Review 1：Nothing bad at all. The gas rings were a bit scary to light, and there were no sharp knives, but we weren't doing serious cooking.
Review 2：We had a wonderful stay. The villa was lovely, the staff wonderful, and the large, clean pool mostly had noone else in it! The children particularly loved the fact the pool was surrounded by an olive grove. The villa is just outside Scandicci, which is perfect for the tram into Florence.
Review 3：The location is superb and the staff is amazing. The fantastic breakfirst is served in your room, so you can take all the time you want in the morning. The pool is very big and surrounded by beautiful olive tree`s. The rooms, apartments offer all you need, really great. The view is magnificent, with lemon tree`s right outside your window. This is the best resort we have ever stayed in so lose to Florence. We can highly recommend it.
Review 4：The air in the room was a bit wet, but if you turn on the air conditioning it is quite ok to sleep there.
Review 5：Nice location, close to Florance but apart from the city. They have quite good swimming pool. Around the villa there is an olive garden so it is really more comfortable to spend the night there (it is not so hot and stuffy). The staff helped us to order the dinner at the first night and theay are very friendly and open.
Review 6：Good hill view ! Our family like it. The stuff is so nice to help usorder the food. Altough it is a little hard to find, the stuff is warmto guide us when we called. (If you use the gps, maybe it is ok.)

Review 44：We loved this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room had akitchen, fireplace, own bathroom, very clean, pool, and they broughtbreakfast to your room. If you don't have a car and gps Iwouldn't suggest this place. It's peaceful and quiet, and theviews are amazing. About 15-20 min from florence, and the airport, weare hoping to come back with family next time.
Review 45：We had a wonderful time at Poggio ai Merli.The rooms we had were different from each other but both very nice, especially the one called "Botticelli" with a huge fireplace. It was very hot at the time we stayed, so we could not use it, but it must be spectacular in the winter. Al the service we were offered was helpful to make our stay very pleasant: bookings, directions, advice etc. The surroundings are great and the distance to Firenze easy to do by tram. You definitely need a car to drive to Scandicci first, but once you are there you can park your car for free at the parkingplace near the supermarket where you can take the tram to Firenze. Restaurants are nearby and very good (I preffered the ristorante Giogoli Rossi, where the food was excellent and service very friendly and helpful, the view very nice). It's a 5 min drive to the restaurant. We like to come back again some time.

We loved sitting out in our yard overlooking the gorgeous hills. The staff was excellent and very accomodating. They helped us plan our trip into Florence and reserved our museum times. Ordered food in for us and brought breakfast to our apt. Just a fabulous experience. Verena was so helpful. We used the tram into Florence from Scandicci. I would love to go back.

Review 53：This is my third visit to Villa Poggio ai Merli and have loved it each and every time. The apartment, "Raphael" was perfect for my husband and mother but could easily accommodate more guests. It was lovely after a day in Florence for us to relax in the apartment's living room or outside taking in the views with a glass of wine. Verena, her husband, and everyone on staff couldn't have been more gracious or welcoming. Truly a pleasure staying there and highly recommend.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast! Provided us with local maps and restaurant recommendations. Golden View restaurant- A must! Reservation needed. Thank you for a wonderful, comfortable stay and cherished family memories! Definitely recommend this beautiful, Tuscan country side Villa!
