Reviews for Bosco Della Spina
Review 1:Terrace attached to the room wasn't nice. No so much of view. But the plenty of space around pool to sit down and enjoy the view.
Review 2:Great restaurant with homemade wine. Very clean room with quality finish. Nice swimming pool with Tuscany view.
Review 3:Please get rid of the straw flowers, grey and dusty. The refrigerator did not close well, the kitchen cabinets either.
Review 4:Beautiful location, but you do need a car. Beautiful pool. Beautiful modern apartment with a view A pity that there where scratches on the furnuture. There is a kitchen but hardly any equipment to prepare a meal: to minimal to make you happy.
Review 5:Our apartment was the best accommodation we'd stayed in over our whole trip, spacious and felt like a bit of luxury compared to other accommodation, views from our apartment were amazing, room was clean, pool was clean, breakfast on the terrace was lovely and dinner in the restaurant was amazing would recommend and definitely visit again
Review 6:Breakfast is typical italian .... But the Cappucino is good :-)
Review 7:Great place for families to relax and visit the southern part of Tuscany. Very friendly and helpful staff. Appartments are spaciuos and well equipped. The on site restaurant is good and offers regional dishes at reasonable prices. The home made wine is a real recommendation. We will come back!
Review 8:The cooking corner is very basic. Probably because the hotel has a restaurant (which is nice)
Review 9:Really nice place to stay. Great pool, nice people, great rooms. Not too many guests, Always free beds at the pool/.
Review 10:The beds from living room were not so comfortable and the Wi-Fi works in the room only in the first day. It was a bit noisy because the entry door was closed to our apartment.
Review 11:Great facilities, great view, staff very friendly.
Review 12:We were three couples and our experience was ruined by the staff which were not helpful and very rude. We booked the dinner in advance at the hotel (as there is nothing else close by) and we experienced poor service and food.
Review 13:Very nice facilities and excellent views
Review 14:They close on Wednesdays- which means no dinner or access to the front desk etc. This is inconvenient since there is nothing close by. In addition, they have no laundry facilities or services. Also, they should have towels at the pool; even if they charge money for them.
Review 15:It's a beautiful location and the apartments are reasonable and comfortable.
Review 16:bed quality is not as good as it must be in such place. is it really necessary to use my social account to sign in to wi-fi?
Review 17:swimming pool. location and view is realy grate. excellent restaurant on site. fully equipped kitchen.
Review 18:Need to take care of waste removal- not a problem, just need to plan accordingly.
Review 19:Quiet, comfortable, stunning view, close to Siena, Montalcino, etc. Spectacular drive to every place of interest (albeit not highways, but much more pleasant). Fully self-sustained place- you get everything, you need and stay on your own.
Review 20:Pool unfortunately not open when we were there because it's only April. Not so sure if it's accessible by public transport. The town felt quite isolated.
Review 21:Great interior design, utensils/pots provided with a small kitchenette. Perfect for group of friends to stay together.
Review 22:If you are looking for any activities, this is not a place for for you. Distances measured in km are small, but the roads are so curly, traveling takes time. Better to prepare for that.
Review 23:A place to relax. Two floor apartment is very nice, especially during hot season. A nice detail is day light -electric light arrangement in the bed. Shower is small for a medium size man.
Review 24:The ridiculous set up for shower/bathroom - you need a much larger bathroom for a wet room/area and a sloping floor to help drainage! And the swing glass door didn't provide much privacy. We were met by a rather grumpy lady on reception who could have told us about the food and wine festival in Murlo that night but didn't and when asked about places to eat in the village she only told us about a small pizzeria - no mention of a good friendly trattoria which is also where we heard about the festival. However Lady on reception at the weekend seemed far more pleasant and helpful. It was a funny place - restaurant/terrace seemed to have capacity to cater for a huge number of people yet there was hardly anyone there - the restaurant was virtually empty both evenings so we never ate there which was a shame as it has lovely views. Lots of rules posted about the apartment €3 charge for pool towel and additional hefty deposit required too (just for a towel!) . It's also a bit misleading as is described as located in Murlo (by which they probably meant the district). Murlo village is v pretty village c.3k away - the nearest village within walking distance is Vescovado di Murlo which is no where near as pretty!
Review 25:The views, beautiful rural and peaceful setting. Spotlessly clean rooms and pool.
Review 26:Amazing housekeeping staff! The room was kept perfectly clean. Delicious sweet rolls for the breakfast, picturesque views, fantastic swimming pool.
Review 27:very quit place for honey moon lovely
Review 28:Though marketed as architect designed accommodation the furniture in room was very basic and now looks bit shabby Kitchen cupboard design ridiculous had to hold up the door with one hand Very basic kitchen facilities Toiletries not replenished Restaurant food average quite expensive and very few people eating there though service was good No atmosphere Though was air con in two level apartment the upstairs was still hot and stuffy Showers small and wet room arrangement messy Had to pay extra 3 euros for towels to use by the pool Not really up to hotel standards more like B and B
Review 29:Different experience as set within a small village with doors off the street - liked this Views were fabulous Very quiet Lovely looking restaurant with comfortable seats Large rooms which could be divided by electric screen Lovely little pool if not busy
Review 30:Staff could have been more helpful. Also there didn't appear to be any bar facilities for drinks/snacks other than the rigid times set aside for lunch or dinner.Menu for dinner was ok but nothing special. Pool area was lovely but too small for the number of rooms.
Review 31:Fantastic views and the buffet breakfast was ideal for the children.
Review 32:I think the evening meal (half board) was a bit expensive but the restaurant is well decorated and the service was good. It would have been better to eat off the menu.
Review 33:Location location location! Set in the heart of Tuscany in its own little village within three hundred meters of one of the prettiest little villages in Italy. The hotel has a fantastic view of the landscape with a clear blue swimming pool and comfortable rooms with poster beds and good size bathrooms with a kitchenette and a living area. Well worth a visit. We booked for one night and left after two nights and then only because we had to leave for Rome. Will go back and for longer this time.
Review 34:1. design hotel with very expensive but stupid, over the top designs that did not increase comfort (eg glass screen extra in bathroom guaranteed to walk into in middle of night; othe glass screen made entering shower exceedingly difficult; chair backs in restaurant so high impossible to look out of window; swimming pool so narrow not more than 2 people at once can swim). 2. place is getting slightly shabby because necessary, obvious maintenance not done (e.g.: enormous crack in double glass window which could also no longer be opened, door handle to patio came off in your hand; bushes surrounding patio untrimmed and so high that view was blocked.
Review 35:beautiful setting, all amenities, good food
