In 2000, Aparjods was decorated in the competition "Wooden buildings in Latvia", organized by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Council of Europe. Review 1：The staff are super friendly. They offered me a lot of help to book skiing lessons and travel around sigulda. The hotel architecture design is nice though room interior is a little old.
Review 2：On the morning of my departure from the hotel,I wished to settle my account with cash.I waited in reception from 08.10 to 08.30(continually ringing the bell provided),but no member of staff appeared..I was fed up with waiting & eventually left the hotel in disgust at this lack of service.(I had a schedule to keep & did not want my credit card to be charged)I would expect any hotel to have reception manned at this time of day,& am disgusted with this lack of customer service.Can you please pass these comments to the hotel & also confirm that my credit card has been charged.
Review 3：breakfast only OK . Didn't see any staff except last morning when a Boss appeared. Experience at breakfast meant we didn't eat in restaurant in evening.

Review 5：Wireless internet - almost no connection. IPhone could not catch any signal. Bathroom - it's very big contrast between overall design and poor look of the bathroom. It seems that overall room requires some cosmetic repair. Prices in the restaurant are too high in relation with the price of the room.

Review 7：When we visited Sigulda, temperature outside was very cold, but in our room there was warm and cozy. Very comfortable bed, free and stable wifi, free car parking. Although the hotel is close to the road, it's immpossible to hear anything inside. Great and tasty breakfast. Highly recommended hotel.

Review 12：Good location, especially if you are just passing through, because the hotel is near the highway, which goes to Riga. The hotel is very beautiful and divided into four buildings. The architecture is also beautiful. Breakfast is basic, consisting of ham, cheese, bread, omelet, sausages, muesli, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice etc. Across the road is Hesburger (fast food) and two small shopping malls.

Review 31：1)We where looking forward having a good dinner in the so well reviewed hotel-restaurant; This turned out to be a big dissapointment, as we just where ignored by the waitress; Well, after more than 10 minutes we just left the place and spent our money somewhere else; This should not happen to a hotel with this rating and standard! 2) When travelling without a car you might find it far from the town "center", but actually all the attractions of Sigulda are away from the town center some kilometers anyway, so for us no real negative point, just a general note;
Review 32：Free parking, great spacious room (we had #202) with big windows, much light, very comfortable bed and although I travel with my own special pillow the ones provided by the hotel felt very good when I had a try; The whole interieur of the hotel is dominated by dark, warm wooden materials and neutral wall colours; Next to the hotel you can find a burger-shop, just across the street a little shopping mall; The hotel is just about 100metres from the Main road to Riga, when having a car: perfect location!
Review 33：After about two lightyears of trying to figure out how to turn on theair conditioning in the room, it has (again, naturally) turned itselfon. Lucky-..cky me. But then the sleep demanded attendance to and - inthe true manner of life's sick comedy - I couldn't turn it off.Neither could the obliging concierge, whom I had to summon at about 1:00in the morning. Neither could god. In the heaven of air conditionersthey don't have to use the manual.
Review 34：Everybody seems to be raving about their restaurant... And, don'tget me wrong, it was good. But only good. Of course, if you like theportions the size of a small undomesticated animal like baby t-rex, thenyou're in for a treat. And the staff are absolute stars: theysomehow managed to get to smiles even with my drunken slurps of belatedcompliments for the service. Overslept breakfast (naturally) but wasvery kindly saved by the coffee and very cold mineral water with loadsof lime. In a closed restaurant. While they were getting ready for thelong day ahead. For me - that's friendliness. Room was dizzyinglycomfortable.
Review 35：The prices for main courses in the restaurant are a bit pricely forlocal tourists. Lacking electricity plugs in the room - you have to gettv set off or use plug in the toilet for charging phone, water cattleand that is not convenient. There was a number of families with childrenstaying - I think they have to make children's playground in thepremises and think about children's menu in the restaurant or somechildren's corner or simple pens and papers for drawing. Overall,staff's attitude was positive for children (the waiter who servedus) but I could see some tension in body language of other waiters (sochildren do not break some china or disturbe other customers etc)

Review 37：Breakfast is very small and not really to enjoy, every day the same two kinds of sausage and cheese - but naturally enough to survive. But is it that what you want in the best time of the year, in the holidays? Only survive? Maid only brings new toilet paper and takes the garbage. Beds were not made clean and the bathroom not cleaned properly.
