Located in an old picturesque village of Donja Lastva, Eco Hotel Carrubba is set right next to the sea. It features a sauna and a restaurant that overlooks the sea.

Review 1：No need for reception-staff to stand up every time we passed reception.

Review 2：Great location in quiet local area and walking distance to the city. Very nice room with terrace and seaview. Delicious breakfast.

Review 3：There was strange smell from the sea at night, probably due to port. From the pictures on booking, I have expected own balkony, but actuaaly it was shared with other 2 rooms.

Review 5：Prices of food were way too high. Walk to Porto Montenegro and you get excellent food for 2/3 of the price. Lunch menu missing. Breakfast first day was great, second day no fresh juice anymore and hairs on multiple plates. Bed is extremely hard, resulting in back pain.

Review 7：The hotel is fantastic. It is a lovely old building which has been renovated to a very high standard inside. It is fresh and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great - right on the sea and there is a sociable town square up the road. No noise at night - the area is quiet and the room had excellent double glazing. We loved the place. Highly recommended.

Review 8：Hotel beds and rooms perfect. Lovely bathroom and shower. Everything works. Some small quality touches like: Hairdryer, personal scale (yes check your weight yourself) shoe horn, shoe brush, safe. Good stock in the Mini bar. The winner are the staff. From the reception staff, chef, waiters, cleaners and even the gardener. Lovely friendly and very respectful staff. The reception staff even stand up the second you walk into the lobby. The garden and potted flowers and schrubs all taken cared for by a charming lady from Vladivostok. The staff and a mix of Ukranian, Montenegran and Serbian I think. The all speak English, some Russian and the local regional dialects. I found the staff very very professional. Even to extend the kitchen hours (after 11pm) to shake up a quick omelette and snack for us. One evening I even saw the receptionist make a pot of tea for a Russian family who's son was crying for his evening tea (Kitchen was closed). Charming. Location perfect, quiet with sun bathing beds and a swimming area.

Review 9：Free wi-fi is really free))), but very poor signal all over the hotel (rooms, restaurant, and beach) exept lobby bar inside. And in gym, my opinoin, will be better if they will have wide variaty of dumb-bells.

Review 10：The best location, all facilites especially privite beach is so close to hotel. Nice food and the best staff in Kotor-bay. All this things make my vacation marvellous.

Review 11：Nonetheless, although the hotel was nice and cozy, we did find it quite simple. The room was very small and the air conditioning did not work effectively, however the fan did help a little. Moreover, the breakfast was vast (we could never finish the whole set and in the end were just telling what we wanted, without any menu) in quantity but could have been better in quality. Often, it is better to serve less but of a higher standard. We believed that salamis and cheeses that were offered contained far too many processed ingredients and could have been easily replaced with more special, freshly cut local cheeses since we've tried so many of them in Montenegro. We would still recommend this hotel for a short stay in Tivat to anyone but would warn not to expect too much. It is simple, cozy, has a great view and helpful staff.

Review 12：I would like to start by saying that we picked this hotel for our honeymoon, therefore we had very high expectations of all places we stayed in. Carrubba- is a good hotel, located in an ideal place right in front of the sea, can there be a better view when you wake up? On the plus side: location is nice, although perhaps Tivat itself is a little less cultural than some other places (Kotor, Perast), however is much nicer that others (Budva). The hotel has got great access to the sea and an excellent sun bathing area. In addition, the place is very clean and pleasant. I would like to mention the staff separately, as both girls from the reception were always extremelly helpful, knew the names of all guests, what adds to the hotel and makes it more personal. Moreover, as a just married couple we were welcomed with a good bottle of wine and nice flowers, which obviously made the mood! Thank you for that!

Review 13：The internet needs improvement. Works purely on the beach and in the room. Everything else in the hotel is outstanding!
