Reviews for Steves Villas

Review 1:Stone building, stone floors, very cold in winter. Also big building immediately to the south blocking any view and sun. Pleasant town to stay in.

Review 2:House was roomy

Review 3:You should control the pets especially the cats..not all people likes them. I likes them ,but sometimes they were annoying us. We couldn't sit outside and eat because they were coming to the table trying to jump on to the table. 1 time they jumped on it and ate the food while we were in the pool..

Review 4:It was nice to live in a old maltese villa.

Review 5:Everything is there but some things need upgrading. Unfortunately, pool is mostly in the shade.

Review 6:Farmhouse is great. Loved the layout. Outdoor space is fantastic.

Review 7:The farmhouse was almost impossible to find due to ongoing roadworks in Xaghra. The pool was not cleaned before our arrival, and since there is no air-conditioning in the bedrooms, it was almost impossible to sleep with only a fan in the blistering August heat. Some basic condiments like salt, pepper, oil and sugar in the kitchen would help to make a self-catering stay there more enjoyable.

Review 8:The outside area was beautiful, with a relatively big swimming pool and enough eating and lounging area to make our stay enjoyable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms were spacious and clean.

Review 9:The doors were a bit rusty, and the TV sometimes lost connection.

Review 10:I liked the quietness of the place. Eventhough there are construction works by the farmhouse, it wasn't noisy at all.

Review 11:Only downside was that the private pool was quite dirty. Most likely because it was winter season.

Review 12:Very close to many points of interest in the city of Xgħajra, such as the Gigantja megaliths. 5 minutes walk away from the city center. 5 minutes away by bus to Victoria, where you can connect to any other place in the island via the bus station. The villas are very clean and comfortable.

Review 13:no plug adaptor for the toaster, fireplace grate was broken.

Review 14:Well equipped kitchen, ensuite bathrooms with hot water, new and comfortable bedding, heaters in the room.Fireplace :)

Review 15:nothing seriously wrong with this accomadation, there is a place being built next door, but they wasnt there while we were there, it needs two or three tea towels, one is not enough, it was such a nice place i would have bought a couple if i had seen some, the sqaure was good value and pleasent. i would go again, thank you, george.

Review 16:the comfort and location, with the square five minuets walk, the pool was nice and was filtered two or three times a day. it has an olde world feel and look to it which pleased the four of us, i would have no problem staying here again, thank you.

Review 17:Very hot and no air conditioning. Not all windows had mesh screens and several of those that were in place were ripped or did not fit snuggly so problems with biting insects at night. Only two of the 6 single beds had mattress protectors. Was unaware of major building work going on next door and garden looked over unsightly building site. luckily no work done during our stay but this would have been a major problem

Review 18:Fantastic location a short walk from the square. Quiet location if you disregard the canon fire used to scare the birds from the vineyards Pool was great and cleaned twice during our stay. People very friendly and helpful.

Review 19:LOVED our villa! We had an amazing time. We had a few personal issues and the host staff was nothing short of a blessing. Would go back again any time, we give it our highest recomendation! Perfect home, beautiful pool, great location!

Review 20:Beautiful

Review 21:No dedicated parking - and even parking on the road nearby was a bit tricky

Review 22:Quietness. Lots of space in the villa. Comfortable

Review 23:Very poor shower facilities

Review 24:Cheap accomodation,

Review 25:The fact that it is situated bt two building sites.

Review 26:As above.

Review 27:The lounge area or the couches could be slightly better

Review 28:The location was wonderful. The villa is full of features. The villa TaNinu has a wonderful pool and garden area in middle of quietsurroundings, nearby the center of Xagħra. Facilities are perfect. Wewould stay to 100% again!

Review 29:The location was excellent and the villa is full of features. It has a lovely pool area and set in quiet surroundings even though it's in a residential area. Facilities are fine, adding wifi would be a great asset. I would definitely stay again!

Review 30:Furniture is a bit tacky. Kitchen has basic equipment which has seen better days. Showers in the bathrooms trickle water slowly.

Review 31:Many cats around

Review 32:Very old and authenic
