Review 1：The pool was too small and not very private. The rooms were a little tired and our's was quite dark. The bathroom fittings were old and needed replacing.
Review 2：The nice friendly couple who owned the place, it's position literally over the road from the beach, the size of the rooms, the comfort of the bed plus the external space where one was out of the sun but not inside. Our room was close to the road but still quiet. We thought the place was reasonable value.

Review 5：The room was a good size although there was not a lot of surface space for preparing food. The location was good within easy walking distance to two restaurants and right across the road from the beach. A great friendly welcome from the owners who made you feel at home.

Review 15：We had the nicest time chatting with Carrie and Greg. Their recommendation of Bengil Bay Café for dinner was spot on. They went over an above with service when I had a medical problem.
Review 16：My husband had a sudden and totally unexpected heart attack while on an excursion. Thanks to the kindness of both the managers. They picked me up in Tully with my own car, cheerfully taught me how to drive on the left side of the road and accommodations were quickly rebooked in Townsville. Review 17：We stayed for 6 nights, (one adult and two children) - Amount chargedwas too high for both the service and facilities offered. Had the amountcharged for the accomodation been 30% less, then I would have beensatisfied. Comments - 1. Barbeque - Very small, old, electric.2. Noise / Distrurbances - Loud noises heard in the morning and in the evening from adjacent properties and also other bungalows, (i.e. guest conversations from adjacent bungalows could easily be overheard) and staff using "leaf blower" around the putside of the accomodation at around 09:00am. 3. Shutter handles were found to be broken on windows so that opening and closing shutters was difficult. 4. When asked when the bedding would be changed during our stay since we would ONLY be staying 6 nights. Unbelievably poor service ...when considering the amount paid for the accomodation. 5. The curb from the road into the parking area was so high that great care needed to be taken in order to avoid damage to the underneath surfaces of the car when entering or exiting.

Thelocation (across the street from the most beautiful beach with publicplayground, public barbeque facilities and toilets located close to thebeach also and within walking distance. 4. Kitchen facility wasinadequate and old, (I.E. no diswasher & two ring electric"plug in" type stove).5. Staff provided extra towels for our use, (beach towels) upon request.

Review 61：I was pleasantly surprised by this property. The reviews were excellent which is the only reason I booked. However it looked a bit old and outdated in the photos. There are 4 chalets onsite. They were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Each has its own kitchenette, BBQ outside, outdoor lounge and pool chairs on the individual patios. The gardens were very well kept and all chalets were well screened so no mozzies or creepy crawlies inside. There was a couple of restaurants within walking distance and the beach was across the road. Mission Beach area is a bit on the quiet side for us but perfect for our 1 night stopover. If you want a very relaxing holiday and have no reason to go anywhere this little resort is just perfect.
Review 62：No Internet in room although advert on Booking.com say so. Left me in very tight spot as I had work to do and relied on WiFi connection in room - that's why I booked it. Upgrade this and it will be a perfect place

Review 65：Lovely well equipped chalet in beautiful gardens. Everything you needed and Keri made you feel instantly at home. We were only there for two nights and unfortunately it rained quite a lot, but we enjoyed sitting in the inside/outside dining space with a bottle of wine, playing scrabble!

Review 68：We loved our little cottage for two days by the beach. It was so well equipped and cosy. Kerry was lovely and welcomed us with friendly chat and let us book in really early. We loved cooking in the cute little kitchen and we especially liked lounging by their pool. All in all it was hard to leave and we'd recommend this place to everyone.

Review 76：We were greeted by Kerry and Greg, the friendly caretakers. They were very helpful with local information and went out of their way to assist. The chalets are nestled in a beautiful garden setting and are far enough apart for complete privacy. The outdoor living area is superb. A perfect place to relax and unwind from the business of life. We will return!!
