Reviews for Cieszyński Hotel & Restaurant
Review 1:Nothing was so much negative.
Review 2:I stayed in this very hotel for the first time, although Cieszyn/Tesin is not new for me at all. The hotel is in the centre of the town, close to everything you might need. There are no, simply to say, positive words to describe the perfect way the staff communicate with their guests! Dziekuje bardzo!
Review 3:No
Review 4:This was a very comfortable hotel.Room was small but adequate.receptionists was friendly and helpful.Brillant location just around the corner from the main square. Beautiful little town ideal for stopover if you wished to travel to Prague.Take the train from Cesky Tesin to prague cost 11euro. Would have liked to spend a few more days in Cieskyn.
Review 5:Everybody was friendly and helpful. The Hotel Manager looked after us very well giving all sorts of useful advice on local tourist attractions, recommending places to eat and drink in Cieszyn.
Review 6:I really enjoyed the friendlyness of all the staff at the hotel. The quality of the food was really good and the price of everything was very good. Would come back to the hotel again, Its in a great location and booking a taxi was easy if we needed to go anywhere.
Review 7:It was so hot in the room that we couldn't sleep. When we opened a window, we couldn't sleep either because of the noise. We asked more than 3 times for fan but we didn't get one. The room is more like hostel than hotel... For this price, we expected something better.
Review 8:Hotel staff is amazing! Always smiling and helpful. Good WiFi
Review 9:Free wifi but very limited connectivity. Minor issue with the key lock in room 101, almost impossible to have it locked from the inside.
Review 10:The staff was really nice and always helpful. The rustic interior is adding to the climate of the surrounding old town, the facility is kept in excellent shape. The location is the best possible if you plan to visit Cieszyn or the region.
Review 11:the town clock gonged all night long on the 1/4 hour and each hour to make for a lousy sleep! Also bed sheets didn't fit well...
Review 12:great location and cute hotel
Review 13:The public spaces within the hotel are all tiled surfaces, so the noise of other guests can appear quite loud - recommend using ear-plugs if you a light sleeper. Quite limited breakfast buffet - town square is less than a 5mins walk for alternative choices.
Review 14:Exceptionally friendly staff, smiling at all times and willing to help with all enquiries. Really neat, clean and tidy rooms. 20mins walk to/from the Cesky Tesin Train Station (even if there is a slight uphill section towards the hotel).
Review 15:We stayed here at the end of may but the room was very cold, probably because of the old windows.
Review 16:Tidy, cozy room, good quality flat screen, delicious english breakfast.
Review 17:Only black mark was having to pay for an second cup of (very nice!) coffee at breakfast.
Review 18:Very nice location, just off the Rynek, with parking (paid 10 zl) quite close. We had one room in main building and another in former stable block with nice verandah area overlooking courtyard. Very welcoming staff.
Review 19:The WiFi was non-existent, the hotel room was quite dated and theheating was so noisy we could barely sleep.
Review 20:Good location, close to the city's picturesque main square. For thebreakfast consisting of 4 different choices, we were charged 5 Euros pp.The English plate was quite tasty, the Polish so and so.
Review 21:The room was comfortable and clean, although would benefit from a bit of TLC. The 'English' breakfast was not quite what some people would expect, but was tasty all the same.
Review 22:Just off the main square and so it was quiet but within easy walking distance of everything. Michal, at reception, was a fountain of knowledge and was very polite and helpful at all times. Room was quiet and clean. Choice of 3 national breakfasts, and staff were receptive to specific requests too.
Review 23:Good location, adjacent to the old squad and about 10- 15 mins walk to the Czech border & train station. Its also very clean & comfortable. Very helpful, genuine staff. I would recommend to friend and family.
Review 24:I had the impression that this is a relatively new hotel and has a few glitches to put right. I was charged twice on my credit card for the stay. By the time I had arrived, the hotel had reimbursed me and upgraded my room and given a free cooked breakfast as fair recompense. I had some laundry to be done and the hotel offered a 24 hour service which was expensive for Poland hotels. One t shirt was not returned to me by the time I left the hotel in spite of promises from staff. At the time of writing it has still not been sent to me. The breakfast is only cooked and it is recommended that it is pre-ordered. Tasty white sausage though. This seems like a negative review, but I just think these are relatively minor glitches which, once solved, would make this a great place to stay
Review 25:Location was perfect- just off the pretty main square. The receptionist who greeted me was friendly and very helpful. I had a large room on the ground floor off the little courtyard. Room was clean and well presented.
Review 26:acoustics. Noisy if someone gets up early and talks loudly and shuffles their luggage along the floor like a guest did at 7am.
Review 27:Location. It is off the main square so it is quieter. Very clean. The nice lady at the front desk was so helpful for information on how to get back to Katowice airport.
Review 28:Very good position. Rooms clean and quiet. Staff very kind and helpful. Suggested
Review 29:Breakfast includes only 1 cup of Coffee. If You paid in advance With a credit Card and You have no Polish cash it is a problem.
Review 30:Very friendly staf.
Review 31:Wonderfull, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Location is very convenient.
Review 32:The town hall clock strikes every 15mins and you can hear it every time.
Review 33:Excellent friendly staff, right next to the main square.
Review 34:Great value good location
Review 35:Nice and professional personel
Review 36:A quiet and friendly hotel just off the old square. Good service; no problems at all.
Review 37:I liked the position - close to the square and very friendly staff. Parking is available not far from the hotel.
Review 38:There is no coffe and tea set in room, and after 22.00 when the reception is close, it's impossible to make hot drinks.
Review 39:Bed is too small with sheets even smaller not appropriate for the bed
Review 40:Great location. Property well preserved
Review 41:The wifi was very very weak.
Review 42:Good location, large room.
Review 43:nothing
Review 44:Great breakfast and super location.
Review 45:Room was clean but needs renovation or at least refreshment. Hotel offers 3-4 types of breakfast. I have chosen French one . Do not recommend it after all. Expected light breakfast and received kind of a desert - only sweet stuff - very sweet yogurt, sweet cream cheese, 2 types of jam and greasy croissant with chocolate = missunderstanding!!
Review 46:Friendly and helpful stuff. Great location , nice surroundings. Despite of some expected improvements I'll visit this place again.
Review 47:You get a chip to get in to the hotel after the reception is closed (after 10PM). We wanted to go to our room at 9.30PM, the doors were locked, the reception was closed and the chip didn't work. (it showed a green light as we tried it when we went out) The phone number on the door was only to the reception (which was closed and no one answered) We had all our things, money, passports in our room and couldn't get in. Coincidentally we ran into a young man, who helped us. After several phone calls and 1,5 hours of waiting the hotel owner arrived and opened the door and we got in to our room. Next morning we got no compensation. So be careful when leaving the hotel for dinner!
Review 48:The car park was fenced, and secure, that was for us very important. The location was good, central but quiet.
Review 49:Staff said parking was free but then asked for £2 per day? Communication problem. Easy to park on street in town for free after 6pm. We stayed in the garden room in the courtyard, which is dark, quite cold and noisy when people sit right outside your door and windows at the bistro tables. Avoid this room.
Review 50:Perfect central location. Nearby secure parking. Staff spoke good English and were helpful. Recommend nearby restaurant called Winiarnia u Czecha. Really nice beer & wine and food menu. Didn't eat at hotel so can't comment.
Review 51:this is a very small point, but the WIFI signal could have been a bit better in the room, but as it is a very minor point.
Review 52:It is the second time I have stayed at the hotel this year and I must say the staff have always been very friendly. The location is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.
Review 53:The wood floor a little bit noisy.
Review 54:All the staff was really kind. They allow me to have dinner really late and give me indication on parking. The price / quality ratio is extremly convenient.
Review 55:The Hotel is very noisy due there being no soft furnishings to deaden the noise from the reception area. Bar and restaurant only open at limited times and days
Review 56:Location to town centre
Review 57:Perfect one night stay! Excellent staff, neat rooms, and the location was great as we walked from the bus stop in Cieszyn end then to the train station in Cesky Tesin the following day. Great stay!
Review 58:Location is perfect, value for money is perfect, comfortable, cleaners do a brilliant job and the staff are just amazing. Returned to this hotel 3 or 4 times and will return again next time I'm in cieszyn.
Review 59:the cold room
Review 60:staff
Review 61:No heating to speak of at the apartment. An odd arangement for parking a car. Would not stay at it again.
Review 62:The location and the spatious apartment.
Review 63:The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great value for money and the location is perfect for exploring the city. Will return.
Review 64:Wifi was not very reliable.
Review 65:Friendly, small, neat and with very helpful staff.
Review 66:Very good situated in the center of the City. Parking avaliable near of hotel. Quasi familial ambianc
Review 67:beautiful, old and sensitively renovated building
Review 68:No facilities. Romm was not cleaned and beds not made for the 2 days we stayed there.
Review 69:Excellent location for the town and surrounding countryside
