Review 1：Lights in the bedroom were very dull. The bedside lights were ok but the room needed a bright main light.

Review 2：Value for money. Got all the facilities that are in an apartment. Good crockery and cookware. Shan,the guy the in charge was very friendly and Co operative. It's in a small town with not much around except a few stores. Good view of the mountains. Le Morne is 5 min drive away. You should hire a car if u want to stay here for a few days.

Review 7：We spent around one month at Mauritius, and it was wonderful vacation! If you rent a car, the location of the Mountain View is very convenient. Le morne beach, which is great for surfing and kitesurfing, is just 7 minutes by car. You can get to the supermarket by foot (it takes about 5 minutes). There are also some restaurants and bars close to the hotel. Our apartment was spacious and homish. There was a kitchen with all necessary stuff (stove, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, automatic kettle and all the types of the dishes), large bathroom, free parking, lovely garden with sun loungers. The room is cleaned every day, except public holidays. You can enjoy beautiful view from the terrace. Airport transfer is also available at Mountain View. We booked this transfer, so Mr. Shan was waiting for us at the airport, when we arrived. He was very friendly and helpful with all our questions: buying sim-cards, good restaurants, car rental, places of interest in Mauritius etc. He even gave us Happy New year gift, that was very nice. And finally, reasonable price should not go unspoken. I’m not hesitate to recommend Mountain View!

Review 11：Every room has an exclusive design. The location is very convenient both for going out and going to the surfing and touristic spots. The room is cleaned every day. Wi-Fi is limitless and speedy. This accomodation has everything for easy and careless stay on Mauritius :)

Review 12：I have stayed in three different places while discovering the island and this was the one we loved the most.It was easy to get to any part of the island from here, very comfortable, big, safe parking, shops close by, Le morne beach which is beatufil and one of the top beaches in my opinion is just 5 min drive. If I could go back in time I would have booked for the whole 7 days of my holidays only this place and no other. You don't need a pool. amazing beach is just around the corner!

Review 13：Good place for accommodation! The hospitable and helping managing director. Convenient arrangement: - quiet place - 5 minutes of walking to a supermarket - within walking distance La Gaulette the mooring for driving on a board - 10 minutes of a driving to the beautiful Le Morne beaches. Conclusion: a ratio price/quality for exacting tourists!

Review 36：My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at Mountain View in La Gaulette earlier this month. The studio was absolutely fantastic - spacious, clean and with all the facilities we needed. We booked airport collection offered by Mountain View which worked out fine (although I did have to call Mountain View from the Arrivals Hall as our driver was not there. Mountain View called the driver who immediately appeared with a sign, although I would have preferred for the driver to be waiting in the Arrivals Hall from the start). When we arrived at Mountain View we were met by Shan, who was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us a lot of useful information about the local area, places of interest in Mauritius etc. Shan was also very good at responding to questions via email prior to arriving. The studio is a short walk (5-10mins) from a well stocked supermarket (although be warned, it is closed on Sundays!). We were looking for reasonably priced accommodation away from the main 'tourist hubs' and well located for visiting the Black River Gorges National Park/7 Coloured Earth. Mountain View was an ideal choice and I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

Review 39：Anand, the owner of Mountain View, is very helpful with anything from finding Sim cards, to helping with car rental, as well as even helping me find a new home for an abandoned puppy! The accommodation is fantastic, with everything you need to get by. Lots of space, and very clean and neat. Close to the Supermarket, and only about 5 minutes drive from the kiting spots in Le Morne. I will go back time and time again :-)

We hope to come again and again:)This place is really great for the calm,peaceful holiday.Also atmosphere in the accommodation is very peaceful,silent! which was very valuable for us.Beatiful nature,national park,waterfalls,nature highlights in the area.We just recommend to rent a car to discover all of the places around...Big thanks to owners -all of the services were more than excellent !!!

Review 44：the apartment and the owner are absolutely lovely. very quiet and relaxing. apartements are very clean and big. a big supermarket 5min by foot nearby. perfect location if you want to stay away from big touristy hotels. the location is good to get to different attractions in the south of the island (le morne or tamarin beach, black river national park, 7coloured earth, Tea Factory etc.), but you need a car. Definetely our favourite residence on our holiday in Mauritius

Review 46：Stayed here for 3 weeks in this very nice accommodation. The rooms are a really good size apartments really with a very good kitchen, lounge area which is all new and well designed. It is great value for money and proves that Holidays in Mauritius do not have to be expensive. You can choose self catering...there is a good size supermarket 5 minutes walk away together with a choice of 5 places to eat. There is a great beach 5 minutes drive away at Le Morne which is where many very high priced luxury hotels are based. A car will help you to explore the island from this quiet location which is in a nice residential area of la Gaulette. Rooms/apartments are cleaned daily to a high standard and Anand,the owner, is a super helpful guy.This place ticks all the boxes :0) . Internet is free, aircon is not extra and washing machine is good for longer stays..

Review 48：It has very beautiful view, the kitchen is good equipped and the equipment is new, the apartment is large too. It's a good place to look the stars at night and the mountains. There's a lovely yard in front of the apartment, and the voice of birds will wake you up every morning. You can go out for eating or buy something easily, because there are 2 restaurants and a supermarket around. It's a very good place to spend your vacation!

Review 49：We stayed 13 nights in One of this 3 beautiful and very well equipped arpartments! It was the perfect point to explore the natural south east of Mauritius. Just a couple minutes by car to Le Morne the best place for kite and windsurfing. The arpartments are large scaled, the kitchen is well equipped and brand new, the bathroom is covered with natural stones and every day room service was offered. We enjoyed our stay a lot and are looking forward to come back soon!

Review 50：I liked this place a lot! This apartments made my stay better. I felt like home, nice place for barbecue, excellent kitchen. Everyday cleaning, fresh towels. Private parking. Shops are very near (to walk 5 min). And the owner is a vert nice guy, very helpful and kind! Location- You can't get to the beach by feet, you should take a car to drive to Le Morne ( but it takes only a few minutes to drive). BUT! you will have a beautiful mountain view! I definitely can recommend this place to stay!
