Surrounded by the sea and some of the country’s most beautiful dunes, Strandhotel Camperduin has an ideal location for a relaxing vacation filled with beach walks and fresh air. It includes a restaurant with sea view.
The dune area is grown with heath and forest and has many cycling, hiking and horseback riding paths.
The guest rooms have a view of the polder behind the Hondsbossche Zeewering. You will have a wide view of a beautiful bird watching area (Bird Reservation de Putten). On the other side of the hotel you have a view of the dune area of Schoorl. Guests need only to open their window to smell the sea.

Review 10：Excellent rural location near the beach. The staff were very accommodating to our young kids. The hotel is nestled between the dunes, the beach, and the cow pastures. Quiet and peaceful (it may be busier in the high season). We booked here as Bergen and Egmond where fully booked. A lovely discovery. Great for walking, hiking, and cycling.

Review 11：The price offered was Euro 60,00 per night, but they charged Euro 75,00 plus some taxes on top of that. I didn't complain because I had already paid when it occurred to me. Also not sure if it was the coffee which I had, which I reminded her of, but it wasn't specified.

Review 12：It's very close to the beach. The area is quite gorgeous. The Apartment (not via this booking) was spacious - room 2, with sound system, and large flat screen TV. For the price, perfect. My single room (no. 6) was ok. TV didn't work except if you plugged it in, but then only one channel at one specific, rather loud volume. Bed was fine, but a single bed, and just one thin little duvet (dekbed) is too little. Receptionist tried finding me blankets but couldn't and then forgot. I found some folded on top of a baby cot and took these with me, thinking they were for me, but when I thank the young receptionist the next day she said she hadn't arranged this. When we arrived reception was very distracted, it didn't occur to her to greet us and ask us to wait a few minutes, and then get back to her 7 - 10 minute long conversation. Staff got better though as the 2,5 days progressed. All in all it was fine for what we wanted this particular trip.

Review 13：The place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature.The rooms are very comfortable and have got a great view on the dunes or fields with horses. Pure nature.

Review 14：The owners are super friendly and accommodating! Nothing is to much and they are very helpful in explaining what activities can be done in surrounding villages and towns. Clean rooms and fantastic views from the room over the dunes! Great getaway for a romantic weekend for two. Right at the beach.

Review 15：maintenance could be improved; the so-called 'land-side' rooms, i.e. view on the street and parking lots, are not to be recommended; the modern 'design-shower' is not very functional, i.e. no doors, so you have to sweep up after every shower
