Review 1：The view from the apartment was not good and was just roofs and walls. There were no English channels at all on TV or Radio. The dishes were all dirty and sticky and some were cracked. There was no DVD player, microwave or toaster and limited cooking utensils.

Review 3：A lovely quiet big room from which you could just see the lake over the top of buildings. Amazingly kind friendly staff who even stored some of our food in their fridge (soya needed for dietary reasons).

Review 5：Fantastic one bed apartment, ideally located in heart of Salo, could not be better placed! Ok there's no lake view (or any view) but price reflects, and for the price we thought a bargain. Very tastefully decorated, lots of storage, good shower, helpful information pack. The people from the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast, as we shopped at Italmark supermarket. Local food choices generally very good. Highly recommended.

Review 9：The apparentment we stayed in was great, had good facilities and great location, homemade breakfast was excellent we opted to have it everyday even tho it didn't come with our appartment as we had a self catering place with the idea of making our own! Didn't need to in the end as it was so good! Staff are very helpful, and speak many languages.

Review 11：This was our second time at Aromi Piccolo hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a modern touch, however the best part is the warm and generous hospitality from the owners and staff. We have a baby and our stay was made very easy with help heating up food etc. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast is a delicious spread of home-made treats and location is excellent. Oh...and the aperitivos were excellent! Thank you for another wonderful stay and we look forward to seeing you again when we are next on holiday in Garda!

Review 18：The public transport wasn't great, the bus service and boat service seemed to finish at approx 6:30pm. there was a lot of confusion with the bus service timetable, and at one time the bus didn't turn up, we had to wait over an hour for the next one. The shops were really expensive. We would have liked a microwave oven also in the apartment.

The receptionists both spoke really good English and they and the other staff couldn't be more helpful. The owners were also lovely people. The hotel was very clean and the breakfasts were always to a good standard. The town was very clean and picturesque. The bus service was incredibly cheap. The apartment we stayed in was really nice/clean and comfortable, with good air con. We highly recommend the Piccolo Hotel.

Review 21：The location was ideal - Salo is beautiful and with the ferry terminal to explore the rest of the lake who needs a car? Salo is such a laid back, chilled out place you can't help but relax and enjoy the scenery. I will definitely be returning!

Review 23：The whole experience was great. The hostess, always a smile and a friendly hello. Her mom made all the delicious pastries for breakfast. She was as warm and welcoming as well. It's a boutique style hotel. Spic and span clean! Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Located within a 2 minute walk to lake. It's a great location to everything. We never took the car anywhere. Parking was in an enclosed garage for 8 euros per night. Well worth it.

Review 86：We had an unexpected opportunity to visit Lake Garda with just a little notice. We didn't have time to learn about every town so we decided to do something creative and pick where to stay based on the hotel. We chose the place with the best guest ratings we could find. That hotel was the Aromi Piccolo... and so we found ourselves in Saló. The reviews were EXACTLY right. It's a very close- knit group that run and/ or own the hotel. They were all sincerely kind and genuinely helpful. Most of the elegant breakfast offering were home made...jams, custards, baked pastries and cheesecakes... The rooms have a modern feel with subtle colors that just add so much class. We were offered our choice of rooms when we arrived and chose the street side because it had a small balcony. We never heard a sound with the window and door closed and the noise was barely noticeable even when they were open. The location is very close to the ferry station and a bus stop is just down the street. We used both to explore the area and had a wonderful time. We had reserved parking and the car stayed cool (lower floors of parking deck) and safe for much less money than anything else we found. It really is a fabulous little place and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone. (Thanks especially to Elizabeth who kept me company for a bit one evening.)

Makes you wonder how the Italian star system works as this place is better than most 4 stars I've stayed in. No complaints about breakfast, it was delicious, fresh, all home made including the jams and if you think you needed more you should be on a diet!.

Review 92：There was a bit of sound transfer from the corridor so you heard everybody as they came and went. However it was not so bad as to be completely off putting. The hotel was lovely.

The hotel provided secure car parking in a parking garage directly across from the hotel at €8 per day. The hotel was extremely modern. The room was bright and fresh with lots of space. The bathroom was modern and well laid out. The whole place was very well designed and appeared very fresh and new.

Review 94：Access via sat nav. You should drive into the town center, ignore the sat nav until then. The hotel is on the side of the main street, the sat nav took me down a side street millimeters wider than my Ford Focus for no good reason!
