Reviews for Park Hotel Casimiro Village

Review 1:In our room you had to lie on the floor to look out of the windows. 4 stars but no fridge to cool our water. Undrinkable coffee, near impossible for Italy.

Review 2:Location

Review 3:The beds were very very uncomfortable. Rooms were small. Balcony was tiny. Dinner was not very nice, with bland food and a poor selection.

Review 4:The location was fantastic. Hotel was clean. Bathroom was large and very nice. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Nearby restaurants serving delicious food. Good entertainment staff.

Review 5:Rooms are ridiculous. Small. I booked triple room. Instead they gave me double room with the extra bad. No way to move around the room. No way to access the balcony. Horrible.

Review 6:Located on the lake side

Review 7:The wifi kept turning off all the time.Evening meals and bar shut quite early.

Review 8:Comfy roomy beds and clean and lovely rooms, great having two pools and right on the lake too where you can swim though pretty slippery - take flipflops to wear in the water. Lovely garedn with loungers. Amazing views and good choice of food.

Review 9:Hard to find, but worth it when you get there. It's actually Portese, which is just past San Felice. Once we knew that and found yellow signs for the hotel it was easy to find.

Review 10:Very helpful reception. Incredible views you could never tire of!!

Review 11:For an Italian hotel the breakfast was outstanding. The staff are happy and helpful. Free afternoon tea and coffee with cake. The pool was large and clean. Plenty of parking. Good value for the price

Review 12:There was no town within walking distance, the breakfast was sub-par,there were no activities close by, rental of kayaks, paddle boards, youhad to pay for beach and pool lounges with umbrella, the wi-fi- we hadto pay for and never worked, the staff spoke little english, and therewas a 20hr dj playing loud dance music.

Review 13:It was a nice view from our deck.

Review 14:Outdated furniture/decor with smell to match -- poor quality food without a/c in the dining area -- no WiFi available in the bedrooms and only six hours free in the common areas after a registration process -- perhaps a four star advertisement but the experience of a two star at best.

Review 15:Restaurants outside the hotel.

Review 16:Regarding activities nearby you can rent a mountain bike in Salo but not on Sunday as they are closed.

Review 17:Our room 517 was newly refurbished, nice and clean. It was located on a ground floor and had a nice patio to chill out. There are 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool and a spa area. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choos from. It takes 2 min to get to a boat and 1 h walk to get to Salo (if you like active holiday you will enjoy it).

Review 18:We booked a triple room in this hotel. Right after the welcome at the reception, we had to pay in advance, without seeing our room.1. Reception:The person at the reception asked for our travelling documents. We provided our passports and after checking in, we asked for giving back our passports. They told us, that they need some time to get the data to their system and we will receive our documents only on the next day. (Sorry, it does not work! We asked immediately for our documents)2. Room:The not properly isolated room what we received was situated on the corner and had a common door with the room next to us (so we could hear every noise – from outside and our neighbours with small children too). We wanted to change the room for a quiet one, but during this period, the hotel was quite overbooked. Firstly, they showed us a double room (smaller, without balcony, old fashioned furnitures and bath, the room was smelling);Secondly, they showed us a double room (smaller, without balcony and with older bathroom).Thirdly, they showed us a triple room. The furniture and the bathroom was very-very old fashioned (bath and furniture from the 70s or 80s; the wallpaper was dirty and scratched and the room was smelling, but with lake-view!). We decided for the second offer, but as it was an another price category, we asked for a price reduction (double room). The hotel manager at the reception was unable to change the price, they forced us to take the double room for the triple room price. After that we wanted to cancel the whole reservation and get our money back, they said: it is not possible!3. Food:The meat and fish was OK, but the rest was NOT OK at all (cheap ham and cheese at the breakfast, low-cost drinks and desserts of lower quality)4. WIFI:There is only 6 hours free WIFI and only in the lobby room. The rest should be extra paid.

Review 19:Lake-view

Review 20:The opening hours of the pool/spa were at strange times, and the "entertainment" during Happy Hour was way to loud. We felt like we were screaming to have a conversation despite the fact that we were sitting next to each other.

Review 21:The hotel is in a beautiful location, however there isn't much nearby. It took us about an hour to walk to the nearest town with restaurants and shops. Our room was clean and newly renovated which was lovely. The staff was nice, although not many that we communicated with spoke English. Overall a really nice stay and a great value for money.

Review 22:the breakfast was poor. wifi is not available in the rooms and cost 5 euro for 2 days. staff wasnt polite. the way to the hotel is extremely difficult.

Review 23:The view of the hotel is amazing and there was free parking.

Review 24:Waiters are not that friendly. Quality of food at evening buffet meal is only OK. Not gourmet , by anyone's standards. Room on first floor are very dated. Bathrooms need to be renovated

Review 25:Great location Clean Helpful staff on reception Great bar location overlooking the lake

Review 26:Formula all inclusive

Review 27:Nothing.

Review 28:The location of the hotel is in an excellent spot on the lake. My wife and I had a great stay, very pleased

Review 29:The location is very good and the team are great

Review 30:no problems

Review 31:wonderful views from a lovely room

Review 32:Nothing

Review 33:This was a great place to stay, everything was excellent,we can'twait to return. Free beer and wine all day!!!!!!!! What a bonus.

Review 34:Next time book a superior

Review 35:Perfect Ambiente for holiday

Review 36:Less vegi option in food n reaching hotel by public transport is very difficult.

Review 37:Nice hotel infront of canel, good food n english speaking staff

Review 38:Did not like the fact that all these tour busses arrived with loads of tourists!

Review 39:Loved the location and the pool.

Review 40:Great view, great food, great place. Better impossible.

Review 41:Paying for WIFI is something quite surprising nowadays.

Review 42:SPA quite good even if too small.

Review 43:The location

Review 44:There is no internet access in the rooms.

Review 45:But more restaurants The lack of staff at reception The rooms are really dated, smell of must and need to be renovated. The rooms need upgrading The systems in the restaurant need to be sorted especially how people keep taking the cooked eggs.

Review 46:The Location The Pool

Review 47:We had some problems with the not-partial billing-system (not cause by the staff) at the drinkbar. The bigest problem was that we had only a short period of time to eat the dull breakfast and diner. We had only one keycard for 3-4 person/room.

Review 48:We liked the drinks and the staff, and the beautiful panorama. We liked some part of the staff at the bar and gym, exactly Carmelo and Diana, who were very kind to us.

Review 49:- The food was excellent, the atmosphere was good, the view from the rooms are great. The rooms are very tidy. I don't understand why so many people on booking.com are negative about this hotel. We had a wonderful vacation there!

Review 50:1. The room was a little older and needed a little touch up.2. The dining room was very loud and at times to warm. I did not like the guest that were not very pleasant. But they would not have been happy anyplace. In June we expect Hot Weather so I cannot complain about the heat. But I will not go back in June - August. :)

Review 51:1.We were lucky to be placed in a house separate from the main complex. The room was large and had a large bathroom with a small shower.2. The Air Conditioner worked. 3. The room was on the bottom floor , It had a pouch and two chairs and a table. Our view was directly to the water. 4. The staff kept the room very clean and we had fresh towels everyday. 5. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. 6. Our meals were outstanding and each day we had a different taste treat. 7: We were lucky not to be placed in the rooms in the middle of the hotel. The rooms looked like a hall way and lots of kids. If you look for things you do not like you can always find them. I like to go on hotels where I have it nicer than I do at home. However to do that the price would be way out of my pocket book range. So this Hotel was OK.

Review 52:Very dated hotel, room decor out of date and not as comfortable as would of liked. No changing room at indoor pool, pool water was not warm enough at indoor pool. Hotel layout is very poor, required a lot of walking and stairs and lifts between room and pool and other hotel facilities (i.e. between room and indoor pool was around 200metres requiring use of 4 lifts). Breakfast was extremely poor, as food was of a very low quality (i.e. tinned sausages, and powdered eggs, or low quality continental breakfast products, fruit juices were low content real juice and yoghurt's were low fruit content, no real fruit offered). Would suggest 4th star is not well deserved, feels more like 3* package holiday. A feeling of pack 'em high, keep costs low, profit high.

Review 53:Location was good, quite little part of lake Garda. Parking convenient

Review 54:Very limited public transport made getting to the hotel and day trips very difficult (5 hours from airport by bus, train and boat!). Hiring a car would have made our stay much easier. Extra costs for things such as sunbeds and towels for swimming. On out first day we couldn't get a sunbed because they were all reserved, although quite a lot weren't actually being used as most people seemed to reserve them for their whole stay. After this however, we were quite lucky in getting the free sunbeds every day. Buffet food was just ok, especially considering it's supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

Review 55:The views are amazing. The layout of the hotel was very spacious. Never had to wait to be seated at meals. The receptionists were helpful, good knowledge of public transport. The pool was clean and nice. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels. Room a good size, large wardrobe with a safe inside. All-inclusive food, with drinks (pop, beer, wine).

Review 56:The decor of the hotel didnt quite meet my expectations as it looks somuch better on the internet. But for the money it was excellent value.

Review 57:The position of the hoetl was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good and evening meal good.

Review 58:The rooms are quite small and old. They are definately not up to 4 starstandard, however the views make up for that.

Review 59:The hotel has the most amazing situation, right on the lake withbeautiful views. The pools and gardens are very well maintained andreally lovely. The staff were very friendly and were really helpfuland spoke excellent english. It was ideal for my toddler who loved thepool and lake.

Review 60:Basic rooms, but fine for what I wanted and didn't spend much time init. The breakfast wasn't good. I didn't bother with it 2 days, they needfresh coffee and fresh fruit. One of the receptionists rolls her eyeswhen you ask her anything...but the other blonde girl could not havebeen better.

Review 61:Difficult to find a better location, amazing view of the lake. 3 poolsand plenty of places to lounge around.

Review 62:The only downside is that it is perhaps a little too isolated - with not much else in the vicinity and the ferry crossings were not often enough.

Review 63:The position of this hotel - right on the edge of the lake with wonderful views. The hotel staff were very good - polite - courteous - the reception staff were very knowledgeable about the area - bus timetables and ferry timings. Multi lingual so could help all nationalities. The hotel was very very clean and looked to be recently refurbished.

Review 64:no A/C, no elevator, limited time for breakfast

Review 65:location/view

Review 66:Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and extremely friendly and helpful Staff. Especially Laura in the bar ;)

Review 67:A brilliant hotel with best value for money in the nicest location one could think about - directly at the waterfront of lake di Garda !

Review 68:Very poor food, no towel hire for sunbeds or spa. Restaurant staff seemed unfriendly as they hardly ever smiled.

Review 69:Location and setting. Gardens
