Holiday house Mednieku Namiņš is a former Baron hunting lodge and Baroness tea house located in the Gauja National Park. Guests are welcome to use a sauna or relax on a terrace with a picturesque view of the forest and Gauja valley. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and a private parking near the house.
Mednieku Namiņš with it's historic atmosphere features a living room with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. There is a fully equipped kitchenette that includes a cooker, an oven and a refrigerator. Meals can be enjoyed at a traditional, wooden table. There is also a terrace with barbecue facilities. Review 1：Nothing. Everything was OK. We had a great time!
Review 2：Not so far to Sigulda as I thought before arriving, just 10' by car. On the other hand you are isolated in a peaceful surrounding, but private car is mandatory. The house was very comfortable, clean & well equiped, shame we had no time to profit the sauna. Owner was very flexible and everything went smoothly form arrival to departure.
Review 3：There is a very steep and narrow stairway to the upstairs bedrooms, making this rental unsuitable for elderly or handicapped persons. The upstairs double bed was firmer than I would prefer, but the 2 singles are somewhat softer. I wish that there were electrical outlets in the 2 half bathrooms, and that there was also a wall mirror in the downstairs half bath. The extra electrical outlets and mirror would allow more people to get ready in the morning at one time. However, I still think this property is great, and I would certainly rent it again. It was the cleanest, largest, and most updated unit I stayed in while in Latvia.
Review 4：Lovely updated historic home with modern amenities. Home has large windows overlooking the large fenced yard and surrounding forest. There is an outdoor patio with furniture, as well as a huge grassy area for children to play on. There is a very modern small kitchen, and a shower/sauna/laundry room. There is a half bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms, and a half bath downstairs separate from the shower room. There was plenty of space for 2 couples to relax
