Review 1：We booked a room with Wellness Access, but at the day we arrived we were told we can not use Spa that day. They said that Spa is occupied because of some private reservation and that we can use it only next morning any time from 7 am. Next morning we were told, that we can not go to Spa again... This time - because we haven`t warned the staff that we will want to use it at 9 am. (Although we already paid for this extra by booking room WITH Wellness Access....) In the room it was terrible hot and it was not possible to cut off the heat. Also there were strange noises (like a roar of an generator) all night long, so we barely slept.

Review 2：I don`t recommend this hotel.

Review 5：- there was a plastic film under sheet: did not bother to get rid of it, but could not have a good sleep on it. Not news to administrator, so specifis hotel's strange standard... - no central or dedicated air conditioning as promoted. Open window as solution late October - previous visitor's sticky drink stain on nightstand - one towel with brown stain on it

Review 11：*The location is quite far out. *There was no kettle in the room for tea. *The breakfast on Monday seemed like leftovers from Sunday, even a dead fly in the cut up pear bowl. (Sunday breakfast was very nice) *Still didn't like the fact that we had to pay extra for the spa as we were staying in the Luxury sweet(seems odd)

Review 12：*The beds were really comfy *big rooms. *The spa was 15 eur per person till 11pm every time you wanted to use it, after that if you wanted it you had to pay 40 eur for an hour for two people(but it was private then) But the best part was that if you didn't want the sauna you could specify that and they let you in for 8 eur per person. But the spa it self seemed quite good.

Review 13：Far away from the main entertainment locations of Sigulda including the Aerodium. Price is much higher than in other Sigulda hotels. Reception staff provide wrong information and take no responsibility for that. There were some problems with hotel card reader and we could not pay by credit card. Can't look out high windows on top floor.

Review 78：-Television service in the room was bad. -You have to pay extra for sauna and swimming pool which is 15 eu per person and this is not mentioned on their page. -Restaurant: first night dinner was ok, slow service but fair. We had terrible experience in the restaurant second night and had to wait for more than 2hours for simple pasta dish. (This was the day after midsummer night.) Besides, there were only 3 tables in whole restaurant and same for others. It was too late to go anywhere else, because there is nothing nearby or food delivery. They have serious administration issues or staff shortage.

We didn't really understand the staff and ended up paying 7,5 € / person / hour, thinking we could access the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and turkish bath (I'm pretty sure this was written at the desk). But only the pool and jacuzzi were included for this price. The jacuzzi wasn't properly working (only 1 program working out of 3), it was pretty dirty (there was sand in the water), and the pool was really cold ; we couldn't get inside. We complained to the staff but they didn't do anything except saying they were sorry.

Review 99：The location is OK, if you use car, otherwise it's far away from Sigulda city center. can't recommend to visit hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner - expensive and not tasty. We used cafe in fron of the hotel (in supermarket). And the last point is very serious - the walls are not sound proof - you can here the conversation on the neighbour room - it's very terrible - espicially in the evening when you would like to relax.

Review 100：The interior is good - I mean that it seems to be new and modern hotel. The staff was very friendly. The double room was quite big. Breakfast is OK, but basic (bacon, sausages, porridges, omelette, eggs, tea, coffee, milk - that's all).

Review 101：It's pretty far from the city center, the surroundings are veryunfriendly and ugly. And and English language course would do good tothe staff. They are too kind to say 'I don't understand' or 'I don'tknow' so they say 'yes Sir'. That brought me to ridiculous situations.Also it would be very nice if they had a contractor for taxi services.Someone who is able to give a receipt! (That's crazy in Latvia. The onlyplace where you get a proper receipt or invoice is a hotel or ahypermarket.)

Review 102：They are kind and everything works. It's very good for groups for a budget-friendly stay (while I was there, a big Austrian mountain rescue teamwas there and they enjoyed).

Review 103：The air conditioner in the room made a loud drone in 10-15 secondintervals. This would go on even when the air conditioner was turnedoff. Hotel staff assured me that this was normal behavior for the airconditioner. The tv in the room was a basic pc "14" screen. Only oneEnglish speaking channel. No shower curtain in the bathroom/shower. A 10 LVL charge and reservation for use of the sauna. Never been to a hotel that charges for the use of the sauna. This information was not on the synopsis of the hotel on Booking.com. Fridge in the room was not on or not working.The fridge light was on but the fridge was not cold at all. The Hotel Internet was the strongest on the ground floor. But signal was greatly reduced on the second floor. This resulted into many a internet drop out.

Review 104：A very large and spacious room with a king size bed.The hotel staff werevery helpful. Late check out hourly fees are incredible at Lvl 2.90 ahour. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Thespread itself did not have the largest selection like most 4 star hotelsI have stayed at. But the selection on offer was excellent. I evenrequested an omelette that was nicely made by the chef.I would most certainly recommend this hotel, and would like to stay at the Segevold in the near future
