Reviews for Campeggio Al Weekend
Review 1:Bungalow was too small for 2 adults and 2 children. Staff did not even think to leave it broom and a mop with a cloth for cleaning - for tourists it is very inconvenient. It was very frustrating to be in a place where elementary nothing to wipe the floor in the shower. Other camping sites were all for cleaning. Personally, I was very uncomfortable to sleep on their beds. I think that such conditions are more suitable for 1-2 nights, and we were there a week ...
Review 2:Slightly too small car parks.
Review 3:fabulous pool and slide. Excellent restaurant and bar, very friendly and efficient staff. Had an amazing view of Salo from our mobile home.
Review 4:None.
Review 5:Fab location, exceptionally clean and well presented chalet. The site is beautifully maintained and in a great area between Salo and Sirmione, 2 wonderful places to visit. We turned up without our own bed linen and towels (didn't even think about it on our 3 week European tour) but when we arrived late at night, checked in and found our chalet then went back and told the reception we had a problem, the answer was "we don't have problems, only solutions". Well, what a great response. We got fresh linen and towels at a very reasonable price delivered up to our chalet.
Review 6:You should add Eur 70 at the booking price for bed clothes and towels for 4 persons (after arrival). You should pay extra Eur 30 if you miss check out 1 day before leaving day. You should buy toilet paper before arrival otherwise you will have an interesting situation in the toilet. Air conditioner started to work after I changed batteries. Info point can be open, but does not work after working hours, does not accept money, not possible check in or check out if you get there outside opening hours (9-13/ 14-19). If you need to arrive or leave during night from 23-7- a barrier is closed. There is no staff that opens the locked barrier. If I tell to the staff about necessity leave at 3am, attitude was negative and disobliging. I was happy when after 45 minutes begging to solve my problem - I wanted to pay cash or with credit card at 8 pm and get back my passport and leave at 3 am to go to airport - staff agreed to solved this big problem. I would not to advise this camp. In other camps staff told me about significant nuances after arrival, in this camp you should read all A5 format leaves around Info point's window and all small letters in a contract, then you will have possibility to pay and leave, other problems it does not solve.
Review 7:Location. Pool. Surrounding.
Review 8:Cottage Classic was a bit on the small side with couple and one 2 year old but great value for money
Review 9:Great location, amazing views and staff very friendly and helpful
Review 10:Steep walk down to and up from the lakeside. Wi-Fi was really poor. Lots of mosquitos so need protection / citronella candles.
Review 11:We stayed in a Classic Cottage which was very compact but well equipped. It was ideal for our three night stay. The shower was great with lots of hot water. The second bedroom was a little on the small side. The site is huge and has fantastic facilities for kids! It was quite a trek down a steep hill to get to the lakeside. Very quiet / peaceful and in a nice area.
Review 12:On days when Gardaland Park works to 23h, although camp advertises tickets and tours and Gardaland Park, they put down the ramp at 23h and will not let the entry to the camp with the car. Even for adults, let alone children (which mainly on a ride from Gardaland to the camp sleep in the car) is after a day of walking on the park really too much with all the things you walk 15 minutes uphill to the mobile home. Bathing caps in the pool)), just is not something that is needed in 2015. Of 5 nights, we have spent 2,5 days in the camp, of all the animation that we saw before arriving at the web site, was mini disco which is for children under 4 years and thats it. The pool was a lifesaver, but no music, no animators not even one day that we where there, maybe we just didn't have luck. The pool was interesting, but the website and the video turns out to have entertainment for all ages every day, however, was not quite so. Great option if you want the time to visit some of the theme parks, but just camping with older children, also above 5 years can be tedious, especially if it rains and the pool is not opened. Swimming pool works until 6pm which is during summer and heat crazy, the day lasts until 9,30pm
Review 13:Swimming pool adapted for adults and children, adrenaline park, close to the lake Staff and entertainers super frendly, young animators after working hours with a smile presenting in what attractions they are offerering, I did not remember the name of the boy, but to his credit, I hope his employers are aware of it, paycheck up.
Review 14:If I had to complain about something it would just be that the mini market catered for foreigners but for Italians there were no papers.
Review 15:The campsite and caravan were both very clean. Staff at restaurant we so friendly and welcoming. The animation team were fantastic and made our children feel so involved straight away. Because our children were so happy it made it a very enjoyable holiday for us as they were never bored. I would definitely go back.
Review 16:All bungalows should be equipped with air conditioner as its really hot during the summer.
Review 17:Confortable bungalows, swimming pool, jacuzzi all very good! Pleasant and quiet place. Perfect for families and a car is necessary.
Review 18:Poor marking of parking for our cottage confusion, but staff did sort it out. Mark each cottage with the number of the cottage so it's clear that it is in front of the cottage and not back which is what we were told on arrival
Review 19:Good value, friendly staff and great location
Review 20:We couldn't walk to a restaurant - but the campsite food is good and reasonably priced/cheap and we had a car. Would highly recommend a car.
Review 21:Amazing view, nice big camp site which is reasonably close to the lake. Air con in mobile home which we didn't expect. The cleaning fee is waived if you clean yourself. The food in the campsite restaurant is very nice (better than a couple of meals we had in the nearby town of salo). We tried the lasagne, seafood pasta, salmon pasta, spaghetti bolognaise, ham ravioli and a ciabatta sandwich and all of it was lovely and authentic. Pool area nice with lots of space. Staff very helpful and always smile. This was our first stay in a campsite abroad and we were all pleasantly surprised with how well kept the grounds were. I would highly recommend! Expect above average accommodation and facilities with an amazing view but don't expect 5* luxury because it is a campsite after all!
Review 22:The blankets weren't very breathable so I was either cold or sweaty
Review 23:Self catering facilities, although simple are plenty for creating great meals in Italy Free wifi, was a little sketchy and only on one device but it was free It was VERY cheap The location is excellent, right on Lake Garda You can avoid the 30EUR cleaning fee by doing it yourself and they provide a little cleaning kit to make that possible
Review 24:Great full equipped and clean bungalow with many possibilities for young children. We had a "country" bungalow for us 4 and it was really comfortable. You can either bring your own bed clothes and towels or rent it there, you will need toilette paper and toiletries, they do not provide it but you have the possibility to buy it at the camping store. The food in the restaurant is pretty good! During eastern is perfect because of the prices and not so full of tourist. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Our bungalow was with A/C which we used to warm it during the night.
Review 25:- a beach between the Camping place and Saló about 20mins walk away - Bathing caps required - no chance to get fresh bakery at the camping place - the bathroom should be redone (the sink was partly broken) - no TV - no free WiFi, and very expensive (2,50€ for one day, 1 € for an hour)
Review 26:- spontaneus trip on the last three days of the camping season there - great camping place, we lived in a mobile home with great view over the lake for an extremely reasonable price - the pizzas were delicious! - great view over the lake, to Saló and the mountains around it - our son loved the entertainment, we used Spottyland with lots of toys and Mini Disco in the evening, he was so excited to see Spotty the last evening - nice walk over to Saló, even with a 4 year old good to do - 2 playgrounds with fun stuff for kids - very nice pools, also for kids (it was just too cold to actually swim in them) - very nice staff
Review 27:You have to bring your own sheets for the bed or rent them for 13€, they don't provide towels, which was written, but they don't even provide toilet paper. Cleaning fee 30€ not included in the price, so you might overlook that when booking. If you have a big car is hard to access the bungallows.
Review 28:The price for bungalow was good, the reception lady was super nice, location is beautiful, lots of stuff to do around.
Review 29:Very very very small. No towels! No toilet paper! No soap or shampoo! Not that clean, hair on the bed and if you want the hotel to clean after you, you need to pay 30 euro extra, otherwise you have to clean it by yourself before you check out.
Review 30:Cheap. Good location. Nice staff. Nice serrounding.
Review 31:May be a bit small with only one pool and bar. Walk into Salo was about half hour. The hill back up from the lake to campsite is very hard, I had to stop often to catch my breath as I'm not fit. Though I wouldn't let that out you off.
Review 32:Staff were very friendly. Clean campsite with lovely pool. Scenery was fabulous.
Review 33:Only hobs to cook on. Would have liked oven and microwave!!! Thicker mattress!
Review 34:The swimming pools, slides, warm spa pools :-) They always had at least two lifeguards on duty too. The restaurant - lush ice-cream sold for 1.20 euros. Such a bargain. Lovely staff on reception and the entertainment staff. Lots to do with my two boys (5 years and 2 years old) Outdoor gym type equipment, adventure park with zip wire, tunnel slide, archery and lots of woodland stuff. Another park with see-saw, swing, slide, wooden house etc. Entertainment throughout the day...land train ride, mini disco, make your own pizza, pirate theme day, painting and loads more. Hired a car and did loads of amazing things around the lake...can even walk through to the lake to swim in it! Salo really close - about 5km - and had a wonderful fireworks display there Sunday night. Lovely that my sons could go outside to play outside our cottage/chalet...not trapped in a hotel room!! They could go onto the decking and have a run around, be in nature, get loads of sun :-)
Review 35:1. Very cramped (1-2m) around bungalows, very difficult to park your car. 2. It does not do all activities listed on the web-site for adults or kids. 3. It is "dead" boring with nothing to do on rainy days (and it rains every day).
Review 36:location and the kitchen well equipped.
Review 37:Address wasn't right for tomtom navigator, so we didn't find the location at first (didn't try GPS coordinates). Very narrow ways for cars. Payd WiFi was available only at reception and restaurant (one could only order it for minimum 3 days for 14€). When I ordered it, staff didn't mention that it may be not usable it at my bungalow.
Review 38:Nice, quiet place to have vacation. Frendly staff, solved problems quickly. Nice view to the mountains. Children had nice playgrounds.
Review 39:Cold water in the pool
Review 40:Nice view, good accommodation
Review 41:Very nice position!Excellent value for the price!
Review 42:Stunning location, friendly staff, amazing food at great value overall fantastic holiday!
Review 43:Aircoblazers zaten vol stof
Review 44:I loved the reception kindness in d'india the Best location for us
Review 45:Very nice place and helpful staff. 10 points!
Review 46:Superīgs baseins un džakuzzi. Sīkajiem patika ūdens slidkalniņi. Netālu no Gardalandes (kempingā var izdevīgi iegādāties ieejas biļetes).
Review 47:Lots of activities for the kids. Great location and friendly staff.
Review 48:The passages are a little bit narrow to drive with the car
Review 49:I like everything and it was value for money
Review 50:parking next to cottage was very small, difficult to park there. There is no receptionist as night.
Review 51:very clean, you find everything you need.
Review 52:no toaster; the pillows; no towels;
Review 53:place; surroundings; hotel restaurant food; the camp; laundry; the play area for kids; nice pool (but did not use)
Review 54:view was excellent, near twon
Review 55:Location.
Review 56:There's no free wifi at the place, and if you plan to buy the service, you have to do it before 7pm when the office is closed. There's nobody at the reception overnight.
Review 57:The location is beautiful, an awesome village on the hills around Garda lake, also has an inner passage to the lake itself. The rooms are in small but comfortable lodges. Everything is clean Inside there is a little kitchen with dishes, fridge and teapot, which we found to be very helpful. Outside there is a lovely terrase with garden table and a BBQ. The staff was kind and polite. Overall it's a very nice place and we were sorry that we aren't staying for any longer. Besides, the price was more than fair.
Review 58:The weather (there's a good reason why there is so much water in the lake!), the onsite shop had a very limited range of goods, and was very expensive.
Review 59:Location, price, views, swimming pool.
Review 60:The staff was every time with different opinions about our issues. There is no warning that there are no bed sheets and that they cost additional money. The Wi-Fi was very expensive. The reception works from 9 AM to 11 PM may be because our stay was in May. When we want to check out unfortunately the staff found out that we are not checked in, despite they refuse to turn back our passports before we leave.
Review 61:It was next to the lake, but there wasn't really a beach orsomething like that. Wasn't a problem for us, we just relaxed in theswimming pool.
Review 62:Very nice personel, most of them even spoke Dutch. Swimming pool and hottubs where very nice. Restaurant was very good and had really friendlystaff. Pool was very clean, you had to wear a swimming cap. Sinceeveryone was wearing them, it didn't matter they look silly. Reallycheap and very nice bungalows.
Review 63:Quite remote- not for people who don't have a car because you will be out a fortune on taxis. Nearest town Salo is fabulous but very expensive.
Review 64:Staff were really helpful throughout the whole stay. Restaurant has very good food. Pools clean and lifeguard was always on duty. Bungalow was spotless on arrival, a few ants but there was insecticide spray there for you and once we sprayed it they were gone. Good atmosphere. If you have a car its a fantastic campsite for travellers. Very clean, well-kept and looked after and we felt very safe there!
Review 65:If you want to swim in pool, you must have a swim cap (also forchildren), which we didn´t know before. There is a small shop you can byone. Someone stole our babys Crocs in pools :/ Pools are closed18:00 and check in begins 17:00 so you are really hurry if you want togo there in first day. Check in and out was really slow, took 10-15min.Bungalow was really hot (no air condition and temperature 31 outside).
Review 66:We stayed in bungalow Weekend. Big pool area. Cheap.
Review 67:Check in till 19, not 22 as was written in confirmation. Pool closes at 18 pm. It was no parking place near our bungalow. The bungalow is really small. Problems with hot water in the shower. Ok for one night not for longer stay. Beach is very small just for 5-6 people, not really a beach.
Review 68:Good restaurant inside the camping.
Review 69:Great experience! Reserving a "bungalow" we expected to find amodest tent and were pelasantly surprised to see a whole house completewith two bedrooms and a kitchenette! The location was great, the staff -friendly, the rooms - comfortable if a bit small. We'll recommendcampeggio al weekend to all our friends. Thank you!
Review 70:Our fridge was not working so, we asked two different staff members to have it changed/repaired. They were kind, but our request somehow got lost and finally nothing happened.
Review 71:The restaurant on the campsite is really good and the staff is kind and fast.
Review 72:Annoying brit teen that asked to charge 20 Euro per day for bedsheets. You have to add this infiormation in booking.com hotelprofile. If smth is not provided & charge is needed this has to bestated in the booking!
Review 73:We came late (22.00) and could not pay untill 09.00 next morning, wanting to leave earlier...
Review 74:Nice place, nice view, clean cabine
Review 75:Entertainment and activities not at all as described on the internet.
Review 76:Good location, great views, quiet campsite, nice restaurant, friendly staff

Review 78:That place's staff is prima.Million thanks to them!
Review 79:Spacious camping, many activities for kids, there is a restaurant and little shop in the territory.
Review 80:The heater is not working it's very cold in the evening while we are slleeping...
