Review 1：TV set out of order, but I didn't need it so much.

Review 5：Its propably good for business people but for travelers or families its a little in the middle of nowhere. We eather think that the restaurant and breakfast is a little too expensive. There was no window or dunst-sucker (dont know the right word in english) and a little malty spot in the bathroom. No light on the floor. But this is all complaining on a high level.

Review 8：Interesting experience - a town that did not exist a short time ago. Easy parking, good value for money, quiet area. Almere has good connection to Amsterdam (which was the reason we chose the hotel), though it is a bit of a walk to the station.
Review 9：The breakfast wasn't the best. I wasn't seated by the staff and instead chose my own seat. There was no Cutlery laid out and there was a less than vast selection of breakfasts. I may have been tended to had I asked for assistance, but because I was in a rush I didn't think too much of it, but it could have been a much better experience.

Review 12：Really value for money. The hotel a bit far from the city centre but the public transport is efficient and the bus stop is just nearby. No problem in going to the city by bus then the train. Just around 45 min.
Review 13：The location is very very remote so the travel to Amsterdam was longer than we imagined. We also had two single beds which is a bit of a downside due to being a young couple on our first vacation.

Review 15：Was in Almere for work and Bastion was for me the perfect location. Just a 5 min walk to the company. Had a good night sleep the staff was friendly,wifi perfect and for me the smokers room downstairs fantastic.
Review 16：Very far way to Amsterdan Center of the City, with car is not good idea because you need to pay the parking and cost minimum 5€ per hour and gasoline too (about 40mikn, the another option is with bus in front of the hotel and cost 14€ for 2 person go and back to the train station, and then 10€ more for the train for 2 person. So, even the price is ok of the hotel you spend a lot of money with transports. The recepcionists dont tell you anything, we need to ask everything and they didnt offer me the breakfast, only gave me the key and thats all. I think they need to have a course how to receive the clients.

Review 18：Was woken by means of banging at my door at 23:56 for a delivery of towels. The towels which I did not order were deposited at my doorstep. An apprentice front desk clerk was not aided or supported in any way, while customers were piling up. Rather the senior receptionist engaged in a lengthy telephone conversation of a private nature, and ignored the clientele completely. Staff is generally not from the area and can not make meaningful local recommendations.

For smokers it is heavy , sepcially in cold winter evening. Private parking place in front of hotel. A shusi restaurant is next to it.

Review 79：I asked an iron in the morning. I was waiting for it around 40 min, until I had to call to reception once again to remind about it. They told me, someone took it and didn't return it in time and the didn't know who was it. It made a bad impression about hotels stuff.

Review 94：Reception guy won't redeem a free drink we got with Foursquare at check-out because it was a "check-in" free drink. Thus expired after 18 hours. How cheap is that.
Review 95：We really did not like that even though we had booked without breakfast the staff tried 3 times to charge us for breakfast. And each time we confronted them with it they changed back, but did not show any sign of that they where sorry for the mistake. It seems like they have a policy of charging breakfast no matter what - and then they hope that someone does not check their statement. And with a charge of EUR13 for breakfast per person it is fast a lot of money.

Review 99：When I arrived at the Hotel the receptionist could not find my reservation, however she was very pleasant and the problem was soon solved. The room was fine however when my Son and I came down for Dinner the chaos could only be compared to a sketch from Fawlty towers, the receptionist was serving at the bar running back to answer the phone (which was on a loud ring) At first it was not too bad but it became clear that it would be difficult to get something to eat,unfortunately there was no alternative.We sat at a table and a young man arrived hurriedly putting on a tie,he took our order forgetting to ask how we wished for our steaks to be cooked, they arrived with cold vegetable's. we never saw him again!!. At the reception I tried to get a receipted copy of my room account which I had paid cash for as I did not want to be a "no show" and my credit card charged, this proved to be very difficult as so many people were still arriving, the poor girl was so distraught that she threw my key card and the bill at me, I did point out that it was hardly my problem that the Hotel was running with no staff.The breakfast was certainly not worth the money, here there were people to serve if untrained. The room was fine, clean and up to standard but the food and beverage was terrible.I cannot see where they achieve a 3 star rating
