Review 1：This is a beautiful facility, with first rate breakfast in a lovely restaurant. The location is charming, and a quick walk to the harbor and commercial area.

Review 2：None of the menus had English translations that would have been helpful as an Northern Ireland Tourist. And the staff whilst lovely and accomodating could smile more. I worked in hotels myself, a smile goes a long way.

In the reception they didn't find my reservation,the room was not ready at 1:30 PM,WI-FI is very week in the room.Air conditioning was not cooling the room,i guess it was around +30 inside. The topic of all stay in 4 star hotel was,that we founded only one small towel in the room,and after two(!) requests in the lobby,they brought one more small one,but no large towels.Sorry to say,but this hotel is loosing previous reputation.

Review 13：No dark curtain on the window so light at 5 am in the room - for this class of hotel it was very poor, BUT staff tried to rectify it the next day. Kind of worked and at least we managed to sleep after 5 am. Internet not good. Found a bottle cap and a pair of swim goggles under the bed when I dropped something on the floor, so cleaning could be bit better.

Review 17：The hotel had a wedding. The staff did not care about standard hotel guests. All people were focused on the wedding. Nobody came to us. We waited too long and decided to leave. We felt generally ignored. Also, bathrooms were not very nice.

Review 41：The hotel is adjacent to the canal and within easy walking distance of the town centre and the lake? The hotel is a former castle with some splendid architecture inside and out The receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming allowing us to check in early on a wet Sunday morning. From our room we had a view of the canal and the ancient hand operated swing bridge.

In 5 minutes walk there is astreet of good restaurants? Nearby park with attractions. And very goodbreakfast!

Air conditioning was good as was the WiFi Food was very good and the bar was a relaxing space with a reasonably good selection of spirits but not many beers. Staff were helpful and generally reasonably friendly, There were a good selection of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance but you had to know the bridge opening times to avoid a longer walk. Overall it's definitely worth it's 4 stars and may be more!

Review 50：Excellent hotel in a partially rebuilt XIV century castle. Very nice vintage design and decorations. Located in the very center next to the canal and drawbridge. In close walking distance to Boyen Fortress. Good variety for breakfast.
