Review 1：Booked a family room, while it is spacious it certainly needs renovation. The price per night is way too high for such room type, it needs some serious work.

Review 2：Dining room is renovated and the food is excellent! The staff is pleasant and we could check-in 3 hours earlier than usual!

Review 3：Room was not ready even though we checked in at 14.00 my son had vomited in the car so had to change him in the toilets. Even though a room had been allocated but not checked in we could not put the lunch on the room bill. I was sick during the night and needed to check out earlier one night cost 400 euro;s. I myself have been a hotel manager and if you leave earlier that is up to the hotels discretion. Totally disappointed. We be booking Sandton Hotels as usual next time excellent staff and service..........

Review 5：Loud band playing until 23:45 in lower stock just below our room. Mobile phone will not connect indoors. Bad management, staff seems poorly instructed.

Review 9：Driving in the area, especially in the morning and evening as roads are very narrow and there are many cyclists without lights; this is not a criticism of the hotel! It is not easy to find in the dark. The menu is a bit limited.

Review 33：...but the whole place needs a shake up. Very shabby in corridors, furniture stacked up to see, etc. The pool area is disappointing. The bar location is awful. It needs to open to the garden somehow. The front entrance steps need to be cleaner and more attractive. Only one lift which was always full of housekeeping staff. No fresh milk at breakfast. Our bathroom sink was blocked.

Review 35：The hotel did not deliver 4 star standard at all. It was totally average and nothing special whatsoever. It looked dated and the interior was not very nice at all (holes on the carpets, paint came off the walls). We booked a ´cozy room´ which was so disappointing. It was situated in the basement at the very end of a hallway that was decorated with way too many (and even ugly) paintings. The room was big, poorly decorated and even had a built in kitchennette along the wall right beside the bed. No idea why it was there as there was no dining table in the room. It did not really do anything to the ´cozy´ atmosphere in the room either. The breakfast was just basic and nothing to write home about. The price for the room (114 EUR) was way too much and I will not stay there again.

Review 40：We stayed in a standard room and got a ground floor room with a balcony.It was a super large room and really comfortable. The breakfast hadeverything you wanted.Renting bicycles from the hotel is very convenient too - although they are not in the best shape I've seen.

Review 42：They half cleaned our room although we did not ask for it and they tookall towels. I assume it was some sort of mistake. They left plastic bagand a bottle of detergent on our table. This was too unprofessional andI don´t expect things like this happening in so expensive hotel. Alsojacuzzi in our room was full of mildew, but it was only visible afterrunning the highest power of jets (This is kind of problem in almostevery jacuzzi).

Review 43：We stayed in luxury apartament and we liked it. Two rooms, kitchinette,nice balcony. Everything nicely furnished. Only the kitchinette wasawfuly unpretty, some really old stuff, and refridgerator did not work.But everything was clean and usable. Nice breakfast with all that dutchstuff and more, very tasty. At all - the hotel is not bad, it is justover priced. It wants to look like really classy one, but it is not. Weenjoyed the stay, but I would not pay so much for it if I knew thosesmall details which makes the difference. For that money, You can to getmuch more comfort.

Review 44：Breakfast on second day was in the basement, it was very warm and suffocating. Both mornings there was no sufficient warm omelet and it took a long time before it was supplemented.
