Review 1：Overall Meriton Serviced Apartment in Kent street was nice, comfortable and near to a lot of shops of restaurant. Me and spouse stayed on 40th floor, yet we still can hear the sound from pub downstairs.

Review 2：We stayed just one night but we find the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and tidy. There is leak in the laundry which we mentioned to the staff as we checked out. However that didn't bother us much.

Review 4：Location. We also booked an Altitude Suite. Was on the 48th floor. Balcony was very spacious with a fantastic view. Loved the very Spacious room too. Will Definitely be booking same hotel and room next time we are in Sydney. Also the staff were brilliant. Can't wait to come back.

Review 9：It wasn't bad as such but a few issues with room. As we arrived early obviously room not ready as I requested beds to be figured into singles in both rooms of apt. paid and given room 3106. Later when we returned given room 5107 so beds not fixed. Phoned and requested the beds to be done but after 2 hours had to go to reception as they wouldn't answer my phone call (just rang out on several calls). Not sure if all apts have mirrored ceilings but would have liked to be advised of this as I was sharing my room with my teen daughter which freaked her out. Also kitchen although has basics maybe a few salad bowls or containers would be handy.

Review 11：Carpets are bit old and some portion of the carpets are already damaged. There was no dishwasher soap/liquid provided. There was no TV remote control in the bedroom - only provided to us after a follow-up or 2 requests

They have people cleaning and servicing the apartments,Do they not smell and see the mould or just don't care!!!! Surely you would think it would be notified to management as a health issue,not left to the paying customer to suffer,Just not good enough

Review 27：We did have a fire alarm which meant we had to walk down the stairs from floor 50. But staff were excellent in their treatment of us following this. A couple of times there were queues for the lift. Would have been good value if breakfast included.

Review 31：The lifts!! Despite having 5, almost the whole week one was out of order and they were all super slow. I frequently waited 5+ minutes for a lift, which doesn't sound a lot, but when there are 50+ floors and no chance of walking is pretty frustrating! The decor was pretty bland and clinical and could often here street noise from the city

Review 32：As the weather was horrendous I was so glad to be in the heart of the city!! And as the most recommended cuisine in the city seems to be Asian it was handy to be on the edge of china town. Good to have a washer/ dryer in the room and nice to have a gym/ pool (though both rather small!).

Review 34：The location is near Town Hall station (5 mins walk). The room is just so great with full facilities living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The pool and spa are also nice. You can have entire rest inside here. The staff are kind and helpful too. This is a good place to stay especially with family.

Review 35：Several lifts went passed our floor before one stopped. This happened on several occasions, a lift coming down would not stop .....sometime 4 lifts would bi-pass our floor before one would finally stop.

Review 45：Very disappointed that they felt they could pass off a tiny 2 bedroom room - only fit for small children in the double room and quite small adult double room as being value for 2times the cost of a double room plus $10. I remain a bit cross about this. We could have booked a room for 2 and another for 1 for less money and a whole lot more space. Please consider what you are charging and supply what would be reasonably expected.

Review 57：I pre arranged for an early checkin. This didn't happen along with 2 other families we all had to wait beyond the offical checkin time of 2 pm as room still not ready. I complained and they gave me a complimentary Late checkout of 12 pm then on the day knocked on the door at 10 am and called to check when we were leaving at 10.15 am! It was annoying as our check out was 12 pm! Also we did not have a tea towell or chux in kitchen . I called the reception 3 times as well as speaking in person and housekeeping never came to rectify this . Staff were unhelpful at reception when asking why the pre arranged early check in was not available . Have a daughter with autism and after a 12 hour drive from bris to Syd was not impressed about waiting another 3 hours to check in at 230 pm when we arrived at 1130.staff were not understanding or emphatetic. These were 2 x male reception workers 1 blonde haired and the other of Middle Eastern appearance and short. The female manager on check out was more helpful & sympathetic apon check out when my daughter misplaced her phone .also the lines for the lift were excessive and you had to wait sometimes 10 mins for an elevator around dinner time and checkout times.

Review 65：I had extended my initial stay. On around day 14 or so there was no daily room refresh. I had been unwell and had not left the room for days. Upon dialing guest services late in the afternoon to check what happened, an unknown staff member gave a standard reponse about daily refresh policy. I was well aware of the policy- my experience being- towels,tea, bins. Being unwell and upon enquiring further about fresh towels and the tea i was desperately relying on - the staff member was not congenial..was difficult and left me feeling very irritated having to ask for something that i was entitled to and was belittled for. Apart from that everything else was perfect. There were no vending machines in the building but large convenience store is just around the corner and a japanese supermarket across the road

Daily light service with fresh towels, tea/coffee, toiletries and waste bin change. Darling Harbour views to satisfy any boredom due to immobility (2 bed apartment). 5 elevators. Centrally located in the city near Town Hall train station, World Square shopping centre, Eateries/Restaurants 50m ( Thai, Jap, Viet, Spanish,Chinese, Korean, Mod Oz and French), Cinema, Several convenience stores, Japanese grocer across street. Delivery to apartment door from Machiatto italian restaurant (Authentic gourmet italian wood fired pizza, juicy fish, chargrill meat, cake and more) and oporto chicken. Large pool and gym. No next door apartment noise heard from within bedroom. Excellent full kitchen facilities. Stove, Oven, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Crockery and Cutlery, Pots and pans. Comfortable bed even if you suffer back issues. Free Magazines on coffee table. 1gb of free wi-fi. Extra Tv in main bedroom was very important. Bedrooms were on opposite side of apartment, allowing noise separation and each have closing doors. Second bathroom also good for guests. 1 bathroom has a bathtub and separate shower. Other bathroom had shower and toilet and was connected to internal laundry that had washing machine and dryer and detergent provided! Have also stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment here. Lower floor, some have views, shower is over bathtub and had another tv in the bedroom. Also had internal laundry. Tea consisted of black, green and peppermint. Overall, They do think of everything and you can almost be confident that staying at another branded meriton will have similar facilities.

It appeared a fire door or an adjoining property door was a jar and banged with the wind most of the night, it was annoying but we Put up with it.Some kitchen utensils showed signs of not being cleaned properly, glasses and some knives needed to be washed prior to use.

Review 80：Should have a little better scheduled maintenance. Had to call to change/clean AC filters which were causing allergic reaction to family members, and which were filthy. This after relocating from a different room for the same reason; allergic reaction to being in the room. For the price charged, a higher floor with some view would have been nice, instead of looking at a chimney and a back alley for 5 days.

Review 94：The couch in the lounge room apartment is not comfortable and needs new lining, the apartment itself smelt like it had a Asian cook inside it also the freezer stunk also some Asian cooking it had a stain in it which stunk every time u opened it.... Also the view wasn't great even thou we were 26 levels up.... The TV needs upgrading terrubke sound if your playing music.

Review 97：Great place to stay. Very central and close to the train stations so it was very easy to get around. Also very close to great shopping and night life. I only wish we had time to use the pool facilities as they looked very inviting.

Review 98：Booked in for 3 days. On the second day our room had not been cleaned by 3pm. Asked for replenishment supplies had to ring twice before toilet paper was supplied. Early evening they came to clean just as we were getting dressed for dinner.

The bedroom door didn't open all the way as it hit the bathroom tiles on the floor so you had to squeeze through half a doorway to get to the bathroom, very strange. Need a Reno just looks like they have given it a quick patch up. Much better places to stay

Review 103：The popularity of the site requires a doorman for security purposes and to control obvious louts, drug and alcohol affected patrons and visitors. I had a serious encounter with a shirtless and shoeless drug effected zombi and there was no one to call upon for assistance. A security person for Friday/ Saturday nights etc. would be a good start.

Review 105：Housekeeping took a few attempts to help us with a cot we asked for in the booking. Available cot was a play pen which was fine but there was no mattress. The staff eventually offered a mattress topper for the baby. One of the rooms had a very strong cigarette smell though it was a non-smoking floor.
