Reviews for Relais Oroscopo

Review 1:It is splendidly located, the owners were charming and very helpful, and the adjacent restaurant is excellent although it is only a ten minute stroll to town and the other side of the road is a handy Co-op and a very good little bar serving nice pasta lunches. It suited my needs down to the ground.

Review 2:No ac and we were there in July when the temperatures were in the high90's and humid. No screens on the windows so that in keeping thewindows open in order not to suffocate from the heat we were exposed tomosquitos. Terrible breakfast.

Review 3:It was quaint and clean.

Review 4:For a moment we thought the whole thing was closed and not well kept. It took us some time to get in: 4.30 in the afternoon was still sleeping time. Nobody was there behind the desk at night either. Room was small, shower was so small I could hardly get in, no shampoo. Bed was a little too hard for our taste.

Review 5:Most things were alright, but never perfect. For an Italian hotel the breakfast was fine (shouldn't compare it with a German hotel however...) Diner was good, but could not be paid on same bill of the Hotel. (It seems they are not working together any more?)

Review 6:Perhaps a little way out of the town .

Review 7:This was a very pleasant hotel. Very quiet . The Manager was very helpful. Would love to stay here in another season. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it.

Review 8:Our hosts were extremely helpful - I had problems with my car and needed arrangements made and I was given all the help I could have wished for.

Review 9:The room had a damp smell and some of the wallpaper was peeling.

Review 10:The bathroom was clean; the antique furniture in the room and throughout the hotel.

Review 11:Wifii weak line Breakfast very poor

Review 12:Very difficult to get to without a car.

Review 13:Lovely building, quiet, clean charming. Big bedrooms. Great restaurant next door.

Review 14:The weather was hot but the pool wasn't available as the filter hadn't been turned on....the pool was one of my reasons for booking!

Review 15:Great authentic old Italian hotel with friendly staff.

Review 16:We are not sweet breakfast eaters and there we had absolutely no choice of anything non-sweet despite natural yogurt.

Review 17:We liked the owner, silence and the style of the hotel. We had a very cheap room, so it wasn't very comfortable, but quite nice for a short stay. Generally good offer for this money.

Review 18:We could not stay longer.

Review 19:Tuscan style building and food. We ate in the dining room a few times and were delighted with the food and the very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts and dining room. In fact the whole building was beautiful and the shutters - closed during the hot parts of the day was as good as air con. Only used the pool a few times but enjoyed it very much. Owner Marco drove us into town to do some shopping and collected us later - what service! Pierre the dog became a good friend. Such a relaxing place to stay. we are determined to go again.

Review 20:We used this place as a stop over between Sorrento & San Gimignano so we didn't really explore the area but it seems like there wasn't too much near by apart from that 1 small town and i would think its pretty tricky to get to so you will need a car

Review 21:We were on honeymoon in Sorrento and had to drive to San Gimignano so the day before we decided to book a night here to break up the drive so we had little expectations... I can't believe what a beautiful place this is for the price. It feels like your staying in someone's house, it is so "Italian" and the few staff are very welcoming. There was no one at the pool which is surrounded by greenery in a very quiet area, making it feel luxurious. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel (do not mistake the pizzeria joined on next door as it) The restaurant features in the Michelin restaurant guide & I'm not surprised, the only thing that surprises me is that it hasn't got a Michelin star! The restaurant is small but very authentic, the decor fits perfectly with the traditional rustic Italian food served.... My mouth is watering just remembering it! If your looking for peace, quiet, good food, excellent wine this is the place for you!

Review 22:Bath and room corners are not very clean - dust, mud etc.

Review 23:The hotel is located on the outskirts of Sansepolcro - not far from E45 and Rimini-Arezzo road cross. Owners also run a Michelin starred restaurant in the same building. So, you can enjoy nice dinner here. Alll rooms has their own names and a refurbished in a mix of antique style and 1980-90s.

Review 24:The hotel had a slightly dilapidated feel. Our shower door needed attention and the room was quite small.

Review 25:For budget conscious travellers, this is a great option. The hotel is conveniently located in the suburbs close to the town centre. The pool is well maintained, and there is a decent restaurant next door

Review 26:No elevator, and I am not good with stairs, so it was not easy to get up to my room on the third floor every time. Also a bit of a distance from the town centre if I needed to go down there. Rain didn't help! Took a taxi.

Review 27:It was a very special place - antique furniture, red velvet curtains! The evening meal was great, and the signore and his wife who made the meal very friendly (nice for me on my own at that point.)

Review 28:There was never anyone at reception. The hotel is generally in a poor state of repair. The wc in our bathroom moaned loudly.
