -free airport pickup (international only) -good wifi connection

Review 71:I wish I had some sort of reply to my emails. I asked for airport pick up - via booking.com - and was never confirmed. I sent an email about my missed connection and got no reply so the guy had to wait for me the whole afternoon... :(

Review 72:The airport pick up is fantastic. The position is extremely strategic both if you want to take a look around kathmandu or if you want to simply stay overnight. The restaurant in the courtyard is also super.

Review 73:We asked for a room with a double bed, however received two singles.

Review 74:Location was very central. Amazing air-conditioning system Bathroom facilities the best I have come across in Nepal

Review 75:Staff at reception not friendly breakfast limited (no fresh fruit juices) and alway same Old part of hotel to be refreshed

Review 76:Central location Hot water shower Quiet room new aisle Secured hotel

Review 77:The furniture and very dated bedrooms. Certainly could do with a makeover/upgrade. The sewerage being siphoned out in broad daylight especially when there were so many people coming in and going out. This was definitely very gross as there was residue everywhere along the main entrance to the hotel and became an obstacle course. Perhaps some prior warning to all the guests would've been greatly appreciated. The sight of sewer tanks left open and the smell from it was a major put off.

Review 78:We loved the location as this hotel is right smack dab in the middle of Kathmandu with lots of shops and great restaurants in close proximity. Friendly staff, very helpful and very polite.

Review 79:We were booked in a room in the old part of the building on the top floor which had a musty/moldy smell; ask for a room in a lower floor or in the other building. We changed our room the next day which was much better.

Review 80:The hotel has a great location, it is situated in the middle of Thamel. Breakfast is recommended as well. The manager is really friendly and attentive, staff is good as well.

Review 81:There are no lifts in the old wing of the hotel, so if travelling with the elderly or infirm, best to request a ground floor room or upgrade to the new wing.

Review 82:Hotel manager was exceedingly helpful, and the food outlets within the hotel are very reasonably priced with very good food.

Review 83:I booked the room for one large bed but i ended up with two small beds. That was really annoying and uncomfortable. Wifi connection inside the room was poor.

Review 84:nothing.

Review 85:The wonderful staff who were so kind to us, including Nabin and the lovely woman on reception who helped us change rooms. The garden was beautiful and we spent most afternoons running into the side streets around KGH shopping and eating! Our room was outstanding and one of the best moments was having a cup of tea on the balcony and dreaming.

Review 86:While me and my wife were walking from outside on the new years eve to the hotel, the guard at the guesthouse asked if we were staying at the property or not and then asked for our room number, as if South Asian people doesn't or can't afford staying in KGH which irritated me a lot Room wall has damped in the economic wing Canned juice in the breakfast in such property is not expected We requested twice for cleaning the room but unfortunately it was not done i couldn't loggin to the wifi during our entire 3 days of stay though my wife's one did placement of the commode is quite cramped for a person to sit properly

Review 87:Location is at the heart of Thamel Nice garden and drive way inside Warm reception during winter Smiling doorman/woman at any time of the day 24 hours hot water TV and room light during the power outage time was good to have

Review 88:the category of the rooms as offered on booking.com is totally obscure. Low rate rooms have breakfast inclusive, some higher don't. You can leave a note that you'd prefer a bathtub and a room on a higher floor. But when you get there, nobody knows about that and puts you in a room with no sink in the bathroom and only cold water in a kind of a living room sink. All electricity outlets are so shaky that they hold neither a plug nor an adapter.. The so-called garden view hides behind kind of a backdoor whereas all the other windows face a noisy courtyard. This then is called an upgrade or a special rate. I am not complaining about load shedding as one has to accept that in Nepal. But I'd rather pay higher rate and know more details about the rooms and know what is to be expected.

Review 89:Good and quick support in problematic situations. Part of thecstaff is extremely friendly and attentive. The location in Thamel is wonderful and has a good infrastructure

Review 90:The wifi didn't work in my room so had to go to reception to use it.. Also our room was damp possibly due to no electricity and no heat then to air the room..

Review 91:Very central location and the staff were very very helpful and friendly..

Review 92:Characterless place like any chain in rest of the world. Nice garden but always packed with large groups of people. Eddible breakfast but not as good as much smaller hotels.

Review 93:Location Cleanliness

Review 94:Pricy as a comparison; I was assigned ( was not asked for a preference) a smoking smelly room as a non smoker, asked to move, took time but I was moved to a different room. Tired furnishings need an uplift; need an efficient heating system for the winter; multiple confusing telephone numbers for various services, however not stated properly who is responsible for what and their operating hours: took me 3 calls to different teams and 40 min to get an additional blanket.

Review 95:All a traveller might need under one roof, security, beautiful garden, Cosy bonfire in the restaurant area

Review 96:we didn't know that the hotel has two parts, we stayed in the older one, heating in the room was a problem, bathroom needs renovation, bed linen not clean

Review 97:location, friendly staff, cheap

Review 98:On return room small, run-down and not clean. Specifically beds not made with clean sheets and wet towels left behind.

Review 99:Stayed here once at start, good room, clean and well appointed.

Review 100:The front desk was usually staffed with 5-8 where only 1 person was able to give adequate information. Booked a quite room in advance, what they provide was a corner room with inhouse construction from one side and life music from the other side. Heating did not work and windows were broken. Changed the room were Heating was broken and only ice cold water was running. Booked hotel taxi to the airport did not provide and front desk manager wasn't a great help to solve this. Breakfast buffet !

Review 101:Good location and fabulous fresh coffe

Review 102:i spent 3 nights in this hotel 1st 2 the room was smelly, not very clean and facing the wall, 3rd night i asked an upgrade and paid extra but i had a very nice room, also their garden is very nice and the food is good

Review 103:Lets start from the beginging. There were no promissed pick up from the airport, even we requested for it online and 2 times over the phone, no one came to pick us up from the airport. And no one apologized for not coming as well. The room was far from what was on the photo. Was strong smell of fungus all over the hotel and specially our room. The towels and beddings were so old, dark grey color. Wifi didnt reach our room. We couldnt charge anything in our room, all chargers were falling from the sockets. We had to leave them on reception to charge. The hotel literally falling apart and to charge minimum 80 usd per night is a real rip off! Staff wasnt helpful, if you come with any complain they will answer "our manager is not here, come later". U can come any time but no obe will help u. Only security woman at the entrance and some simple staff, waiters were nice. I really regret we choosed that hotel was a big mess. After we moved to a new hotel close to airport for half price haf amazing comfort!!!

Review 104:I will be honest, i didnt really like anything there

Review 105:Food could be better

Review 106:the attentiveness and friendliness of all staff - the great location - though getting out of the narrow roads by taxi to other places take time.. especially when going to the airport.. take at least oneandahalf hours...

Review 107:Felt a bit stuffy and was probably more suited to the older clients it had staying there. And breakfast was a bit disappointing. But no real complaints. More of an observation.

Review 108:Location was brilliant. Staff were very helpful.

Review 109:KGH is in the largest hotel in centre of Thamel - it attracts big tourist and trekking groups, catering well for western tastes and expectations - not so great if you want a real sense of the country.

Review 110:Everyone knows KGH in Kathmandu. It's easy to get to and from, it's facilities are great and the staff helpful. Hotel is an easy place to start your time in Nepal if you are new to the country.

Review 111:Beds are a bit hard.

Review 112:The location can't be beat - right in the heart of all the action. But the hotel is tucked away inside a courtyard and is a peaceful oasis of old world charm.

Review 113:My stay was too short.

Review 114:Staff; Book store owner/guide and driver; Beautiful room with balcony overlooking inner city oasis and garden; Hotel shop of womens' collaborative Beni; Dining.

Review 115:Nothing.

Review 116:We arrived and booked a standard room but after sitting in it for 5 minutes thought let's look at the upgrade. More than we wanted to spend but I'll be back ASAP and be booking the same upgrade! Great mattress lots of water and a air con plus beautiful garden view. Ask for airport pickup too just leave a tip. The location is perfect right in the heart with a garden oasis to escape to. The people are the best I've ever met in 24 countries I've been to. You must haggle but we met a tuk tuk driver who took us to his company (which was a hole in the ground so poor) and they gave us free tea and offered food. We ended up asking to go back and only using the same guy Om, we gave the kids presents and taught them to play uno. So smart! Tipped him $20 instead if the $1.20 he quoted us the day before and he cried in the street. We told him to go visit his kids who lived 6 hours away.

Review 117:I was disappointed with the WiFi connection. It was dropping all the time and I actually preferred to use it in restaurants than at hotel, as the restaurants had it more reliable.

Review 118:Workers are very friendly and helpful

Review 119:some of the food was a bit to spicy for us, but we loved everything else.

Review 120:Uttam Thuyal was always so jolly, helpful and always trying to make our stay good. he is such a excellent person to have in the front, we really liked him.

Review 121:Breakfast is located at entrance where all guests check in and out. Also staff entrance where laundry is offloaded. The quiet garden would be a perfect location to serve breakfast.

Review 122:Location is excellent!

Review 123:Brilliant helpful staff, assisted us greatly when we needed emergency medical care by coming to hospital with us. Lovey location, fantastic facilities. An escape in the heart of the hustle of Kathmandu

Review 124:would be good to have more internet access - may be go to 4 or 5 stations at the buisness centre instead of 2.

Review 125:This is an excellent base for kathmandu Excellent, staff, facilities, location and value for money. There is clearly a lot of money being spent on renovations, which are being done to an excellent standard. Very nice quiet garden as well

Review 126:No elevators. Power breakdowns for 6 to 12 hours, during which fans don't work. No bath slippers in the room. Bar (Fridge), complementary tea / coffee and locker are not provided in the room. No great views from the room.

Review 127:The hotel is not so great, certainly not for many who have experienced far better 4 star hotels elsewhere in the world. It is certainly not a 4 star hotel. However, when you compare it with other hotels in Kathmandu, even one 5 star hotel, I stayed in, its not that so bad either. Particularly its location is central. Buffet Breakfast was a convenience. Hotel Manager is very friendly and helpful.

Review 128:The room was cramped and bathroom tiny. The biggest problem was that the generator was not turned on to run the fans during a power cut in the afternoon when it was very hot and still.

Review 129:This hotel is good for the younger, budget traveler, set ideally in the heart of the tourist district where there is a buzz of nightlife. The staff are very friendly and chatty and make you feel comfortable

Review 130:Breakfast was totaly not good, Price was expensive for what you got, First night they put me in a room fully with cockroatches and after telling the reciption, the gentlmen seems was knowing the problem of the room and he changed it directly !!! Fans was not connected to the generator so when electicity goes down you escape from your room because of the hot and humadity Unfortunately not recomended for me next time and for the other travellers

Review 131:SfriendlySome of the staff was very friendly, location was in the heart of kathmandu and the garden was nice

Review 132:Pokey room Window opposite from another premises so had to keep curtains closed. Reception staff did not seem to be bothered too much. Porters did not help myself or another young woman to carry bags. She fell trying to get into a half opened front door. Taken to 'my' room to find that there was already someone in it. First breakfast morning embarrassed to be told in-front of others that I had to pay for it when it was already included in the prepaid costs. Room overpriced.

Review 133:Barber, postbox.

Review 134:wifi no fridge in the room electricity going all the time (i know it happens in nepal, but other hotels have generators to avoid lack of electricity)

Review 135:location safety good breakfast

Review 136:small standard rooms and some don't have natural light in the bathrooms, Breakfast - not a lot of choice and the food is really greasy. No complimentary water in the standard rooms

Review 137:Friendly staff The small shopping arcade with has everything except a supermarket The location is perfect Great garden area

Review 138:My husband and I took 5 days off for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was heavenly! KGH was a fairytale setting. Staff went way beyond the call of duty to serve us. Clean, quiet, tranquil and more for ones money. We highly recommend

Review 139:Mediocre breakfast. Really needs to b improved. Frankly food ws terrible n overpriced.

Review 140:Friendly helpful staff n the aromatherapy in lobby. Love smells. Also Aircondition for hot days n gd power supply n no power curfews.

Review 141:Staff is not give respect trvels not good campar to hotel senkar 25% Hotel rents hi but staff not good brek fast no good staff no say namaste in any divesen . Hotel senkar and midiel path(pokara)is good

Review 142:Rooms good

Review 143:We had booked a non ac room, the only down side of it was that during power cuts which i think is very usual in Nepal, KTH only provided with a light but no back up to fan. I think the management should at least provide back up for fans as well, otherwise we are forced to stay outside the hotel during power cut hours which is around 6 to 8 hours in a day.

Review 144:Even though located in a lively location once you are inside the premises its a good silence and hence you feel peaceful, the garden is also good place to spend some time. The staff to is very helpful.
