Review 1：The family owners, Yuzuru-san & Miyuki-san are the very friendly, and knowledeable about the shiretoko area. Homely atmosphere & outstanding value for money.
Review 2：Comfort of the room, lack of facilities eg dinner that was not offered & had to travel into town where restaurants were extremely limited esp as it wss a Sunday night! Overpriced....paying extra for locaton only!

Review 5：What's not to like? Great views, very comforfable and clean bedding, friendly staff, wifi that works in the room, japanese style breakfasts the envy of some 5☆ hotels...and THE VIEW FROM THE BEDROOM okay I mentioned that already.
Review 6：Hard to find the entrance. You have to hand carry luggages to your rooms, no elevator neither smooth path way from the parking space to the hotel.

Review 8：No AC so I was a little warm at night. The fan in the room only helped a little. Sometimes The wifi would connect but Internet was so slow we would get kicked off again, maybe it doesn't work in the rooms or maybe there were too many people using it.
Review 9：It was a pleasant little hotel right on the water. There was a commons room with free coffee and tea and the guest rooms were large and clean. It's in a great location and not too far to walk into town. My family and I really enjoyed this hotel and the price was great too. The staff spoke some English and I saw them diligently studying English during my entire stay.

Review 11：Very friendly and helpful staff. They provided an additional service to collect our luggage back to the hotel while making another trip over to pick us back to and from the hotel later. The room provided a sea view, which was superb!

Review 15：We rented the apartment which can easily sleep 7 adults. comes with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms with beds and tatami, 1 toilet and 1 bathroom. there's no aircon but night time is cool in Utoro.

Review 18：We stayed in the apartment - which was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It had more than enough room for our family of 5. We had a hire car and the apartment was a perfect base for our three days exploring Shiretoko. It is not fancy but for the price, is excellent value. My emails before arrival were all answered promptly and in English.

Review 22：Iruka hotel was clean and cosy, the room was surprisingly big compared to the other hotel rooms in hokkaido, and the sea view from the room was really beautiful! The owners were really nice! As the hotel was slightly far away from Utoro central, the owners would offer a ride to central and also pick guests up from central. Knowing that I did not manage to book the Night tour, the owner offered to drive a few of us out for some star-gazing. (It was one of the highlights of my trip)

Review 24：Great staff who helped with my bags due to minor injuries. Probably the best night view back towards to main town area. Very clean and cosy. Washing machine facilities on top level are useful. How ever I'd only recommend to perple with a car.

Review 26：The staff/owner are very nice people and very helpful. They even pick us up at bus terminal when we arrived and also drive us back when we checked out. The view fm our room that facing the sea is stunning especially during sunset n sunrise. We can watch the color of sky changing gradually.....so mesmerizing. I missed Iruka already :(

One of the evenings we even bought our raw stuff from convenience store to cook at the kitchen. Tasty breakfast, excellent hospitality from the owner and her sons. Can even do own laundry in the apartment
