Review 1：the room smelt a bit damp, bathroom was damp and dark

Review 2：swimming pool, friendliness of staff: Newton was very helpful with my problem (lost luggage), nice terrace in front of room, nice coffee and nice breakfast

Review 3：We thought it was a shame that the breakfasts were rather dull (ifcopious and served with a smile). The shower in our bathroom was reallysmall which was a pity as it would have been so simple to add elbowroom... We thought that a bar would have been nice too.

Review 4：We liked that we were met at the ferry and taken there again at ourdeparture. We liked the swimming pool and the fact that it was calm(September). We liked the fact that the hotel was close enough to thetown centre to make things easy, but far enough out to be calm and havegreat view.

Review 5：There was a problem with the drains in the bathroom which made it and our room smell like a sewer. We asked to be moved, which we were after enduring one night of the stench. We received no apology and were still charged for the original room with a terrace and sea view, because we had asked to be moved! The breakfast was very poor. The hotel rooms were dirty, with cat hairs on one side of the outside chair cushions and food stains on the other.

Review 12：All the public spaces smelled of smoke as the owner smokes incessantly Getting to the hotel from the apartment was through a dirt track that had litter lying around everywhere, the internet was only available near the reception, the living room/kitchen area did not have an ac nor a fan which made it rather uncomfortable to be in. The owners are neither helpful nor friendly. The Toileteries were of the cheapest kind which in a presumptively 4 star hotel is not acceptable,

Review 25：We had originally booked a one bedroom apartment however we asked to relocated in the main hotel as the apartment was very tired and not up-to the supposed 4 star standard... The subsequent hotel room that we moved into was good however the bathroom plumbing was extremely smelly... Wi-Fi was not available anywhere in the hotel due to a fault with the service...

The staff gave us rides to and from the port several times, as well as giving us the manager's personal car to tour the Island for a couple of hours! When we had a problem in the apartment we booked they switched us to 2 hotel rooms with no questions and at no additional charge.

Review 32：Giovani and his team were excellent! Friendly efficient helpful! The breakfast was amazing-fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, croissants rolls ham cheese-whatever you wanted you could have! Great pool and terrace to relax on. Terrific views of old town and the sea! IPick up/ drop off from the port is also included! I would definately recommend this hotel.

Review 36：We can warmly recommend Hotel Villa De Pasquale! We had pre-booked itfor 5 days in June but liked it so much that we stayed 3 more days. Thehotel owner Giovanni and assistant Newton were genuinly interested inmaking our stay as pleasent as possible. We had dinner at the hotellseveral times and the food (mainly sea food) was exquisite. Bigportions! :-) Giovanni gave us a lot of useful recommendations forboattrips to E.g Salina, Stromboli, Panarea and Vulcano. The pool wasnice and the hotel lent us towels for free. It's air-condition atthe rooms but we didn't need it. The room was big, clean and cool.All rooms have view to the sea and city. It was only 8 min walk toLipari centre/harbour and Giovanni and Newton drove us for free toall excursions. The hotel has an agreement with a tour operatingcompany. The hotel has also an agreement with a shuttle taxi companywhich brings and picks up everyone at the beach. The price for this is13 euro for two persons incl sun chairs a whole day. Cheap ! The beachwas nice with few people.At the hotel we met other guests who had been at the hotel earlier, so it was clear that everyone liked Villa De Pasquale! Also try the local liqeur Malvesia, especially the version served at the hotel :-) We were very happy that we ordered hotel at the Lipari island. Lipari has many restaurants and shops with a good 'spirit'. Of the other islands, we liked Salina most, and the boattrip around Salina was great. Lipari has also an interesting museum which must be seen. We also recommend to go to Cave De Pomice a bit north of Canneto, to take a bath in the crystal clear water. It's possible to get there by car or boat. Remember your scuba diving equipment !

Review 38：There is no wifi in the apartments, but there is in the hotel, not a bigproblem, we connected and checked email during breakfasttime or went tothe patio of the hotel if we needed to get online.

We stayed at one of theapartments which was seperated from the main hotel by a few yards andgave us a little privacy and included a little bit of yard space and anice patio. The hotel staff was very helpful and arranged transportationto the beach and offered several options on entertainment and dining.The main town is in easy walking distance but the staff was more thanwilling to drive us if needed. One night a storm came in suddenly and wehad to dive into another hotel lobby to escape the rain and we calledVilla De Pasquele who arrived in a few minutes to drive us back. Nicebreakfast in the mornings.

Review 40：We had a very pleasant stay. Giovanni and his staff (Newton in particular) were friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel picked us up at the ferry - quick phone call to say we had arrived so no hassle with taxis. Hotel is about a 5-7 min walk from centre of lipari.rooms are immaculately clean. There is a nice pool area to relax. Giovanni can provide any hints/tips with regard to getting around the island. Overall great value for money so would recommend!

Review 41：The personal service given to me and my family at Villa Pasquale wasimpecable. Giovanni and his staff made sure that me and my family werewell taken care of from daily transportation to the port to dinnerreservations and daily activities. The pool was superb as well as theview. We felt very taken care of and would reccommend Villa Pasquale tofriends and family heading to the Isole Eolie.

Review 42：On arrival at the port we were collected by the hotel transport. The driver, Newton, was very friendly and helpful. We were staying in the 2 bed apartment in the grounds of the hotel. It was very spacious with 2 good double bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and a living/kitchen area. The amount of space was great for our family of 5 (3 children). We didn't use the cooking facilities, but it was very useful having the fridge to keep a supply of cold drinks. We were very well looked after by Newton and also the owner Giovanni. They did everything they could to help us have an enjoyable holiday. We were even allowed to use the hotel's computer. The terrace where breakfast was served had superb views over the old town. We always spent a long time at breakfast having our cappuccino and enjoying the view. Newton made a great cappuccino and always offered a second cup. The swimming pool was also great with superb views over the town. As we were the only guests at the hotel, the children had the pool to themselves, which they thought was fantastic. The hotel is in a quiet location just a 5-10 minute walk from the town. We spent 3 nightrs at the hotel and it was very relaxing and enjoyable.
