Review 1：Got stuck in the lift, was told the area the hotel is located has frequent power failures, but the hotel itself has back up generators which kick in seconds!

Review 5：I was made to wait 20 minutes for a room. I had to ask too. I was told to go up as housekeeping had opened the room. Yes it was opened but minus the key card. I asked for a king sized bed but was given a twin bed. Don't the reception bother to confirm the room type before assigning the room? Bad experience.

Review 7：Breakfast is very unusual, even compared to other hotels in Borneo.. could only eat the toast.. Wifi was very unreliable, most of the time it was not working. Sheets had staines on them.

Review 9：-The fire alarm kept going on in the middle of the night and it was very noisy. Apparently there was a fault with the fire alarm. The staff was not very apologetic about it, in a good hotel I would expect them to tender an apology or offer a compensation.

Review 10：-A good view of the sea from the room. -It is not in the first line of the sea and that makes the area less crowded and noisy.

Review 11：1. The wifi was provided but non detectable at all.. Thus, it was useless. 2. The person in charge of the car park was very rude at us, just because he was handling too many cars. 3. I booked 2 rooms - family room for 4 people and standard room for 2. We were informed that breakfast was provided. But my family (the one with family room) was only provided breakfast for two, had to pay for an extra person of RM14 (the 4th person is a child so no charged). I was only informed by my family after we had flew back home about this. 4. There was dots of blood on the bedsheet upon checking in, so the bedsheet was obviously not changed.

Booked a taxi for the airport for the morning we left and the same staff member didn't order our taxi. We had to wait 30 minutes for a taxi which could have resulted in us missing our flight.

Review 22：It's located nearfar from seaside but the worst thing is that thecity is a complete waste of time. Nothing happens there and there isnothing worth seeing. There is no beach and locals makes a photo ofeuropeans. Sik!

Review 23：The Hotel is quite well. I can't say any bad word for it. Looksnice, has quite well breakfasts. Even restaurant organises thematicdiners (steamboat evening, grill evening). And the staff is helpful.

Review 24：Leak under tiles room entrance resulted in pooling of water. windows need to be sound proofed as prayer calls v audible in early am hours. Have stayed there many times and never been able to access wi-fi not even once so they should not advertise free wi-fi. Dimsum restaurant only open certain days and even then can be booked for functions hence availability v limited.

Review 34：We stayed here over night to go out to the Proboscis monkey sanctuary the next day as it was the Labuk Bay bus pick up point. Was lovely room, very spacious and we really enjoyed our night stay. It was one of the nicest places we stayed Borneo.

Review 35：When we got the new room the negative parts came up. Old bed that made noise with every move. Old extremely noisy air conditioner. No warm water in the shower. Unclean bathroom. Terrible breakfast. @ checkout we where unhappy.

Review 36：The location is good. Sandakan itself is a filthy city but the hotel can't do much about that. The staff was very helpful UN the beginning. Got a room with seperate beds. Whe I returned and asked for a room with a one double bed they didn't have one available but I could stay in the room until the afternoon so they could clean the new room and we could use the double bed for the night. So far everything was good.
