Review 2：Stayed for 5th time. Perfect as always. Kind and very friendly owner. Breakfest in room at a time you ask the previous night. Good price. Very clean room!!! Quiet. Car parking in the yard. Beautiful garden with apple trees :) will stay next time also!

Review 4：Our room was clean and quiet with a separate entrance. Delicious breakfast of good quality was brought to our room in the morning. The host was friendly and spoke some Russian ( it could be important to East European travellers). Wonderful green garden.

Review 5：Accommodation run with love as much as a business, with so many small touches, like the fine breakfast served under the apple trees, and the comfortable chairs on the verandah outside our room. A good place from which to explore the beautiful Augustow lake area on foot and by car. Lively small town with market and other facilities.

Review 7：The kitchen is only equipped with the microwave oven and the kettle. No cooker so you don’t have a choice if you don’t want to eat warmed-up fast-food – order the breakfast here.

Review 8：Very nice and beautiful place. The building is located in a calm district, surrounded by a small garden with patio and creates the atmosphere of the old-fashioned houses with numerous pictures and paintings on the walls. The room was a little bit small but very comfortable.

Review 9：Parking was congested, nearby free parking on street was better. Room and bathroom were tiny, fine for overnight stay but unsuitable for longer holiday

Review 11：The privat parking inside the fence is very small. We told that we will leave at 8.00 am. We were ready already at 7.30, waited for 15 min and then went to ask the owner's help. He had to wake up a couple to come and move their car so we were able to drive out. Not a big problem anyway.

Review 12：Everything was great! The room is quite and clean;we've found the hotel very easily. There is a kettle and a refrigerator in a room, tea and coffee are upstairs. The city centre is about 10min walk from the hotel. Thanks Pavel, we liked the accommodation!

Review 14：Everything- the staff was superfriendly and helpfull, the room was very nice and clean with separate entrance from garden side, I had very late checkout that was extra bonuss.

Review 15：Noisy street under window. Cant leave window open. Payment collection upon leaving day: the man came knocking on door asking for payment because he had to leave. It was weird and a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise we were happy with our stay.

Review 17：Set in a private garden with coffee making facilities provided this was the perfect place for me - economical with a good, if basic breakfast brought to me in my room. The host was generous to me too when I cleaned out all my cash paying the bill (no credit card payments possible).

Review 18：Cozy guesthouse 10 min away by foot from Augustow center. Very nice, quiet place with green patio, friendly host, excellent breakfast. Definitely recommend and come again!

Review 24：when we enter the door and see all that old mirrors we thought it was a fairy tale! full of amazing old fashioned details, the room is new, perfectly clean and comfortable. the owner are really nice persons. And not least the amazing backyard garden, it really seems a dream. We highly recommend!

Review 27：Nothing bad to say,great place; cosy, clean and quiet. Staff and owners are super helpful and friendly. Guesthouse itself is beautiful, and backyard is lovely place to have a homemade breakfast.(it was delicious) Short way to the beach and center is less than 10 min walk away. Would go to Stary Dom anytime again.

Review 28：Parking place is quite small so I recommend that you arrive before evening to this place. Breakfast is very typical: coffee is bad and no becon etc.

Review 29：Rooms are well equipped and garden is really beatiful. It is family run business and they live in the same place which makes place comfortable and homy. Owners are really flexible (we had to re-schedule our second stop at augustow and they arranged it without any hassles)

Review 30：The parking lot was full, and we had no choice but to leave our car next to the road. That was unpleasent suprise, because safe parking was one of the reasons we chose this place... The room upstairs was really noisy, either there were a dozen children jumping in there, or someone's head was hit on the floor again and again...

Review 31：The staff was really kind. Our room had it's own entrance, and the room was cosy. There was a mosquito net in the window, and even a small fridge was in the room. Nicely renovated. The breakfast was small, but eatable. They served it to our room.

I enjoyed the hospitality of the owner and the overall Stary Dom atmosphere. For the bucks paid it is way much better than expected. Watch the prices go up as the time progresses.
