Review 1：The food was amazing! Both the set-meal at night and the buffet breakfast! The staff was also really polite and insisted on carrying our bags to and from the car. The onsen was also really nice!

Review 4：We arrived at freezing cold, when we arrived, two young staffs came out and check whether we are guest of the hotel but didn't help us at all with our bags. They just stood there and watch us carry the bags ourselves in the freezing cool. I am not sure why because all other hotels we went, they all come rushing to helps. Even the check in staff help to push the bags to the elevator.
Review 5：The hotel is just right above the famous waterfall in biei. All you have to do is walk out, cross a bridge and you will see it.

Review 7：Truly Japanese style family room and good size for a family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The view from the room is stunning especially when it snows. Breakfast and dinner were good. The only slight problem we encountered was the communication part as the hotel staffs do not speak not understand English well. However, they still tried their best to help. Both the kids and adults enjoyed the stay very much!

Review 9：A very nice onsen hotel near the waterfall and blue pool. Dinner is very delicious with many dishes. Good quality of spring water, makes your skin very soft. Value for money. Will come back again.

Review 19：The dinner and breakfast were amazing! The Onsen was great, the outdoor one was especially beautiful. Our room was lovely, although it would be good to have wifi available in the room. The hotel driver was superb and ferried us to and from Biei for no extra charge. He also took us to see the blue pond twice, which we really thought was a very nice touch and we were extremely appreciative. A great place to stay.
Review 20：it is very close to the lake, not as close as the others but maybe 2-3 mins walk. Owner will give you brochures (if you ask) for the cable car and the ferry, which come with discount coupons.
Review 21：We booked this room less than two weeks before our trip. Our Japanese style room situated on first floor facing the parking lot and did not have the lovely view of the gorge as the rooms facing the backside of the hotel.

Review 39：We have asked for a small private room for dinner and got confirmation from booking.com however, when we were there, the hotel said they could not arrange for us though we can see there are small function room available. Overall the facilitites are dated and wore out.
