Review 1：Furniture was a bit tired looking/dated. My bedside drawer was broken. Fridge did not work. Overall appearance of hotel was dated.

Review 9：Good location, not too far from the station or Matsumoto Castle. We only stayed one night, it was not very memorable, but it probably was clean and got the job done. I can't even remember the breakfast.

Review 13：Japanese room was large, traditional bedding with fresh pajamas each day. Paper screens added to nice atmosphere in room. Tatami were new and clean. Free breakfast was very basic mix of Japanese and Western fare, but did the job for parents and kids alike. Fantastic locations, easy walking from train station and Matsumoto castle. Small park with 2 swings made a great retreat for the kids in the evening.

Review 14：We struggled for the first 10 mins when we arrive at the station , trying to determine how and where to walk to the hotel. It would be helpful if u googled and print the map. It was helpful for me so that I wouldn't get lost.

Review 98：The staff tried to put me in a smoking room when I've booked a nonsmoking room. They even had the nerve to tell me the room was nonsmoking, when it had an ashtray beside the tv set. They realocated me toa non smoking room, but I don't like when people try to fool me.

Room was a good size as well with comfortable beds. 4. Breakfast was another plus point. Not the biggest variety but good enough and in a nice dining room with pleasant view.
