Review 1：Everything was great.

Review 2：Very very good value for price. Great nice location close to towers of churches. We had room with sea view - small balcony with outstanding view. Having that room with that view and breakfast for 70 euro was a really great value.

Review 3：IMHO twin beds pulled together do not equal 1 bed as requested.

Review 4：I liked the location near the small port, but others might prefer closer to the main port, which is s 15 minute walk away. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Not just sweet breads and cakes. Host accommodated early hydrofoil times.

Review 5：Casa Mafalda is situated at the other end of the main street of Lipari town. The room we had was more like a small two-storey flat - the whole old house was very nicely modernized. Reception was friendly and the breakfast beautifully laid out and delicious. There is a beach where you can swim only 100 m away, just as the owner promised:-), and everything in the town is at walking distance.

Review 6：The location was at the end part of the center, but as lipari is small, it's fine. Futher as we had to leave early we got a breakfast take-away and some coffee :-) The room was clean and comfortable

Review 10：We enjoyed 5 days last august 2015, in one of the family room (2 adults & 2 kids). The place is quiet, kept very clean, and the owners extremely friendly. Location is great, allowing to go in city center (i.e. restaurants !) by foot very quickly and easily. As mentioned, the presence of the small supermarket 10m nearby is very useful (water bottles are heavy !!). We really enjoyed our stay, and got good advices and support for activities (Mehari tour of Lipari, Vulcano's climbing,...) by the owner. We definitely recommend this place !

Review 12：The apartment was a nice surprise in an otherwise neglected city. It is beautifully designed, spotless and quite classy with lovely touches created by the use of light wood, dark timber beams, books, a striking original painting. Also the kitchen and the small patio are welcoming and well equiped. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We chose this B&B because of the close proximity to the port and very pleased because it took us only 5 minutes on foot. We definitely recommend a stay in this B&B.

Rooms were standard ikea furniture but we're good sized and did the job. Left early one morning & they left a packed breakfast for us which was a really nice touch. Wouldn't question staying here again.

Review 31：Location was next to the marina where we a few minutes from restaurants. The supermarket was next door and the accommodation had a fridge we could store cold drinks. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fish and fruit. There was a roof terrace which overlooked the water and we could sunbathe in privacy. Very clean and tidy- recommend.

Review 32：The location is actually very good and within walking distance of the marina (where the tours depart from) and shops, but getting to the apartment from the main port is a bit difficult if you have luggage. Best to catch a taxi or a bus.

Review 33：Very gracious and accommodating owners - our room was not available when we arrived and we were in desperate need of a shower after having travelled for more than 20 hours, not to mention we were under a time crunch as we were meant to join a day tour soon after checking in, but they got it ready extremely quickly and we were very grateful for that! The room was clean, spacious, and all amenities were available. Breakfast was lovely.

Review 34：When we arrived at casa Mafalda with my family, Raoul the business owner had informed us that he overlooked our reservation, he was so upfront of his mistake and was so apologetic he immediately booked us in a 4 star hotel only 150m up the road he also pickup the extra chargers of 160 Euros. Review 37：You are far from the nicest beaches in Lipari, but it is not a major problem. There are buses or taxis that go everywhere on the island. I actually preferred being close to the center for going out in the evening.

Review 38：We got a triple room which was really cheap for the size it had. It had two floors, with sofa and bathroom on the first, and the beds on the second. It was really clean! Moreover it was less than one minute away from the center of Lipari. The breakfast was also really good: there were croissants, cannoli, and a homemade cake. There was even fish to eat. I definitely recommend this place.

Review 72：The owner's family was very friendly and go out of their way to help, despite limited english. The location is excellent. It is not only near the action center (only steps away from the Marina and the piazza where locals gather, so a great place to people watch while eating/drinking; it is also a few minutes' walk from the "main street" where there are many shops and restaurants and tourists :-)), but also a Super Mercado right next door to the B&B which conveniently provides our daily grocery need. Breakfasts were excellent. The room was spacious, bedroom upstairs and living space downstairs. We have to specially thank the owner, Raoul. He made a special trip to drive our luggages to the port on our departure, when we inquired about taking a taxi (rolling luggage on historical cobble stone streets takes a little effort and we were trying to save some energy for the remaining day of traveling). We were really satisfied with our stay at Casa Malfada and will recommend to our friends and others.

He helped me locate a friend's relative who was in her 80s, didn't speak any English and I didn't have a phone number for her and I didn't speak Italian. We liked our private entrance off a little square and enjoyed our lovely balcony with a handy clothesline. Owner provided us with computer access upon request.
