Reviews for Dar Assarou

Review 1:It was not heated adequately for end of November. The dining room was heated during dinner, but not the rest of the facility. Plenty of blankets were available so I was not cold sleeping, but I had to dress quite warmly at other times in the evening and morning.

Review 2:Very helpful staff and new, clean facility.

Review 3:Be aware that there is no heating in the rooms, so have something warm to wear even in the summer.

Review 4:Lovely situation overlooking orchards and the mountains. The young man looked after us very well. We had a simple dinner on the first night, soup with tagine followed by cherries from the garden. We had dinner the next night, we knew that it was tagine again, but not expected the same soup and a commercial yoghurt for dessert, so that was disappointing.

Review 5:WIFI but this is the problem of Marocco. Dinners were amazing but breakfast so so.

Review 6:My impression is that this was best find in Imlil. I do not know other places there but this one seemed just perfect. I much recommend to order dinners on site. Amazing, wonderful home made, traditional taste :)

Review 7:The bedrooms are quite basic and showers/WC are shared.

Review 8:The staff were friendly and helpful, food was good and the decor was traditional and comfortable. Great roof terrace and balcony with fantastic views.

Review 9:Nothing!

Review 10:Lovely very helpful people.Close to the village centre and the start of the walks up the surrounding hills and the path to Toubkal. We left 9am and went to Taroudannt via Tin Mal and Tizi Test pass arriving 3pm in our little hire car.FANTASTIC!

Review 24:His credit card device was broken and therefore I couldn´t pay with CC. This was a bit daft cause it was promised (booking.com)... However, Mustafa managed that someone drove me to the next town where I could draw some money...

Review 25:Mustafa is a nice host. Nothing wrong with the place either!

Review 26:De badkamer is klein, vooral die ene kleine lavabo. Er is nauwelijks plaats om een toilettas kwijt te kunnen.

Review 27:Beautiful location with mountain views. Comfortable, king size bed and excellent dinner. We were the only guests that night and the owner made us feel at home by lightening the wood burner in the dining room, very cosy!
