Reviews for I Faraglioni

Review 1:We stayed just onw night but we were not able to use the wi-fi and somebody rang the bell at 3 am making loud noises.

Review 2:Super friendly staff and very clean and big room. The option to have breakfast at any time we wanted was brilliant.

Review 3:After having the airco on 17 degrees the whole evening, we were still sweating. We went to the reception to tell that the airco doesn't work properly. Some cool air comes out of it, but that doesn't bring the temp down. The receptionist shrugged his shoulders and wished us 'bonne notte'.

Review 4:Verry friendly host, B&B is close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Breakfast is in a nearby bar, you can choose croissant or an other pastry, coffee and also get rusks and butter.

Review 5:While we were not in the room staff came inside the room in the evening for cleaning without letting us know. They turned off air conditioner that we left for making room warm before the night.

Review 6:Perfect bed, big room size, great bathroom.

Review 7:A little street noise, could have better sheets. Terrasini has potential -- but they need to start picking up their garbage!

Review 8:I chose this place for proximity to the airport, plus space for our family of four. We had a very early departure from PMO and a rental car to return. THe host is lovely and was there right when we arrived. Very helpful with references and directions. There's a nice little cove beach (sea is lovely; beach needs clean up) a few steps down the street. I had very low expectations for Terrasini -- chose it for location only (easy 15 minutes on autostrada to airport). But our last evening was lovely -- the sea view and the small square, with lots of locals out enjoying a Sunday evening in January. Sure it would be hopping in summer. Inexpensive but nice food in recommended restaurants. It's nothing fancy but it does the trick and made for a very authentic last night.

Review 9:The location is very difficult to find, driving around Terrasini is a bit of a one way street nightmare

Review 10:The lovely landlady Margarita, friendly & so helpful simply could not do enough for us! Having a fridge in our room and the use of a kitchen if we needed it

Review 11:nothing

Review 12:Friendly helpful staff, free parking outside B&B, spacious well equipped room, very close to main square of a pleasant small seaside town, and very close to Palermo airport.

Review 13:The room on the ground floor backed onto the street and a bar which was very noisy until 1.00am. Needed to sleep so could have done with a quieter room. Very hot and no aircon.

Review 14:Last minute booking , the owners could not have been nicer and will be going back again with the family next year. Great location lovely little town with great restaurants and bars.

Review 15:Overpriced given that it is in a lost village. Beware: the Booking.comwebsite description being 4.1km from the airport is not true. The hoteldescription of 13km is true, which costs 40 euros by taxi!

Review 16:No complaints about the hotel itself. Room and staff excellent.

Review 17:We booked "room with sea view" but that was with view on the street. When asked for it owner explained booking.com allowed them to title this way because there is view by google maps. After first night stay (were too tired too discuss issues) we decided to cancel next night and leave - had to go thru unpleasant situation with owner who tried to convince there is no problem. Finally agreed to pay for one night. Since that we were not offered breakfast (included in room rate). Room entrance was direct from noisy street (till 1am) and bathroom was external private bathroom -not internal. Anyway we were offered to choose between 2 rooms on arrival moment - another had internal bathroom and view to another street. I think www.booking.com should consider these kind of cases more serious.

Review 18:The place is really nearby sea shore and small beach. Village is small and cosy and you can find some cosy restaurants with amazing rooftop terraces.

Review 19:Nothing, it was perfect

Review 20:We used this hotel for a night before an early morning flight. The location and service was excellent the staff had good English and were great they also provided A private car to the airport at 5:30 am for a very reasonable price . The place was clean and the room was large and comfortable

Review 21:After having been warmly greeted by name, we quickly found our comfortable accommodation homely and inviting. Every detail from the decor to the attentiveness of the staff made our stay memorable. You get out of your holiday what you put in and this was certainly the case. A stone's throw away from the beach, the main square and all conveniences. No shortage of places to eat, drink, visit or relax and a friendly face on every corner. An ideal holiday for people who want a break from it all with very little pressure to do anything apart from take life as it comes. Certainly a good distance from Palermo City centre, where a car would come in handy. Great beaches were however in walking distance! One of the most relaxing holidays we have been on!

Review 22:After a hectic week travelling around Sicily and staying in a number of rather expensive but nondescript upmarket hotels, we booked this accommodation on our last night purely due to its proximity to the airport, as a place to sleep before catching an early morning flight. From the moment we arrived we were treated as old friends. Seeing that we were hot and exhausted, we were made to jump into Margerita's car and whisked off to a divine private swimming pool. After a very refreshing swim, we were handed a basket of freshly picked figs from the owner's garden. This is the kind of hospitality that money simply can't by. It is heartfelt, sincere and genuine and goes well beyond the call of duty. The accommodation couldn't be described as luxurious but is nevertheless clean and spacious with AC, TV and free wifi. Furthermore, the town is lively and bustling with a wide range of restaurants and bars. The complete opposite of what one would imagine an airport suburb to be like.

Review 23:Unexpected beautiful quaint town. Close to airport. Plenty of restaurants. Wonderful church, friendly people.

Review 24:Very polite and attentive stuff, it was very clean inside. The location is really good for this town.

Review 25:amazing staff

Review 26:Noise in the bedroom all night long, because the room is on the ground floor.

Review 27:Big, cozy apartment, not far from sea.

Review 28:Wonderful friendly service and cute place to stay for one night. We ate at arabesque - great pizzeria.

Review 29:No sea views as advertised.

Review 30:Very helpful staff

Review 31:We loved all of it.

Review 32:We booked this hotel at the last minute as we wanted to be near to Palermo Aiport for an early flight. We didn't know what to expect and we were not disappointed. This hotel is excellent and the staff were amazing. We were greeted straight away and shown to our room on the ground floor. It was exactly what we'd wanted - Sicilan charm and modern convenience! It had tiled floor, large bed, modern bathroom. It was very very clean and we had a plate of fruit and some sweets waiting for us. As we went walking with our baby, it started to rain and I went back to get the raincover for her pram. The staff gave us two umbrellas for ourselves. There was also wifi and breakfast included. The location is also perfect. The sea is just a stone's throw away and up the street was the main square with cafes and restaurants. I cannot really compliment the hotel enough - way better a than souless hotel chain and much more accomodating then many places we've stayed in the past. Excellent value for money.
