Review 1：The resort needs a good clean down outside, repairs & painting to bring it up to standard. Staff in the dining room were unattentive, food was ordinary, coffee machine broken, food at breakfast was not topped up. Friends we travelled with didn't have water in their room, others didn't have soap.
Review 2：The location was great, beautiful view. The only staff that we would recommend was the Barman, he was always smiling and very attentive. Receptionests were pleasent.
Review 3：The hotel is clearly in decline. They try to save money on every occasion: the shuttle bus service to Taormina has been stopped, the breakfast is as cheap as possible, like 3 days old cake. No access to the beach the whole day because of elevator maintenance, both at the same time. Hotel lives of its substance and great location, but renovation needs start to be detected on many places.

Review 9：As our reservation was for the middle of October it would have been to know beforehand that there facilities were not open. The only restaurant open was a buffet and cost 25 euro for dinner. The food was horrible as well and the location of the hotel was so far from town that you had to either have a car or take a cab at 20 euro to get to another restaurant.

Review 15：Both the sea platform and pools close at 5:30/6 pm... This is twoearly (especially for the pools) in my opinion. We ended up swimmingmore at local beaches as we wanred a dip after site seeing and the hotelseaplatform and pools were closed. If you want a local beach with easierparking head left (north) from the hotel rather than back to Taormina.The availability of swimming after The hotel is a long way from othertowns, making it necessary to have a car to access services outside ofthe hotel. Note that it's difficult to get food at the hotel outsidetheir limited restaurant hours. Room decor is very dated and the roomshave no mini bar.... But they do have a mini bar price list, go figure.Hotel grounds were looking a little over grown, weeds etc... Wi Fi speedis very slow. In short this hotel needs a lot of work to be what I wouldconsider 4 star standard.

Review 17：The breakfast is quite poor. the pool opened only at 10 which didn't leave is too much time in the pool as we were required to check out at 11... and we came for 1 night only.
